The hotel is a little older, but it is still very nice. The hotel as a whole was very clean. We will definitely stay at this hotel again, especially if we are going to the Ameris Bank Amphitheater. They had free transportation to and from the amphitheater. The guy driving the shuttle went out of his way to take us to get food after he brought us back to the hotel. I give this hotel 5 stars!

Horrible stay didn’t know hotel was under renovation they serve breakfast in the meeting room workers were painting while you were eating, dust flying. I’ve stayed at a lot of Hyatt Hotels and by far this has been my worst experience ever. a lot of slip trip and fall areas from the construction, house keeping didn’t leave towels, Food was cold but front desk ladies were great

The room was spacious. We enjoyed having a microwave and refrigerator since we had food to heat up after our concert. The shuttle driver that took us to Ameris amphitheater was friendly. On both ways to the concert and pick up we didn’t wait but a minute or two so that was great. I would stay here again if I was going to Ameris amphitheater this is the closest Hyatt Place to the venue. One thing that they could improve on is the speed of the elevators going down seem to take a while.

There should not be any renovation work being completed when there are gusts occupying hotel rooms. Dust from the renovation work traveled as far as the Breakfast room where guests consumed food.

I wasn't aware before booking that the hotel was under construction so the lobby and first floor amenities were an eye sore. I wanted to go to the gym and it was unavailable but they still had breakfast. The room was clean and spacious looked updated but one of the nighstands looked like they forgot to install an outlet. I think once they are finished with renovations it will be a nice stay but i was only there for one night so it did the job. Also my shower head screamed at me the whole time so not very relaxing.

Our room was great! The reason we chose this hotel was the convenience of closeness to Ameris Bank amphitheater. We asked if there was a shuttle available to and from the venue and were told there was, well there was not! Very disappointed, but walk was not bad 1.1mile. Also one elevator was out and made for a very long elevator trip. Once again, the room itself was great!

This hotel is currently undergoing major reconstruction of the ground floor level. The entrance to the makeshift lobby is through a side door of the building. Once past check- in the rooms are extremely comfortable & clean. Not sure if construction noise would be a probem during the day?

DO NOT STAY HERE! Roaches in the rooms! No hot water! Bodily fluids on the couches! No room service for fresh towels or to make the beds. I had to leave the hotel after 2 hours of being in the room. The roaches was it for me. The manager Kiki would not refund me the nights (remind you, I never stayed any of the nights because of the disgust, I was in the room for 2 hours). I told Kiki the manager how the reviews online are exactly what my experience has been and why wouldn’t they do better to clean things up? Her response was magical, she said…”you read those reviews and still chose to stay here? Then that’s on you”. I couldn’t believe that was her response. I had to end up getting another hotel. Spend a little more per night and stay at the new Hilton Alpharetta which is very clean and customer service is top notch! Disappointed in you Hyatt. Even more disappointed with the management and KIki!

During a check in process, the clerk was extremely nice ( Keke). But when we made it up to our room, the sheets and linens were dirty, ( they had hair on them and obvious dirt ). The bathroom was gross to say the least… There was more than the showers, and it looks like the toilet hadn’t been cleaned in sometime. Upon further inspection, we noticed that the trash cans were also full and the room smelled like old coffee grounds. When we brought it up to the clerk, she moved us into a different room. She was very accommodating and made sure we had everything that we need. However, the cleanliness of this room was also subpar. It’s obviously been cleaned, but there is mold and mildew on the shower, the fridge has sticky stuff inside of the bottom of it, and the sink was dirty. It had food in it still.

The staff are very friendly and professional and our hotel room was very nice. Check in and out were super easy. The location of the hotel is awesome near shops, lots of restaurants and access to the Big Creek Greenway trail is 0.6m from the hotel. One of the lifts was out of commission for more than a day of our stay and the lifts were rather slow so that took quite a bit of time to go up and down to leave the hotel/ come back in. Breakfast was ok but the hot food didn’t look very appetizing; there were 3 choices of cereal; there were bread and bagels to toast, butter, jelly, peanut butter and cream cheese, and little containers of mixed fruit. And today there was vanilla yogurt. The fresh fruit was ok some days and other days there were strawberries stuck together with mold which made me doubt if they washed the fruit. The boiled eggs were very over boiled so the white was rubbery and the yolk grey on the outside. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the room was a nice hotel room with a sofa and tv area, a desk and fridge. The bathroom which had a shower and toilet in was rather small. The sink was outside the bathroom.

PROS: Location! Right in the middle of food, shopping, even a movie theater next door. HUGE TV with good cable selection. TV is on a swivel so it points toward couch or bed. Very clean bathroom (my must-have), clean and comfortable bed. Fridge, coffeemaker, area for your suitcase with drawers. Bathroom was spotless and water pressure was good. Clientele was a diverse crowd, QUIET and peaceful stay. CONS: Not ONE visible power outlet in the room! Weird as it was just updated?? Outlets are behind the bed and behind the couch. Bring an extension cord! Elevators are slow, and a couple of button lights don't work which can be weird/confusing. Overall a peaceful, pleasant stay.

When we checked in there were lots of people in the lobby. No rooms were available for check-in at 4:30 p.m. so everyone was gathered in the lobby. When we came back to check in after a show around 11:30 p.m., they had given away our room. We booked a double Queen and pull out sofa for a party of five people but they put us in a room with one queen bed. They initially didn't seem to have any answer for us and provided no alternative. After some time they stated someone had canceled their reservations so there was another room available for us. It was a very difficult experience overall. The rooms were actually very nice though

Check in was very easy, room was nice. The only complaint I have is there’s a few places that needed new paint. The staff was ESPECIALLY friendly and helpful, letting us know of a free shuttle to the concert venue we were attending that evening.

Drove 10.5 hours from FL to Alpharetta GA (Hyatt Atlanta/ Alpharetta Northpoint). Arrived at 4:30 PM (1.5 hours after check in) for an event that began two hours later. I was informed that our room was not ready. When I told the staff that I had a concert to be at with my two daughers at 6, he stated, "Well, I don't know what you want me to do." I was then given a room with one bed a pullout couch for my two teenage daughters and me. When I informed them that I paid more (happily) for the room with two beds, and that I would like a refund for at least the difference from the double to the single bed room, I was told, again, "I don't know what you want me to do." With little time to spare, we went to the room. The room's AC would only run at the coldest setting so we had to turn it off periodically creating a humid room. Staff provided no towels for three of us now staying ina single, and there was no bedding for the pullout couch. Drove 10.5 hours from FL to Alpharetta GA (Hyatt Atlanta/ Alpharetta Northpoint). Arrived at 4:30 PM (1.5 hours after check in) for an event that began two hours later. I was informed that our room was not ready. When I told the staff that I had a concert to be at with my two daughers at 6, he stated, "Well, I don't know what you want me to do." I was then given a room with one bed a pullout couch for my two teenage daughters and me. When I informed them that I paid more (happily) for the room with two beds, and that I would like a refund for at least the difference from the double to the single bed room, I was told, again, "I don't know what you want me to do." With little time to spare, we went to the room. The room's AC would only run at the coldest setting so we had to turn it off periodically creating a humid room. Staff provided no towels for three of us now staying ina single, and there was no bedding for the pullout couch. When we arrived at 6 pm. The lobby was full with fof people waiting on rooms. Check in was at 3pm. Rooms were still not cleaned and ready. Staff seemed clueless and lost. Amazing that a business is ran that way

After making a reservation months in advance we ended up waiting over an hour for our room. We arrived around 4:30 The front desk said they were trying to get rooms cleaned. There were many people waiting in the lobby for their rooms. Some people were not able to get their rooms before leaving for a local event.

The place was very nice and convenient. There were problems with the check in, due to being very understaffed. We, like many others, had arrived for a concert, hoping to check in before heading over to the venue. The hotel informed us that the room would be ready in over an hour. We arrived at 5pm. Couple of things I didn’t like; 1st the check in clerk was out of her desk for an extended time and there was a line when I tried to check in. 2nd I was charged an extra $50, I still don’t know why, even though I had already paid for the full amount. I was under the impression those charges were going to drop, maybe like a security deposit of some sorts, but it never did.

We took a quick trip here to see Avril Lavigne at the Ameris Bank Amphitheater. Loved the location because we could Uber or walk to the concert. Also loved having the mall so close to us. Staff was very nice as well!

I traveled alone for business, my brother was staying nearby with some friends, I found this hotel to be near them, I felt super safe. I went out in the morning for walks and was able to get food at the sandwich spot a few steps away. I needed a coat and was able to walk to TJ Maxx and buy one. One of the most convenient locations.

We really enjoyed staying at this Hyatt hotel. The hotel and our room were clean, the breakfast was good, and the location was great - close to North Point Mall plus many other stores, many dining options and also close to GA 400 and where my family lives in Alpharetta - just overall, a great location. And free parking, unlike many other hotels close to Avalon!

Everything about the hotel was great except for the kitchen staff. When we went down at 9:30am on Saturday and the breakfast did not close until 10am, I asked 2 women that worked there if they were making anymore food but they were very rude to me about it and walked away while I was talking to them in a calm manner. Started cleaning up and we had to just eat a piece of toast that was left. I will never stay here again because of that.

Overall the stay was excellent! The room was nice and very clean. The bed was comfy, the staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was subpar, cold, and not great, but it’s a free hotel breakfast, I’ll live. We’d definitely stay here again!

. Check in was at 3. The room wasn’t ready at 4 when we arrived. Told 30 minutes. Told another 30. We were offered a drink from the bar, but after driving 7 hours, we expected to get into our room. Constantly had to wait for towels..we would be told they would be brought to our room, and that did not happen. Employees were friendly. Breakfast was good. Fresh fruit and hot scrambled eggs were a plus.

The staff are very friendly and professional and our hotel room was very nice. Check in and out were super easy. The location of the hotel is awesome near shops, lots of restaurants and access to the Big Creek Greenway trail is 0.6m from the hotel. One of the lifts was out of commission for more than a day of our stay and the lifts were rather slow so that took quite a bit of time to go up and down to leave the hotel/ come back in. Breakfast was ok but the hot food didn’t look very appetizing; there were 3 choices of cereal; there were bread and bagels to toast, butter, jelly, peanut butter and cream cheese, and little containers of mixed fruit. And today there was vanilla yogurt. The fresh fruit was ok some days and other days there were strawberries stuck together with mold which made me doubt if they washed the fruit. The boiled eggs were very over boiled so the white was rubbery and the yolk grey on the outside. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the room was a nice hotel room with a sofa and tv area, a desk and fridge. The bathroom which had a shower and toilet in was rather small. The sink was outside the bathroom.

Stayed a night as I was going to a show at the nearby amphitheatre. The staff was very friendly and offered a shuttle service to and from the venue, which was amazing. The breakfast combination was a little questionable, but good nonetheless. The room was clean and spacious. Really enjoyed the stay. Will stay again if I ever return to the area.
