Front desk was fine except I was charged for parking and did not have a car. I called and inquired let’s see if charge is removed. Elevator was filthy and “Gym”had all the lighter weights missing. No towels, water or wipe down wipes available in gym. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Overall just ok. Probably would not stay here again. Much better options available close.

We came as a large group for our kids travel volleyball tournament. This hotel was awesome. We rented the rooms that have a full kitchen and a living room two separate bedrooms, both with king-size beds and both rooms have its own private bathroom. Literally such a perfect set up for as many families as we had. After our volleyball tournament, we brought our chairs outside to the little courtyard near the pool where they had a basketball court set up with nets around it that our girls were able to play volleyball on. As parents got to sit around and chat and hang out it was the perfect set up. The nice man working the reception desk. Also let us use the lobby one night to order pizza and let the girls hang out and make Volleyball clips. Perfect hotel for a group to come.

The room was fine. In mid august the pool was closed. It was well into the 90’s. There were many children roaming the halls. The outside doors were never closed and locked. I called the desk and they said the maintenance man must have left it open. I soon realized it was the many hotel patrons flipping the door so they stayed wide open. I would flip it to closed and locked then I witnessed others flipping it to open. I felt extremely unsafe! I will never stay there again!

I stayed here with my dog, the staff was nice and the room was great. I will definitely stay here again & recommend to people traveling with dogs, convenient and dog friendly restaurants nearby. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the maintenance and the elevator being out of service.

I have to start with the fact that every interaction with staff was pleasant. There was not a single person that didnt smile and do their best to accommodate. The facility is in desperate need of a make over! The elevators were broken in our building. The ice machine is in the lobby which is an entirely different building. The kitchen utensils were clearly not clean. There was nothing to clean them with either. The pull matress had rust and mildew on it and no sheets! We requested 2 sets of sheets and blankets, sprayed the couch with disinfectant, covered it with all of the additional bedding and just slept on the couch itself. The cushions were so worn down that you sat on the actual pull out frame. The bed is ok. But the pillows are completely worn down and flat. I was so grateful that we brought some bedding. We still went by Walmart and bought a few blanlets. The air conditioner sounded like a helicopter when running. The smoke detectors blinked a super bright green light all night. The shower had a bit of mildew on the curtain as well as the grout. There is ZERO ROOM SERVICE! No turn down, no cleaning, no emptying the tiny trash cans. Breakfast is a TWO HOUR WINDOW and my entire family got sick a few hours after eating it.

I enjoyed my stay here however I wasn’t informed that the pool will be closed. The hotel texted me right after booking the room informing me their policy but didn’t state that the pool will be closed. When I arrived the front desk lady re told me the same policy and information about the hotel but fail to state that the pool and basketball area will be closed.

The doors were not in standard working condition, did not lock. One door entering the building was propped open with a pylon, another door did not close completely.

I’d give this place a 10/10! Amazing breakfast, fantastic room, STAFF WERE GREAT, the pool area was top notch. Safe and clean location- we walked all over after dark. Parking lot was easy, clean and safe.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was really good. Other than that the 2 bedroom suite we had absolutely wreaked of cigarettes (it was a non-smoking room) and the a/c worked on one side only. We also chose to use the stairs the remainder of our trip after being stuck in the elevator for what was five minutes but felt like hours. It was pretty scary. The outside of thw property was nice, and it felt like a safe area, and close to the amphitheatre...but a one night stay was too much for me.

Was greeted with bugs in the cushion of the couch, a dead roach in the kitchen, crumbs and dirt all over the floor, dirty bathrooms with no soaps. The window was broken to the room so the staff blamed it on homeless people coming in and out of the room. We were given a new room that smelled of pee with awful beds and a terrible couch. If we wouldn’t have driven an hour for a concert we would have taken our money and left this place!

Several roaches in the room. Not one to ever complain but that’s one thing I do not like. For the amount of money paid that should’ve never been an issue. Will not stay again and do not recommend.

As soon as we walked into the building where the room was it smelled like marijuana. It was so pungent. Our room was spacious and clean, but it seemed as though someone had laid in the bed after making it. Our TV did not work, but it didn’t matter much as we used the living area TV. There were two cars parked in the handicapped parking spots with the handicapped permits. When a car that was parked in front of our bedroom window kept reviving their engine, this happened the previous night, this time I contacted the front desk, and I didn’t hear it again. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was plenty. The location was great because it was close to everything.

Terrible! Smelled like weed and cigarettes everywhere, including the carpet and bed sheets. Not family friendly, would not recommend for families. We had 3 small children and deeply regretted staying here. Felt that it wasn’t safe with them walking on the dark dirty rug. However, I will say that the beds were comfortable and the room was spacious.

Room had a musty odor when we came in. Floors/carpets were dirty when we entered the hallway from outside. Looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks.

The Bathroom wasn’t clean, they gave us used dirty dry towels. There was no bodywash etc in the bathroom in one of our suite. For the price and location I wasn’t pleased. The clerk said if we need anything call the front desk. There was no phone in the room to call .

Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is more than adequate. Guest rooms are spacious. Furniture and linen make the room comfortable. Unfortunately, some of the equipment in the room was in need of repair and/or replacement. Of the 2 remote controls provided for 3 working tvs, only 1 remote was in working order. Neither phone was in working order. A number of the outlets didn't work, including USB ports. There is no dresser in the second bedroom. There were NO linens for the pull out sofa and the mattress was badly stained and should have been replaced. Sadly, there were crumbs beneath the cushions and debris beneath the pull out sofa that were left from the previous guest. The hallways needed to be refreshed. Many of the doors to the guest rooms were showed signs of wear and in need of a face lift. Many guest room doors displayed post it notes with messages for the staff, which made the hotel feel cheap. The doors which are intended to secure the building were often found ajar. The air was "stale" and was in serious need of circulation. Some of these things are easily fixed. Prior to any guest room being occupied, someone from management should go through a check list to make sure everything is clean and in working order.

I came into my building. It smelled like weed. Once I got into the room to inspect everything, the bed was poorly made and the bathroom had a dirty towel hanging on the door. There was also stains on the threshold of the bathroom door.

My room had roaches and the shower had mold. It was awful

My room smelled distinctly of tobacco smoke. At 2a.m. Had to call the front desk to ask room above to stop banging around. Took 20 minutes to check in. Key to get into building would not get me into the building side entrance (closest to my room), so I had to go to the middle entrance to gain access to my building (and my room). Rooms very roomy and great price point but check the aforementioned and determine if this is for you.

Room was unkept… apparent a deep clean hadn’t happened before my arrival. Noisy air conditioner, call front was informed maintenance had taken the day off, no other rooms… wasn’t informing anything had been checked… 4 nights of partial sleep because of noisy AC… no offer to rectify. Disappointing.

Room 120 was beautiful. Unfortunately it had been smoked in at some point and smelled of stale cigarettes.

Went to this hotel because it was located near the concert we were going to see. It’s really nice and rooms are huge

Room was perfect for the concert we attended. Rides too and from were easy to get back and forth. The only problem I had was we are in room 135 and the outside door you can hear everyone go in and out of the building.

4 night business trip. Sonesta properties are generally a good deal and this one was a great deal compared to other hotels in Alpharetta. First time staying at this particular location. That being said, I was first given Room 124. It was a TERRIBLE room. Really run down, smelled musty and moldy like a damp basement, the air was like a cool dank basement, the couch cushions were all out of shape and didn't fit anymore, carpet was filthy (I threw away my white socks)... Frankly nobody should ever be given this room! Normally, I would have immediately asked to change rooms, but I got in very late and needed to get some sleep before starting off for an early morning meeting. I called the front desk from my office the next morning to explain the situation. The associate was very nice about it and offered to put me in a different room when I returned. So night #1, one of the worst rooms I've EVER stayed in. Second room was so much better. No musty smells, clean carpet, and generally a clean room. Couch was still a little beat up, but better. Still, I did not sit on the couch at all during my stay. Kitchen while not modern was clean. The bathroom was the room most updated, and was very nice. Three nights in a good room. Breakfasts are a complimentary and a little better than average for similar hotels.

Everything was good, but the air conditioning was too noisy.

Natasha checking us in late at night was nice, funny, professional. We liked her a lot. We stayed here because of the 2 bedroom accommodations. Sofa bed not very comfortable. Room smelled a little weedy. Not as nice as pictures. We needed a few things for the room and they were brought right away. Pool was nice. Breakfast was just ok. Property dated, you get what you pay for.

Natosha at the front desk was friendly and helpful from the beginning, and when checking out she even asked if the dogs enjoyed the stay. The room was comfortable, and the kitchenette was great for making meals.

Clean room, excellent Guest Service!

This place should be 0 stars, highly don’t recommend. We booked this stay a month ago, once we got there they didn’t have any rooms for us. Julius at the front desk was very rude. Once they found us a room, of course it was with no AC. When notifying the front desk, Julius rolled his eyes as well as giving attitude when we had to get our room changed. We asked for more towels, we have yet to get those. Traveling from NJ to Alpharetta the customer service sucks!

I stayed from August 28th -September 01, 2025. An incidental deposit of $100.00 USD was charged to my credit card and I was informed that I will receive a refund withing 7-10 business days after check out. I still have not received my refund till this date and it is difficult getting in contact with a representative via the phone. Apart from that, the place is ok.

Easy to locate the property and the staff was courteous however the understaffing this day delayed my checkin by 1-1/2 hours . This affected our scheduled meetings for the remainder of the day. Didn’t book another hotel due to the 20 mins, “your room will be ready “. I don’t appreciate being misled.

The front desk staff are exceptional. I never write reviews, but they deserve to be commended. A special shout out to the gentleman working late evening/early night. He was super helpful and pleasant. The room is excellent. Spacious and everything wonderfully clean. Just a super comfortable room, bed, shower. Great water pressure, work area, and the tv is the best I’ve seen in a hotel recently, especially with the free Showtime and the ability to search through movies.

The staff ,amazing .Lakisha,Jorge and a woman that works at night,they’re great . Now,room needs some updating, not sure if that is within hotels staff decision but a renovation is necessary . Insulation of the ac and around looked botched , room looks dark and dreary,could use a modern look. Breakfast wasn’t the best . Again though,staff was amazing

Please look elsewhere in Alpharetta for stay. We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and that was one of the worst stay that we ever had. firstly - very poor customer service, secondly - very limited breakfast options & the person arranging the breakfast so rude and rough as if we were doing her a service (and not the other way round), thirdly - they wouldnt change the towels in your and you end up doing multiple follow ups. Alpharetta has many other hotels and we regret booking this hotel.

The reviews for this place confuse me. This was probably one of the worst places I have ever stayed. I booked my hotel at six. I got there at 11 and the guy at the front desk. Jeremy was great super professional great person we go to the first room. My daughter walks in and there’s roaches everywhere. I was honestly going to check out cancel my reservation and go somewhere else but then he told me that he would have to charge me 100 something dollars because I didn’t get there until 11 PM. Mind you I just booked the hotel a couple hours ago so he brings me to a different building and I’m like OK I will look at it. I do a throw check. I don’t see any bugs however it’s filthy. There’s hair crumbs and whatever else on the sheets there’s crumbs all over the floor. They don’t give you soap or a sponge, despite having a sink. There was no shampoo, body wash, hand soap or conditioner, despite having the bottles there which means housekeeping, never even checked them. I had to ask for them. The tub was backed up. I told the lady by the name of Keisha. She said she was going to send somebody she never did when asking if we can have another blanket we were told you only get one per room. When we lost our keys and we asked for replacement ones, the lady who I’m going to assume is the manager got kind of puffy and said we don’t really have keys to spare - but that isn’t really a me problem? We will never stay here again. Almost $400 for a Friday check in and Monday check out

Staff was professional, clean rooms, comfortable beds, good breakfast, property in a great location...we walked to concert...overall a great experience...and we'll be back for our next concert!

Didn’t catch the clerk’s name when we checked in but he was very welcoming, knowledgeable, professional and made the process seamless. Property was clean and in a great area. Next to a malll and plenty of restaurants.

Good experience. Would go back. Did not have pets. Went to concert and stayed the night. Wasn’t there long. Close to the concert venue and had so many restaurants and places to go and shopping very close . Could walk. Would recommend and would stay again!

Check in was easy. Location was good and seemed to be a good neighborhood. Hallway to rooms smelled and was outdated. Along with elevator. There was some stains on the bed sheets. Room was nice. For price it wasn’t bad and to be expected. Breakfast was a joke

Basic clean hotel with a decent breakfast and an amazing pancake maker contraption that you wave your hand and whips out 4 freshly made pancakes. Right next to north point mall so convenient.

Hotel Review Overall, my stay was pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient. However, the continental breakfast was disappointing. It was taken down 45 minutes early, so I didn’t get a chance to eat, and they never refilled the coffee. This was frustrating, especially since breakfast was advertised as available until a certain 9:00am. Otherwise, a good experience, but the breakfast situation needs improvement.

The hotel was clean and quiet, the decor was dark and gloomy, the breakfast was a small omelet with a slice of cheese and overcooked sausage links, served on small snack-size plates, breakfast was disappointing. The staff was friendly.

The property was OK. You had to leave the main building with the lobby to get to your room which was frustrating because it rained most of the time I was there. The continental breakfast was worse than what is found at most similar hotels.

Breakfast bar was very nice and staff from check-in to attendants were all very helpful. Thank You for a wonderful stay!

There were three of us in a room with a king-size bed and a pull out sofa bed (the sofa was terribly uncomfortable). We came back to the room late night after a nearby concert. We pulled the sofa out to to sleep on and found no sheets on the bed, and it was filthy with crumbs and I don't even know what other stuff was there because we closed it up immediately thinking we would put sheets on the sofa itself. There were no sheets to be found so we used a sheet and blanket from the king-size bed. It was not a comfortable night's sleep! Another issue was breakfast! We went to breakfast around 9am to find several other guests waiting for the hot breakfast items to be replenished. Then the pancake batter and the coffee ran out! There was only one lady trying to refill everything and she finally succeeded but quite a few people left without breakfast.
