As soon as you walk into the hotel, cigarette smoke hits you. Renovations are being done right now, so it can be a bit chaotic during the day. The pool was closed the whole time during my stay. This hotel also can’t seem to keep clean or extra washcloths. It was such a struggle to get extra washcloths, but I eventually got them. The room itself was nice and clean. Also, once you exit the hotel’s parking lot, you can see that we’re not in the best part of the city from the beggars/homeless hanging around the corner. The breakfast could also be a bit better. Cereal, fruit, and waffles were the only items available. If you’re looking for something fairly cheap and quick, then book this hotel. If you want an actual hotel that has good room service/hospitality, hearty breakfasts, a pool, and nice scenery, then I suggest you look elsewhere.

We went to our first cruise and stayed here the day before our cruise starts. The hotel is so close to the port. We left our car parked in the hotel. They offered a service to transport us to the port which is less hustle so that’s a good service to offer. The breakfast is mediocre didn’t offer any hot breakfast when we stayed. Can’t access the pool because it’s close, that’s a bummer especially when it’s in the middle of July.

The AC wasn’t working in the lobby or in the area where you eat at so it was a little uncomfortable being that it was in the middle of the summer in Tampa, but overall it was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was good, they provided boiled eggs and waffles for hot options. No microwave in the room, but there was one available in the breakfast area that could be used at all times. Staff were very kind and helpful. There was construction so we had to go around but wasn’t a big deal. A lot do homeless people right outside the property so just be mindful of returning to hotel at late hours.

The staff was great. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. However the facility was under construction/renovations during our stay, which eventually will be a good thing, but should’ve been disclosed before letting someone book. The carpets in the hallways were very dirty, all vending machines were gone, all laundry facilities were inoperable, and the pool looked like a green swamp and was not maintained or usable. This is one of the main things we were looking forward to using, as we were here for 3 days. The area felt unsafe, with people loitering outside the side door when we arrived at night. The whole front entrance and lobby were closed off. There were guest openly smoking weed in the courtyard. It seemed like some rooms were being used for housing, but I’m not 100% sure on that. Driving up to the hotel there were people partying with open bottles and smoking on the sidewalk next to the road. This was a rough stay. I hope the renovations help, but in the meantime, they shouldn’t be booking, in my opinion.

THERE IS NO SHUTTLE. I booked here for convenience. 7min Uber drives to Ybor but annoying when they claim to offer a free shuttle in a 7 mile radius. Breakfast was lacking, when crowded employees took a long time to restock/refresh items (and it was always crowded for breakfast). The gym had a broken machine. The pool was not heated (claims to be!). The entire hotel smells like cheap air freshener, which gave us a headache. We also had to keep asking for shampoo/conditioner (only 1 small bottle for a 4 person room). Staff was not friendly which is fine I guess. Didn’t spend any extra time at hotel, just a place to sleep. Was not expecting much and was still disappointed.

The location of the hotel is sketchy there were cockroaches in the bathroom. The curtain in the bedroom had a huge yellow stain on it. I think there were linen mites because I kept scratching all night on the bed. I did not get any sleep.

The outside wreaked of cigarette and weed smoke. Down the halls there was an attempt to mask it with overpowering air fresheners. The rooms, the also wreak of 30 years or more of smoke that has baked into the walls. Some in the family are highly allergic to smoke so it was a really hard time. We had to find a new place to stay at midnight. The redeeming fact was that the front desk agent was willing to give us a refund.

Staff were decently friendly. Breakfast was hot and acceptable. Room was basic but clean. Smelled like cigarettes and cleaning products to try to cover up the cigarette odour. A number of people seemed to be living there so it gave a shelter feel. In a sketchy neighborhood right off the highway. Lots of homeless near the drive entrance. We didn’t feel safe. We paid 280 USD and had I known what we were getting we would have canceled.

When we were driving in, the area in itself was not safe and there were many people laying in the road and sitting in the road. When checking in, the front desk lady was very nice she was very thorough with the check in. The first floor was being renovated so a handicap room was not available which we booked. To get us away from the noise she moved us to the second floor where there was no direct entrance and no elevators. We got to our room and opened the door and was met with the strong smell of cigarette smoke. We could not enter the room as the smell was so strong. We returned to the front desk and told the lady our dilemma and she graciously moved us to another room. We got back up to our new room and noticed right away the stains on the walls, on the comforters, and the rusted bathroom. We pulled back our sheets and were met with more stains and hair everywhere. We were disgusted. We immediately left the room and put our stuff in the car and went back to the front desk and waited to talk to the lady again. In this time, we watched some of the same people who were in the street on our way in walk through the lobby (visibly unwell) and straight out to the pool area. We requested a refund and had to utilize our third party in which we booked. Since this experience we and our third party booking site have not been able to get in touch with the manager who was informed of the situation.

Location worked out for us, which is why we close this hotel. It looked clean until we opened the windows and noticed the floors were absolutely filthy. I wore socks in the room for my whole stay. The hallways were also littered, so the whole place felt very dirty and unkempt.

This is the second time in 4 months we have stayed here. The first time we checked in the room was dirty and not cleaned properly. Night stands had crumbs on them and hair. This time it wasn’t cleaned properly either, Bathroom was filthy. Brown stains on facet and door as well as door handles were sticky. This will be the last time staying here.

The floor we were own smelled like straight weed and a lot of it. We saw 2 roaches in the bathroom the room was ultimately clean but we were only there overnight before going on a cruise and wanted to stay close. I loved that it was close to the port but I wouldnt stay there again.

The property was a little tricky to find (bless the GPS, but otherwise convenient to my weekend event. Missed a microwave to heat my eye mask. Had trouble with outlets next to tables. I have three devices to charge, plus a CPAP machine. The table lamp's outlets wouldn't orient with my charger, and only one of the bedside lamps would accept a plug. The bathroom door/toilet arrangement means I had to close the door to use the facilities, which is not my habit when I'm by myself. First world problems to be sure.

I needed a wheelchair accessible bathroom and roll in shower (like in the advertised picture). However, the room i was given had a bath tub. I called the front desk and i was informed that they only had 3 of these rooms and they were occupied. Luckily i was only staying one night, but i did have to drive home less clean then i would have liked. Also there was leftover drinks in the fridge from the last guest. Ac worked great that was a plus.

Comfortable and quiet. We had a quick one night stay and were happy with the room. The bed was clean and the bathroom was as well. Some areas of the hotel were a little questionable and the area was kind of scary, bad neighborhood. Some homeless people hanging out around the property. But we had no issues from them during our stay. Also parked our vehicle for 10 days on the property and no issues.

Room was clean, except for the ac unit, i have health issues and didnt catch on until i left and was shutting the ac off, i could see how dusty it was, Wifi didnt work when i tried using it, and the room was next to the ice machine, it was loud enough to give me problems trying to fall asleep, but when i did fall asleep it did nothing to wake me, i would stay here again, it was a very nice hotel and if i need to stay out rhere again, i would, but be more focused on my problems from the previous

Hotel property is located off highways and feels a little deserted. there is a small neighborhood nearby, but mostly it is surrounded by highways and abandoned properties. No stores or restaurants easily accessible by foot. A little difficult even to drive in the immediate area. The hotel itself is nice, with a little pool area. Inside the hotel everything is modern and clean. Bathroom had no fan. No microwave in room, but a fridge and a safe.

Staff was nice. Building is old and janky. Seems like it flooded and half of the building was repaired and the other half was replaced. Mattresses felt like cardboard. Some of the very minuscule breakfast buffet was expired. The AC unit in our room had a horrible squeaking noise nonstop the entire time it was running. Woke us up all throughout the night. You get what you pay for.

My stay was great !!! and the woman at the front desk was so nice and helpful, she got me in a early room because i came in from ct on a flight, i called from the airport and she said come on over and i will try and help you, she was very patient and kind. also on the return from my Cruise which this is the reason i picked Quality inn because they had a shuttle there and back. she got me in as fast as she could, because i came in about 10:00 also the place smelled good and the rooms were clean. her name was TiTi. I didn't get a chance to say thank you again to her because her shift was over by the time we left.

There was no body at the front counter when I arrived for check in. Waited approximately 10 minutes before some one showed. The room we were given had someone in it so we had to return to front desk to get another room which was extremely frustrating and possibly dangerous, since we entered the room that was already occupied. Other than a “Wow no one should be in there” there was no apology or offer of compensation.

Pillows were way too small, Called the front desk and never received any response from them. I have slept on rocks that was more comfortable than the bed I had in my room. Breakfast sucked. The only plus was we were didn’t realize we had to request the room be cleaned before 9:00am but someone came and cleaned it anyway.

Very industrial area, no real nearby food sources, make sure you lock your doors on your car and don’t leave any of your personal belongings in your car. It is located close to the cruise port and very convenient for that.

The desk clerk told me that the neighborhood was not a safe place to walk in the evening. She's suggested that I stayed on the property to be safe. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was ONLY carbs (waffles, bagels, cold cereal, etc.) For the price it was a good place. No accessibility to anything. No stores, no parks, no nothing.

Checked in here late to catch a cruise the next morning and have a place to sleep. Room and hotel were clean and perfect for a quick nights sleep. Area around the property didn’t make me feel safe with many people spending hours loitering around wishing 2-3 blocks of the property. Didn’t make for a comfortable atmosphere when walking to an area food establishment at night.

Was very clean inside and looked like most of the rooms have recently been renovated which was a big plus. There was a good amount of people at breakfast and were all asking where the eggs, bacon or sausage was but were told breakfast was limited to waffles, cereal, bagels & fruits. I would suggest having better options for breakfast. Staff was very friendly and let us check in 2 hours early at no additional charge as well.

Overall stay was good. I do wish breakfast was until 10 on weekdays and 11 on weekends. Last night we were there the keycards for the entire hotel stopped working. Waited over 1/2 hour to get into our room. They did their best but it wasn't fun waiting until after 10 to get in.
