My go to for flying in and out multiple times per year. There's not enough places to park, really the building is slightly run down. But I keep staying at this place because the staff are so nice, every time and that's why I go back. I hope this company appreciates it. Plus I went to the Pink concert and they gave us a ride, (for extra) but still a nice perk. This one has a gas station with a Convenience store across the street and a restaurant in walking distance. If you have an early morning flight this is the closest hotel for you.

Hotel was clean overall. Bathrooms and rooms were clean. The pool was my only real issue. There was so much chlorine that my whole group of family eyes were burning. And my children were coughing just being in the pool room. We ended up not swimming much even though the pool/hot tub was a big part of why we booked this hotel. Other than that, rooms were clean and service was great. Maybe just ease up on the chlorine!

Hot tub not working, pool was warm which was appreciated but heavily chloride in it. Bathroom needed new silicone around tub and painted in areas. Beds were comfortable and location was close to Creighton U, which was great

The room was ok, needed a few upgrades or fixes in the shower and such but workable. The chemicals in the pool were way off, left our skin very dry and ruined my wifes swimsuit.

The hotel was fine. Our problems were with transportation from the airport to the hotel to get our vehicle. We called as soon as we arrived and were told the shuttle would be there in 10 minutes. 3 phone calls and 45 minutes later in the cold wind, we finally gave up and got a cab. Don't advertise a service if you aren't going to provide it.

We enjoyed our stay, but were very upset when the pool unexpectedly closed on the first day of our visit and never reopened. We had 6 children and 2 mothers that were sorely disappointed that they were not able to end their fun and exciting days with some fun in the pool. The gas station across the street was also a very noisy establishment at all hours of the night, which was frustrating when you are trying to sleep. The guestroom bathrooms could also use some updating, fixing and cleaning.

The rooms were clean but smelled musty and the bathroom ceiling was covered with black mold and there was also black mold in the corners of the bathtub and on the floor in bathroom. Carpets were dirty enough they turned my feet black. Room just felt damp. Front desk was very friendly. Not enough parking so we had to park in another hotel parking lot. Beds comfy but rooms definitely need some help with the mold and musty smell.

We checked into our room and heard mice. There was a sticky trap in the closet with a live mouse on it. And then we found another sticky trap next to the refrigerator with two more live mice. I refused to stay there and the employee working at the front desk had no contact for a manager so we could try and resolve this issue. Overall the whole experience was horrible. We ended up having to pay for a room at a different hotel. So I paid for two different rooms and would sure like to think I could get refunded for my stay at best western and possibly pay for the room we rented where we ended up staying. If someone would like to contact me 641-745-0953. I would greatly appreciate it.

Pros: The breakfast was very good with an updated, very clean, spacious and attractive eating area. The room was also very clean and the bed was comfortable. Cons: The air filter in the room air conditioner needed cleaning as it was emitting a musty smell. The bathroom was a little shabby. The room needed painting, and the water control for the tub/shower, although operable, was very loose and had by pulled away from the wall.

Overall, just an okay place if you need somewhere convenient to the airport to lay your head down. I don’t know if I missed somewhere that there were smoking rooms on the property, or perhaps a previous guest smoked in the room when they shouldn’t have but the room, the bathroom, the linens, everything reeked of stale cigarette smoke. I wasn’t super impressed.

After an 11 hour day of travel, we were looking forward to a good night's rest. Checked in just before midnight and crashed. We were awoken at 7:30 am by housekeeping barging into the room unannounced. Upon becoming aware of each others presence, she apologized and left. Trying to return to sleep, our efforts were once again stifled by the room phone ringing. By the time I was able to reach the phone, there was no one there. Again, our attempt to return to sleep was interrupted by a loud and angry knock on the door! My wife answered the door and was interrogated by the front desk clerk as to who we were and why were we in that room. It seems the clerk that checked us in, assigned us to the wrong room. No apologies, no offer to compensate us for our trouble. Thanks BWP Carter Lake, now we know where NOT to stay next time.

Well, I did not like that. The staff was not helpful within my situation. I also don’t like that the staff couldn’t provide me with the general manager’s name or email to contact, especially I was visiting and don’t live in the area. Also the bathroom sink the water didn’t go down as well as The tub. I also found it on that I was hearing water leaking when I was taking the elevator and I was kind of scared because it’s electric and it was not taken care of at all. Overall, the staff is not knowledgeable of any type of information and we do not like to disclose their titles meaning that if they are a manager or not, but then later within conversation, they do so

Every employee we met were outstanding. Room was great, and free parking for the time we were gone. Shuttle was prompt and friendly. I’m planning on staying here for every future airline travel. I have been to other hotels in the area, and this one is hands down the best bang for the buck.

Best Western isn't a great hotel chain. I remember now why I don't stay in them. Admittedly I chose this hotel based on price for the evening, but in hindsight I should have spent more for a better stay. This best western is no worse than other best westerns that I've stayed at - which is to say. . . poor compared with a marriott courtyard or others that would seem that maybe they are somewhere in the same zone. The one guy working the desk (seemingly from the time that I arrived until I left at 5am) was the the only staff person that I saw. He was very nice, but the facility needs work. It's a not great hotel in a not great neighborhood with lots of strange stuff happening at the large gas station across the street including some potentially unstable people with threatening behaviors. I'll skip it next time.

I’ve been staying at Best Westerns for decades because in general they are a bit more comfortable, clean, and quiet. Breakfast is usually very good. In this case, there was no hot breakfast, only a few measly apples for fruit, no oatmeal, and no breakfast service staff. The room definitely needed a refresh and there was dark mold around the edge of the tub. A very noisy party was going on down the hallway. Disappointed? Very. I would have been better off at Motel 6.

We were able to check in early. They were able accommodate a “close to an exit” request. The room was spacious and very comfortable! Each bed had four pillows which was great! Breakfast was amazing with a lot of choices. Loved the pancakes!! There were homeless people at the front of the property but no one bothered us.

Bed has small square pillows- hard to stay comfortable sleeping, bed comforter was ripped- esthetic was in pleasant. Breakfast was okay eggs were not very warm- yogurt- cereal, pancakes options sausage was not very warm either they need to turn up the roasters or put them in eailer.

Room was clean but worn, especially in the bathroom. Ceiling texture peeling, chipped paint. Hot tub was broken. Employees were all very friendly and helpful. There was no hot breakfast the day I was there, just cereal and pre-packaged pastries.
