Staff was friendly and helpful. Our original room the sheets looked like they were not changed, they had hair on them and spots that looked like makeup. Soap dish had old residue on it and the mirror was dirty. They did switch us to another room after we had already unpacked. The most upsetting part of the stay was the pool was closed and empty for repainting I feel this should have been disclosed at time of booking, we may booked a different hotel if we had known. They acted like this should be no big deal and just shrugged it of.

Ok..needed to do laundry but detergent dispenser was broke. First front desk person didn’t know where any was but morning person found some immediately and provided me. Stick not fixed after I mentioned it to them. Overall though, decent stay.

The back of the hotel looks like it is being remodeled or had storm damage. The building is older, but the inside was clean and pleasant. The elevator was questionable so we didn’t use it after the first trip up. The pool area was nice. The pool is not heated (I add this because I couldn’t find mention of it). The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. We had adequate pillows, towels, hair dryer and etc. items. The room didn’t have a microwave but did have a small refrigerator. The bathtub strips didn’t extend to the end of the tub so it was slippery. The only thing that really disappointment me was that staff wouldn’t bring out any other items out. We came down 50 minutes before breakfast was supposed to end and the only option was waffles, cereal and small store bought muffins. Our family and several after us were not able to have any eggs or sausage etc. I saw the last of the fruit, bagels and oatmeal taken as soon as we approached. When I asked about the possibility of more food the staff lady was snippy and said there would be no more because breakfast was almost over. Wouldn’t even give us bread or more fruit or anything. She was busy putting stuff up so we left it alone.

Very engaging and friendly associate (I believe, Kenneth) during check-in and while we were in the lobby area. He provided some helpful hints as we were traveling over to Brevard and then the Smoky Mnts. - such as, sites to visit and scenic drives. Enjoyed visiting with him. There was a bad smell as soon as I entered the lobby. The room felt damp the entire stay, even my hair wouldn't curl because of the dampness. The bathroom needs to be updated, and the toilet, tub and sink seems to be for people of short stature. Certainly not worth 200.00 a night, not worth half that.

I completely understand that sometimes older facilities such as this one can be difficult to make look great, but seeing the changes that have been made to the place since my last stay there was nice. Not sure why they don't go to hard surface flooring, but they had put in new carpet in some areas. That was like a breath of frewsh air! This place is as clean as it can be in my opinion. Only so much you can do to make an aged and stained bathroom fixture look new! The only issue for me was the fact that the outer bed covering had stains on it that looked as if they could have been washed out. Trying to save money on laundry is good, but anything that is a soft surface should be laundered in between tenants. There is just no telling what can be transmitted that way.

The property was fine for a hotel at this price point. The bathroom was in good condition and quite clean. The bad was a little squishy for my taste and the television didn’t work. The hallway was noisy, could hear lots of chatter from the rooms, but the room itself was quiet. Possibly this was due to the fact that our room was on the end of the building. I aside from the TV not working , which interferes with our plan to watch football, it was just okay.

First thing that didn't work was the TV...They came to room and showed us how to go to back of TV and restart..happened 2 more times in our visit. The toilet paper holder was broken. The shower faucet was broken. The stopper in the tub came apart. We had them come and fix that. The air conditioner did not work. They came and worked on it (told us that it was a new unit). Would not stay there again.

The property was clean, quiet and overall a very good choice. My only complaint about the room is that one side of the king sized bed had a dip in the mattress. Fortunately I was by myself so slept on the other side which was fine but it would be a problem if a couple were staying in the room.

First room I was assigned to was next to the elevator, and it had a very strong odor of being unclean. The carpet was heavily soiled. I couldn’t stand it, and asked for a room change. The clerk admitted that there’s been previous complaints of the odor, which makes me wonder why would it be assigned to anyone until the issue is fixed. Second room was ok, very dated and old looking, but seemed clean. Breakfast in the morning was good, but the coffee was lacking. The staff was friendly, and the surrounding area is very nice.

My wife and I had a nice stay at the Comfort Inn in Blairsville, Ga. Overall the room was a good size, the AC/heat worked well and the room looked quite clean. The room lacked a microwave oven, the freezer in the fridge needed defrosting as it was packed solid with ice and one day of our 3 night stay we ran out of hot water and could not shower. The front desk was informed and the issue was resolved.

The rooms had obviously been remodeled recently. New furniture and the mattress felt new. Carpet in great shape and looked new. Bathroom sink had an issue and addressed by staff Breakfast very average with a waffle maker, sausage and egg product.

This hotel was very centrally located in Blairsville. The beds were comfortable and there were eggs and sausage as well as bread and pastry options for breakfast. Just beware we stayed in a king bed room and being that the hotel is a bit older, but nicely remodeled the one thing that didn’t get updated is that the toilets are low to the ground as well as the toilet paper holder being about 12 inches from the floor, so it’s a bit awkward of a reach and getting up and down and I’m only 5’1”, so I could imagine someone taller would struggle and may need to stay in an handi-accessible room.

The shower had rust stains. The bed was too hard. And the breakfast, which started at 630a, had almost nothing left at 7a. The cereal had crumbs in flakes container and then fruit loops. There was almost no bread for toast. The muffins were stale. There were 4 containers of high sugar mixed fruit yogurt and the juice was a mixture of pear and apple.

This is my second time staying here while attending a festival nearby. The room was comfortable. I like that the air conditioning unit runs constantly. The beds were firm. A variety of firm and soft pillows was on the bed. The only thing i was dissatisfied with was the free breakfast. The food offerings were slim and not worth eating. We tried the breakfast the first day and then went out to eat the other days.
