One day f the best hotels to n Savahna, feels like home. Staff is amazing, rooms are quite really comfortable bed, very spacious room with all you need. 3pm they serve te, coffee and cookies, mornings at 7 am coffee and breakfast at 7:30. Locations is amazing away from main river street and crowds. Only 19 rooms with the best service you can expect. No elevator you don’t need it, pet friendly. We will come back. Enjoyed our stay and we value how much heart and soul this place brings to guests.

This is a beautiful historic property. The common areas are well appointed and feel like old luxury. The breakfast is an event. The staff are so warm, personable and accommodating. Be prepared for charm, ambiance, and a few less conveniences than a modern hotel. Stairs are a part of the experience, as are some drafts and old plumbing.

Innkeeper, Chuck, was welcoming and very knowledgeable about the wonderful city of Savannah. The breakfast was delicious with many dishes to choose from. Faith, the Housekeeper kept the B and B in excellent condition with a friendly and warm smile. Our only complaint was the “Rainforest shower head”. It was impossible to get a relaxing shower. We would stay again.

The Foley House Inn was a great place to stay. The place is in the heart of the historic district, easy walking to many places. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the third floor, no elevator, but we had a balcony that overlooked the square. The room was very clean and spacious. The Inn is very old with decor of a time past. Sitting there in the room or the balcony you can just imagine what life was like 100 plus years ago. We had a fantastic time and will stay at the Foley House on our next visit to Savannah.

Coming to Savannah for the 1st time, wanted a safe place, boutique/bed & breakfast type. This hotel was juat the right match!! Shout out to the front desk, all that I met: Deedee, Lesley, and Faith. Who went out of their way with service. I was on the 1st floor, room was substantial, very comfortable and quiet. Perfect for our anniversary get away. Breakfast was perfect ( quiche, yogurt, sausage, juice). Afternoon cookies and tea. Garden area where you can sit at night. Can I give 5 🌟 catty corner to Juliet Lowe's birthplace, convenient area, easy walk to sites and plenty of eateries. Parking on the street was $12/ day.

Oldest B&B in Savannah! Very nice! Staff was great! Room was spacious and comfortable. Each floor has a shared balcony. Good continental breakfast. Location is perfect for walking around Savannah. Easy parking on the street behind the inn.

Excellent location! On the “Forrest Gump” square, convenient to shopping, restaurants, bars, and the river. Many walking tour options right out of the front door. Parking is scarce, and $12 a day. Would definitely come back again!

We looked forward to this well recommended inn in Savannah for an overnight on our way back home. The main objection is the lack of ramp or elevator for those who need accessible accommodations. This needs to be largely stated on all information! My husband recently had knee surgery and having to navigate two full flights of stairs definitely put a damper on this stay! I asked for a room change to a lower level (though we would still need to navigate the stairs in and a full flight to rooms), and was told that they were fully booked. We did have a staff member take our baggage up the flights of stairs for us, and this morning we got them down on our own - not a problem for me but tricky for my husband. I noticed a more senior population at this inn so I feel sure others were also surprised. My strong advice is to proclaim LARGELY on all reservation info that there are no elevators. Had we read all of the fine print on the app we used, we might have seen it, but we didn’t and it definitely put a damper on our stay.

This is a historic hotel - voted top four bed breakfast places in the US, but the cleanliness level is a bit prehistoric. The bathroom tiles are cracked, exposed junction boxes in the bathroom, floor and shower area full of previous guests body hair and to top it - a large and very dead cockroach. Aside from that and a very annoying jutting out bed corner that continually attacked your ankles and the ok breakfast, the hotel was ‘different’. Artwork was impressive. If only they had such taste in their breakfast and maintenance of the decor.

My husband and I loved our visit to Foley House Inn. The staff were fabulous - helpful, cheerful, and welcoming. The breakfasts were amazing and served in the charming Victorian style parlor and dining room. The location on Chippewa Square could not be better. The Inn accommodations suited us well as we could manage the flights of steps to our room (there is no elevator). The room was charming and spacious. The whole Inn might do with a bit of sprucing up (carpet cleaning), but otherwise clean. I would like to see the artwork in the main areas better curated to reflect the Victorian era. Even given that, we would definitely come back to stay!!

The location is amazing! It's within walking distance of everywhere in downtown Savannah and we thoroughly enjoyed walking around the squares. The hotel itself is charming and the staff is very friendly. That being said, this is a historical site and, as with any older building, there are repairs that need to be made. We stayed in one of the outer rooms and it had a very strong mildew smell. The reason why became apparent after a hard rain - a large leak came in from the ceiling and window. Overall, this is a charming site, but it could use some repairs, at least in the outer rooms.

The room was very clean, with new towels and trash pickup every day. The breakfast was great: yogurt with fruit and granola, eggs, bacon, and a few others things. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the stairs are certainly a lot but the bed was comfortable and the noise was minimal. Parking is paid ($1.00 per hour) but is free from 8PM to 8AM!!! The courtyard is nice as well.

Giving the fact that the rooms are almost $300.00 per night, the condition of the room we had was not good, first night no hot water, even after the issue was fixed the shower barely trickled, was not able to wash hair, the bed linen are Motel 6 quality, the room we stayed in (Carriage House) needs a complete remodel, we understand that the Hotel itself is old, but we stayed in very old hotels before (Paris) and they are nicely remodeled with modern comforts, the location of the hotel however is excellent

This was one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed! Every single person I met who worked here was incredibly kind and helpful. The food is just as amazing as all of the other reviews say it is. Everything is clean. The decor is gorgeous. I cannot recommend this place enough!

This place is an older B&B with a lot of character and a very nice staff. It is an older property with a lot of charm and I really enjoyed my stay here. Had a large room in a carriage house and it was really nice. The breakfast in the morning was nice and the common area feels like an old Savannah style home. They also surprisingly have very excellent wifi, though the TV was only setup for streaming. Wasn't a big deal for me but something to note. PROS: Staff is very nice and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Rooms have a lot of charm and character. Geared more towards couples vs people with small kids in my opinion. Close to activities to walk to but far enough away to be quiet and get some rest. CONS: If you have a car not sure about parking but I did not so not a big deal.

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 night stay at Foley House Inn. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was surprisingly tasty. Our room, 102, was directly below the breakfast area, so we were awoken by the sound of foot traffic around 6:30am both mornings, which was immediately followed by the sounds of school children at the adjacent school, so there was no hope of going back to sleep. It wasn't a deal breaker for us, but it is something to consider. I would probably select a different room when booking again, though I suspect hearing other guests and outside noises is not unique to the lower floor. The room and bed were very comfortable and the location was great. Overall we had a lovely time, and highly recommend visiting Savannah, especially in Spring. :)

We really enjoyed our romantic, spooky get away weekend staying at this inn. It was perfect location for walking to everything. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was perfect (shower pressure and temp was fantastic). We felt safe and comfortable while staying here, you will get a code to get in and out of the inn (front and back). My suggestion is parking somewhere along the street and walk everywhere or use Savannah transportation. We parked and left our car there all weekend. It was super easy to download the parking app and pay for your spot (we just paid for 8a-8p) each day (parking is free overnight and on sundays) we didn’t try the breakfast or wine offering only because we had so much planned elsewhere. I didn’t want to leave!! Thank you to the wonderful staff.

This place is EXACTLY what we were looking for. All the charm and perfect location of Old Savannah mixed with the modern conveniences of a great hotel. The furnishings were beautiful in our room (101)! The bathroom was excellent with a strong, hot shower

Stay was great the first two nights, but the 3rd night a resident kicked in the houses front door because they were locked out. This was at 2am. 4 cop cars and an hour plus later things finally settled down. Our room was directly under the front door and incident was very disturbing. Our security was highly jeopardized. The next morning, the staff wasn't even briefed about the incident. I knew more than the front desk staff. This was the most disturbing part of all.

I had a wonderful time here. I am gluten free, and the staff made a trip to the store to make me a special breakfast. The room was quiet, clean, and full of unique touches. The staff was incredibly kind. And just a 4 minute walk to the shops and bars. True, there was no designated parking, but I went on St Patrick’s weekend and had no trouble finding a descent spot.

Wonderful stay here! This is exactly the type of accommodation you want when staying in Savannah. Thoughtful decor, historic feel, and unique touches for each room. Chuck was the gentleman who helped us upon check-in and was extremely kind, showed us around the property, and was wonderful to chat with. Would 100% recommend staying here

Everyone was so accommodating and friendly! We loved the room, the bed was comfy, the air was perfect, and the breakfast was so tasty! The manager Jim was so kind and helped my husband and I so much. We also ADORED DeeDee, she is the most beautiful and kind Inn Queen ever! We will most definitely be coming back.

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left everyone was so welcoming and made us feel so at home. Dede is an angel and was constantly at it working. Our room was clean and oh so nice. Breakfast was perfect. Great coffee and fresh fruit and eggs, bacon, sausage and fresh muffins.The small courtyards are the perfect spot to return from your day and just relax. Location was super cool. Across from the park from the scenes from Forest Gump. I was determined to check off all the square in Savannah. Can’t wait to return.

Perfect location in the exact center of the Historic District. Every attraction is found in a ten minute stroll in any direction. Spacious, comfy rooms, friendly staffers Jim & Dee Dee and a hearty breakfast buffet each morning. We loved our stay.

Beautiful bed and breakfast in the perfect spot in Savannah! Close enough to city market and river walk for walking and far enough away to not have the noise from the night life. 1 block from a trolley stop and across from a square. Highly recommend!

This location is PERFECT - it's in a beautiful section of the historic district but NOT in the busy noisy area along the riverfront but walking distance to the riverfront. No parking lot provided but meter street parking is easy on the app and only $1.00 an hour and free between 8pm and 8am. Staff are wonderful and the Inn is as charming and clean as the pictures. Definitely coming back to Foley House Inn

The Foley House Inn was a great place to stay. The place is in the heart of the historic district, easy walking to many places. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the third floor, no elevator, but we had a balcony that overlooked the square. The room was very clean and spacious. The Inn is very old with decor of a time past. Sitting there in the room or the balcony you can just imagine what life was like 100 plus years ago. We had a fantastic time and will stay at the Foley House on our next visit to Savannah.

Excellent location! On the “Forrest Gump” square, convenient to shopping, restaurants, bars, and the river. Many walking tour options right out of the front door. Parking is scarce, and $12 a day. Would definitely come back again!

My wife and I stayed one night at the Foley House on our journey down the coast. The B&B is right in the historic section so we found it very convenient and a beautiful area. The room and facilities were clean and comfortable, however, we were very disappointed in the lack of breakfast options, especially with this being a B&B. . Coffee, yogurt and a few sugary pastries were not sufficient, and we left hungry. The hotel is not set up or staffed for a full breakfast but offering some fresh fruit or even toast with fresh jams would have made the experience more enjoyable.

So happy we stumbled upon this lovely Inn. Fantastic location. The staff was so kind and helpful and the bed was absolutely a dream beautiful park steps away from the property had dinner at the Collins quarters, which was excellent. We would highly recommend. The only suggestion would be to elevate the breakfast options… and added a little more to the buffet. We would absolutely come back and stay again thank you.

We had such a wonderful time staying here. The Inn is absolutely adorable and is in a prime location. The staff were tremendous in welcoming us and making us feel at home. The continental breakfast was a treat. The only negative was that the plumbing/toilets were problematic and unreliable. The staff was super responsive in addressing the issues and offering alternatives, and candidly, this is just the nature of older buildings. Would absolutely stay again.
