Copperhead Lodge and Resort Cabin Rentals

Staff was INCREDIBLE! extremely helpful and friendly. Made for an extremely pleasant experience. Room was comfortable (once we realized how to get hot water- our fault for not reading the posted instructions) and property is beautiful. Pool wasn’t open, but that was ok. The deck upstairs was relaxing and the kids enjoyed the games! Can’t wait to plan our next trip!!

Several years ago we rented a cabin on this Copperhead property-our stay was fantastic-a restaurant at the lodge was a place we'd go to after a day of motorcycle riding. The pool was inviting though we did not use it back then. This trip the pool was green and "closed for the season" (in July). The lodge, which is where we stayed, felt abandoned-no representative was there to give us the extra toilet paper, soap and towel we needed-luckily the pool bath was unlocked so we replenished what we needed from there. The carpet in the room was so dirty my feet were black from walking on it barefoot. And no one ever answers the phone. It seems this property could have so much potential IF ONLY they would improve upon it. The grounds are pretty. Maybe bring the restaurant back, maintain the pool and have staff available to handle even basic needs.

Gorgeous property with comfy rooms and a nice guest lounge area with complimentary drinks and breakfast items. Biker friendly as well with covered parking. Hope to come back on our bike and stay for a week. Sorry we missed eating at the onsite restaurant, The Flying Trout.

Our trip was for two nights and we had dinner both night at the restaurant located on property. Great food, friendly staff, large nice swimming pool, and beautiful mountains located near property. We definitely will come back and stay at this location again cause price was great.

Staff are excellent to work with. They were very accommodating and always pleasant. The Cabin was perfect. The hot tub was well maintained and super clean. We absolutely loved staying here an will definitely be back.

This place is in a great location for bikers!! And they cater to the bikers from preferential parking for bikes to cleaning rags. Close to all the good riding roads.

Check in was fast,easy and nice. The room was huge and comfortable. They don't advertise breakfast,but in the lounge in a fridge,they have a few breakfast items,coffee pods and creamer,muffins etc..There is a restaurant on site,which we didn't try ,and music on the patio the nights we were there. The grounds were very nice as well,and it's a great place to walk. Everybody that I talked to that worked there was extremely nice and helpful. .Parking is weird. It's a lodge,so you park at top where the restaurant in the lodge is and walk down to your room. The only people that can park at the rooms are people on motorcycles. Just letting you know so you can be aware. The shower in our room took forever to get hot,then as soon as I got conditioner in my hair it turned freezing cold for about two minutes,then scalding hot again. These are things I'm sure they will get worked out as time goes on. They have just took over the lodge,so they are working on fixing things. Another thing that is NOT their fault was somebody staying there had a small dog that sounded like a Chihuahua. It woke us up every morning before 7 barking. Very annoying. We will stay again

Pool not working and great for frogs not people. "Creek view" seemed like a practical joke. Bring food - no restaurant, no working vending machines.

Beautiful place!! The owner was so kind and the cabins were kept very clean!! The place was quiet and it has a great pool. They have love music at the restaurant in the property. The atmosphere is friendly, fun and the food was great! I will definitely go back :)

LOVED Copperhead Lodge and Resort. Beautiful grounds. Rooms were SPOTLESS. Had everything we needed. Keurig, mini fridge in the room. They have a common area where you have access to a toaster and microwave. Staff were sooooo very friendly. Restaurant was great! Blairsville a very short drive. Quaint little town with lots of nice shops and restaurants. Hole in the Wall has great breakfast! VERY close to Blue Ridge. Beautiful town with TONS of shops. Very close to Mercier Apple Orchard. Our whole experience was wonderful. HIGHLY recommend Copperhead Lodge and Resort

3 of us stayed overnight for my BFF’s birthday trip. Everything was very clean. The entire area was well kept. We didn’t use the hot tub. l forgot to tell them about it. There was ample parking for our vehicle. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cabin had everything we needed, and it was quiet. I would definitely recommend this place.

The location, and outside, as well as the interior design was good but the cleanliness HORRIBLE! The entire room smelled of urine, there were stains on the carpet, the comforter had stains on it, the shower had mold and the shower curtain was stuck together wet and moldy. The outdoor swimming pool was green.

I really wanted to give this property the highest marks (5 stars), but the following had to be told. Expedia did not disclose that the pool, the dining room, bar & the lounge was closed on this distressed property as it's up for sale. My opinion this property has so much potential but being neglected. The first thing that I noticed upon arrival and check in was that everything was closed I must hold the properties up for sale all the weeds near the Creek was overgrown and unkept. Upon entering my room 108, the toilet bowl had a black ring around it with gnats flying in/around, the toilet paper was almost gone - no backup or spare/s in the drawers. Got to speak to my neighbor in room 107 and she said that she didn't even have a shower curtain! In the morning, I went to add water in the coffee pot and that was unclean, there was a used Folgers packet in the coffee maker, the glass coffee pot had a film on it unclean and in the morning of course then I noticed there are no coffee cups, so I had to cut open a beer can to be able to drink some coffee SMH. Since the dining was closed I had to get myself some frozen dinners and when I came back to the room the second night starving I went and took my frozen hungry man out of the freezer & the microwave was not working neither was coke vending machine in the social area, so I went hungry that night. Many other things but I'm limited to list them but upon departure saw cockroach climbing in the shower as well 😔

Non smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke. Thin walls and very noisy. Carpet in room was dirty.

The office closes early but late check in package was easily found. Room was nice but small. The bathroom corners and threshold were dirty and tiles in the shower were cracked. Bedding and linens were clean and nice. Coffee maker in the room with a nice mini fridge. Check out was just a key drop box and easy to do. Nice surroundings and convenient to Blairsville. Would stay at Copperhead Lodge again.

Very quiet Didn't care for a dirty coffee pot... for someone who loves coffee this was a big turn off...

Very quiet. Clean. Staff was pleasant. Needs to be remodeled. Very dated. The grounds were unkept. Even though the pool was emptied the pool deck was a mess. Furniture toppled over. Looked messy.

Beautiful resort lodge. Great price. Well appointed and furnished room. Very clean.

The property was in disarray. Pool was closed, lobby/restaurant was closed, and the "River view" should be changed to "Near a creek". The sheets were stained and there was broken glass on the bathroom floor. The front desk was nice but I would not recommend staying at this property at this time.

Wow...this place is terrific! So relaxing to just sit on the bench outside our room and listen to the birds and creek!

Very very nice hotel. Had one issue. They put us under the restaurant. And it was very very noisy till around 10:30. We stayed here during a trevaling so we were going to bed around 830. So if your trying Togo to bed early don’t stay under the restaurant 😂

The stay was pretty good. Great lady named Pam who greeted us. She was amazing. The room was very clean which is a big thing for me. I’m pretty sure the restaurant was above us so it was a little noisy at times until around 10:30 or so. Sounded like tables being slid around. That was the only part that wasn’t excellent. I would definitely go back.

Such a quaint lodge, was perfect for the one night stay to attend a concert nearby. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Room was cozy with a good sized bathroom. View from the window was stunning with star gazing unhindered by lights of the lodge.

Stay was good. The location was great. We plan to return in the fall. We stayed in the lodge. The restaurant above us was noisy until 10 or so. Our next stay will probably be in a cabin.

Reasonable, small rooms

We wanted to sleep in the afternoon and because the rooms are below the restaurant, we couldn't sleep because of the noise of people walking and the movement of chairs.

Clean and comfortable. Quiet and a bit removed...not urban. Room is smaller than usual franchise type hotel room but all needs are met. Rocking chair outside of room. Parking is a bit awkward, but the lodge is easy proximity to Blairsville and the rates are the best around.

I stayed in room 110 at the Lodge. The room was small but adequate and the bathroom was spacious. Instructions for the shower was very helpful. The room was clean, mostly quiet. The restaurant is closed Sunday & Monday so make sure to plan for that. There are about 30 cabins that look nice. I would like to come back for a longer stay.

The room was clean but very small! No seating in the room. Easy check in and check out. Never saw a staff member. I really wish the the lounge was open.

There was no one there to greet us at 7 pm nor when we left at 9 am. Single room was clean. Bed had a gully. Room air conditioner was so loud we had trouble sleeping. We had to turn it off to finally sleep

My husband and I got rained out of our camping trip and the owner Denise was SO kind and generous! She got us in way before checkin time and remembered us during our stay. The whole staff is kind and welcoming, like family. We stayed in the hotel under the restaurant and it was so beautiful! The room is adorable decorated and everything is clean and well thought out, down to homemade soaps and a complete coffee bar. We will be back and highly recommended staying here!!

everyone is friendly and welcoming. property is very clean and comfortable. Restaurant on property is excellent. restaurant was short staffed but those on duty were fast, efficient and upbeat and the food was outstanding. We had a great time.

No one there to check you in. Called only to be told i was supposed to be called earlier in the day. And someone else would call me. Waited an hour and left. Probably wont see my money back but o well.

The Copperhead Lodge left me stranded! As per the rules of the property, I called the day before I was to check in, since they wouldn't have Front Desk staff on site at the time I was going to arrive, and I would still need to get in. Everytime I called-- the day prior, the morning of my trip, at pit stops -- I got the same voicemail that said they were busy with other customers. All of these calls were placed during their listed Front Desk hours. They never called me back. I had to scramble to find another hotel for that night. I called the Lodge twice the next morning shortkly after their Front Desk hours started and the same. Contacted Expedia and they called them and got no answer. Conveniently, they were able to respond when Expedia was going to force them to refund my money! This hotel is a scam business, and I'm sure they do this to many people. TRAVELER BEWARE!

It was a wonderful experience. The customer service was excellent. I highly recommend Copperhead Lodge to anyone staying in the area!

Wow! This place is a gem! Super comfortable bed, super clean, excellent shower, incredibly friendly staff. This place is amazing. We definitely will return.

The property is gorgeous and my room was cozy. I had difficulty checking in, as it was after hours and no one would answer the phone. I finally found the key to my room in an envelope outside with my name on it. The driveway to the rooms is not marked or lit, so that was a bit confusing as well. I stayed 5 nights and only discovered fresh cups, linens, etc. upon check out. Which was also when I saw a staff member for the first time. The restaurant/lounge is not open, and the rooms do not have microwaves, so I had pb&j for Christmas. Its more like an Air B&B than a resort/lodge. I enjoyed visiting Helen, NC, and TN. And the clean coziness of the room was nice. But it was definitely not what I expected at all. The other guests were a bit loud, and they smoked next to the building (which I could smell). All in all not a terrible experience, but definitely would not stay here alone again as I felt very unsafe with no staff there and the area being so poorly lit.

The staff were amazing and really did great with customer service.

Simply awesome. The restaurant was a plus, didn’t have to go back into town. Food was AMAZING and the rooms were nice. Great staff, beautiful location. Great for bikers. Perfect base to go hit some wineries. Go visit Living Water.

Beautiful setting, economical, near many natural attractions in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Nice, quiet property, surrounded by woods. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay there again. Blairsville is such a charming town. Loved breakfast at G&G Bakery and loaded up with bagels and cranberry muffins prior to heading home. Awesome meal at the Italian restaurant, Michaelee, chocolate crusted chicken salad with balsamic chocolate glaze, their cod was also excellent.

Location was good and the food at the lodge was excellent

What gorgeous place! Not too far from things to do and the drive through the mountains is amazing. The cabin was so beautiful and it had a closed in porch which was so nice to relax on! Not a lot of light pollution so you can see the stars for miles. The cabin was stocked with coffee! We absolutely loved our time there!

Excellent price, comfortable stay, beautiful property grounds! Only suggestion to make is to not close the dining room on Memorial Day.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Copperhead Lodge! It was comfy, clean, and quiet. The restaurant on site, The Flying Trout, was the best we’ve ever eaten. The only downside I would say would be the hours of the restaurant, we wanted to eat there both nights of our stay because of how good it was but they have limited hours and are closed on Sundays. We cannot wait to come back!
