This property did not have a working pool, in fact management mentioned they are considering filling it in, and that they were surprised that Expedia is still advertising an open pool for this property. Our room keys were getting deactivated every evening somehow, so that meant a trip back down to the night desk. The air conditioner breaker was tripped and wasn’t operating when we came in one hot afternoon. All this, combined with the interstate noise, light pollution from the night “sun lamps”, lack of proper window blinds, and constant late night and early morning noise from neighboring guests gave us a disappointing stay at this property. We will look for a better stay experience elsewhere.

The rooms were clean and liveable. The pool was beyond nasty looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The wi-fi was so limited that you might as well not have one. It kept going out so you had to sign in constantly and you still could not pick up basic things over the internet.

Our check in was fast and easy. The young lady was very nice helping us. Our king room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, there was pancakes, scrambled eggs, biscuits, sausage and a few different breads. Juice and coffee also available. Only issue was the pool is closed, good thing it looked horrible. Only half full and water was totally black.

Great facilities. First two rooms had curtains that were falling down. They corrected by giving us another room. The internet was SLOW. Dial-up slow. 4Mbs slow. Even in the lobby it was only 9. Didn't need the internet except to plan our sightseeing and eating. Otherwise, we enjoyed the facility.

Due to HOT Weather we were looking forwardf to the swimming pool. It was not just out of order. It was filthy. green and slimy. Our plans had changed 5 days in advance of travel. we were going to cancel reservations. told we could not. We will not use days inn again.

We were a bit displeased with our recent stay there (4/5-4/8) The pool was closed, according to your worker, for the past year. This was not stated in any of the ads we looked at while making our choice and having the outdoor pool was partly why we chose your location. We felt a bit mislead. Also, the fitness center’s equipment was not functioning properly. The treadmill stopped twice, suddenly, while I was running and I was not able to continue. Had I not been an experienced runner, I could have sustained an injury when the machine stopped suddenly (twice) and without warning. The elliptical machine was not functioning, either. The hotel was reasonably clean and the bedroom, bathroom and bed were all clean and very comfortable. The biggest problem was the smell. A moldy musty smell that starts in the lobby and extends throughout the hotel to our room on the 3rd floor. I found that in the bedroom at least, the smell was strongest in the A/C system, and turning it off reduced the smell somewhat overnight. Fortunately, we were there when the outside temps were reasonable. It would've been better if we could've opened a window, but they are sealed. It's a shame, because otherwise we would have been perfectly content with the hotel. The only other downside was the breakfast was a bit lacking. 2 cereal choices, egg patties that tasted funny, no yogurts even. And the coffee was watered down.

Smelled very musty as soon as you walked into the entrance,after a 16 hour drive that wasn’t inviting. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning was struggling to cool. We didn’t eat the breakfast after we tasted the coffee, not good. In all not a terrible place to stop, it’s pretty clean at least. The man at the desk was very friendly and helpful.

When I walked into my room the was a musty smell. I found hair in my shower and the floor was so dirty that it turned my feet black. I also go bit by some type of bug on my ear. Sleeping was difficult because the a/c was so loud. Wouldn’t recommend.

This was my halfway point on a long drive and it has the basics for a quick overnight stay. The room was right by the elevator which was not ideal. You can hear the elevator which also means you hear the people waiting for it. The shower drain didn’t work and the curtain doesn’t slide all the way so water was getting out.

Liked that it is located right off the highway, but you can hear the traffic being this close. The air-conditioning was extremely loud, noisy and had some rattling noise thst never eased up.

When we arrived Kevin greeted us and from right there I knew this was going to be a wonderful stay. He was funny, kind, happy and went above and beyond to be helpful! Great job! The lobby was very clean and new looking. We went up to our room and it was very clean and comfortable. I love the clean lines and simplicity of the room. No need to have heavy curtains and comforters. Bed was very comfortable. Came down next day and ate breakfast. My husband loved it. The pancake maker is the best! Thank you for a lovely stay. We told friends at Hilton head and they will be coming there on their way to the beach! Also try the restaurant beside the hotel. Not sure of name but home cooking country kitchen. Has delicious buffet on Fridays for 19.95. Sounds high but you get almost everything off their menu. And dessert.

We booked this room with 4 adults and 1 child. Our mistake to assume that there would be a cot or roll away bed as the room states it sleeps this many. When we asked about a cot, the First Lady was very nice and said she would pass along our complaint to the manager. Upon speaking with the person at the front desk this morning, the woman was very rude and said she didn’t care and said then don’t stay here than (The one who worked 11pm-7am) Very very rude. Also our toilet was plugged and we were handed a plunger to plunge it.

We were at this hotel during Helene. While we do not blame the hotel for a power outage, we do feel they should have been better prepared. We checked in Tuesday night and immediately asked about their hurricane plan. The person at the desk shared that they didn’t expect anything severe but they had a generator that would kick in if the power went out. She indicated that the only thing we would lose would be wi-fi. The following night, as the storm got closer, we were told at the front desk that they had flashlights for everyone. By Friday morning, there was no power and no generator had kicked in/ I went down to ask for a flashlight and was told they didn’t have flashlights. I later went down and talked to a manager, asking him about the generator. I told him what we were told. His response was, “nobody told you that.” He then shared that there is no generator. The hotel lacked in upkeep with peeling paint and wallpaper. The breakfast was limited, but fine. However, the staff being untruthful or misinformed, then the manager accusing me of lying, led to this review. Poor customer service indeed

The hotel was great. Check in and check out was very easy. Room was clean. Will definitely stay there again. Griffin was incredible and made sure me and my guests had an incredible stay. He was very helpful the entire time. We would definitely stay here again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Easy to find. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Cyndy at the front desk. She was beyond amazing! She was very personable, informative, kind, and very helpful. She took time to circle places on a map of places she thought we’d like to see. She gave great suggestions for restaurants as well. Huge shout out to her for going over and above in helping us. ALL of the front desk personnel were amazing! By far, the best I’ve ever experienced! The room was clean, bed comfy, and a nice place to stay. I wish all hotels were as great as this one! Well done! Thanks for an awesome experience!

Would have had a much better rating if it wasn’t for the broken plug left in the wall leaving a live current exposed. Our 4 year old missed it by an inch and the hotel did nothing to remedy it.

Pool was not open. Dismal breakfast, you're better to go next door to Wendy's or the gas station. No coffee pot in room... really?!? For almost 200 a night, I would've expected way better. Lesson learned, never again.

The price was right. The location was a bit sketchy. The hotel had a noticeable mildew smell, almost like there was an indoor pool. But the only pool on the property was an outdoor pool and it was filled in. The breakfast was suitable, but the coffee was hideous.Room was clean & spacious. Suitable for 1 or 2 nights.

The room was for our one night stay on our way to Florida. but the fridge did not work, there were hairs from previous guests all over the bathroom, and the breakfast could have been better stocked. The Raisin Bran tasted like it had expired last year, and once some of the other items ran out about 8:30, they would not refill anything because breakfast was ending at 9. It was not worth $160 per night.
