Super 8 By Wyndham Omaha Eppley Airport/Carter Lake

It was convenient to the airport with long term parking and a shuttle ride to the airport. The neighbors were a little loud with their discussions in the hallway and the walls were thin between the connecting rooms. Half the lights in the room didn't work, but we were only there for the night.

I woke up with bites and red spots on my face and hands. Not good. No free shuttle at 4am. My flight boared at 430am. Told the guy at desk.

We always stay here when we have an early flight since it is so close to the airport. We are probably going to search other hotels in the area after our last stay. Room was dirty, bathroom was dirty and the blankets on the bed consisted of a sheet and a light bed cover. There was a hand written sign in the room to not leave your dirty linen in the hall? And there was a hand written sign on the front door that the pool was closed due to maintenance. I'm pretty sure it's the same sign that was posted back in February! Love the low cost but this hotel is just gross anymore!

Owner is amazing. This hotel has breakfast and airport shuttle.

The hotel was in sad condition pool broke down, all vending machines were out of order,black mold on shower curtain, probably won’t stay at another super 8

The front desk girl was very nice to talk with, did her job very well, and helped me decide on where to dine. The pool was down, but that is the usual for me when I travel. The shuttle service was also very handy and courtious too.

I read other poor reports and I have stayed at this property before so could not understand the bad reports. Property is not state of the art but my room was clean, linen and towels were good and I got breakfast and a shuttle to the airport. Good value. some cleaning needed in communal areas but very suitable to my purposes of a shower and a bed after 28hr international flight.

This is definately an older hotel. Disappointed in that a pool was listed in the amenities, but no pool was available due to repair. Also, ATM machine was down. Items for breakfast were limited so looked to eat out both mornings there. Last day prior to leaving, l went to get a waffle, but the batter was out. I went to the front desk, and no worker could be found. I waited about 5 minutes and then got my boys and headed to the Perkins. Room was small, but beds were comfortable. Room was nice and cold. No microway, coffee maker, or fridge in the room. Carpets need a deep cleaning as well as bathroom floors. Staff was friendly.

Left because room was filthy, dirty bathroom, trash in bed, sheets dirty. Booked as nonrefundable and hotels.com cannot get refund from hotel. Had to pay to stay elsewhere. Bedbug shell on floor.

1st room shower didn't work, moved to only available room and sink didn't work. It was so dirty, hair all over shower, bathroom floor, counters, sink, mirror was nasty.

Got a room on the second floor and around midnight woke up itching so badly because I'd been bit by bed bugs. They gave me another room on the first floor and the same thing happened there.

Bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned for weeks. Top of sink and top of toilet bowel were gross. Also was going to use public bathroom and it was many times worse. Plus no toilet paper or paper towels. Will not stay there again.

The bathroom was filthy. A spot of poop on the floor. It ha been a while since the floor in the room had been cleaned. No blanket on one of the beds. 90 percent sure the heavy smoke in the hallway was from someone smoking pot. We will never stay again.

Very dirty hotel. The hallways and staircases haven’t been vacuumed in a long time. The bathroom floor was filthy.

The whole place was filthy. There were hardly any choices for breakfast and only one pot of coffee that was gone by 6am. Staff was not pleasant and didn't seem to care. The only good thing I can say is it was a short drive to the airport. I will not be staying here again.

Filthy... roaches in shower. Noisy. I'm pretty sure this is the local short term flop house.

Found bed bugs on the room number 107 then i was transfer to 131 and same thing had bugs in it

The room was not cleaned carpet was old and dirty the sheets were stained. At least I hoped they were stained and not dirty. I was exhausted and did not want to cause a Fuss.

Old school motel desperately needs a modern renovation.

You get what you pay for. 1 bed mattress was sunk in. Holes in the bedspread and missing the flat sheet. Neither of the lights beside the beds worked. The lobby floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in days and everything looked dingy. Staff was nice.

We were stuck after missing our flight during the baseball world series in Omaha. Went to Hotels.com as usual. All of the hotels jacked up their rates for that event including this 'super 8'. I had heard that Super 8s had overall upgraded so figured it couldn't be SO bad, even at a RIDICULOUS $349 rate for 2. I used ALL of my hard earned $93 to get down to $243 total. The hallway was dirty, the room floor was dirty, the buttons on the AC couldn't be read so had no idea how to adjust temp. The TV didn't work. We were told as soon as their 'engineer' came back, he would fix it. When we returned from dinner, it wasn't fixed. 3 of the 4 lamps didn't work. The TP holders couldn't hold a roll. There was only 1 facecloth. The toilet had pink mold growing. The sheets had numerous cigarette holes. The fire extinguisher was non existent. I doubt the sprinklers worked from the looks of them. Initially, when we told the front desk about the TV, we were offered another room but it was upstairs and with the luggage we had and the late hour, we didn't have much hope the rest of the place would be significantly better. The next morning, we NICELY informed the 'manager' (not sure he was) was VERY rude and said 'if you had come 10 minutes after you came and asked for another room, we would have made an adjustment but you've already stayed overnight so no". We told him the rate was ridiculous, and he countered that 'it's because of the baseball series..everyone has raised rates'

It was a quick sleeping place before early flight. Hand written signs made first impression on the front doors seem less inspiring to enter for first impressions. Shuttle service didn’t start in time to use as informed, lights on the room wall didn’t work. Beds needed updating and curtains were missing hooks. Check in process was ok. For the few hours we were there, it was ‘ok’ but wouldn’t use if spending the weekend.

Staff was good, professional & courtous, grounds outside kept pretty clean but inside was dirty. Carpets filthy, walls dirty and generally speaking was in need of a good cleaning. The room was clean at first glance but beware, the longer you look the more ick you see. The AC fan was permanently set at one speed so it took a long time to cool the room. I would recommend IF your looking for a cheap stay and cleanliness is a non issue. Price for night 1 person cheapest around the airport.

The Motel needs updating

Carpet dirty, tv not hooked up. Requested floor level if no elevator. Big trouble with stairs! No batteries in remote. Beds were ok. Hard to communicate with young girl at counter. We were a late arrival, but they showed no compassion at all. Will never be back to this place.

Didn't even get to stay there this night, stayed Friday night. No problem, but Saturday they decided they wanted to charge a 150 deposit. I've stayed here many many times and have never been charged. Got into disagreement with front desk staff and was told to leave or they were calling the police. So I didn't get to stay and they kept the 83 dollars I paid for the room!!! Would not recommend going there

We requested a room for 5. Upon check-in we found they could not. When I asked I was told they could not accommodate us - I asked for a refund because we would need to find other accommodation. Was told they would not and the refund would have to come from Expedia. The hotel clerk was extremely rude

Manager at night was very rude an there is bed bugs really bed at the hotel even in the lobby couches

The only thing that wasn’t already in the room were the towels. We went to front desk and they were very nice about giving us towels. Not really a problem . The staff are really nice. Should have fruit or yogurt for breakfast. Breakfast could be bumped up a notch. Otherwise everything good. Thank you

The staff made up for the condition of the place..

Due to timing of flight arrived at the facility and the concierge indicated that my reservation didn’t start until 3 PM even though I had arrived after midnight and needed a place to stay that eve that day until morning they did help me out, but was initially rather rude

The staff was trying to put me out the room and call the police when o did not check out until Monday. I was there Friday may 16th. I still have not got my $100 deposit back yet. When you call the number they have online it does not go to the front desk.

Tv didn't work, remote didn't work, key card didn't work 3x needed replacedover and over, clerks at desk took long time to check in people, then fire alarm went off due to smoke detector in someone's room and it wouldn't shut off the alarm. I tried to get a refund but the manager there at night was not helpful. He lied to me that it was refunded... it was in fact not, cause he didn't do a thing on the computer. Good thing i asked for the receipt (he wrote on there "refund" but didn't actually do anything) and called travelocity to get it refunded.

Building is rundown. Walked into my room with a mildew like smell. Bathtub half filled with water in which I didn't want to stick my hand in to see if it was just the plug. Didnt have any towels. Trash all over this part of town.

This motel is a disgrace to the name Travelocity and the name Wyndham. The drapes had holes that they clamped together with a paper clip. Drapes falling off the walls. Cars doing short-term parking outside my window all night. Loud music all night. Water barely trickled. No amenities in the room. No Phone to call the desk. we had previously used this location for 35 years, Never again!!! We were told the area is the drug district of Omaha and Council Bluffs.

Close to the Airport ! In a seedy area of town . The placwe is filthy needs to be totally updated or the city needs to close you down for being filthy!

Front desk was not available for 20 min but got in after midnight, was courteous after coming out to greet me, very convienient for airort

Seemed to be a lot of random people just wandering the area near by. I would never stay there in my own. Wouldn’t feel safe.

The place was pretty run down, the bed coverings were well used and tattered, for the money we will stay at another location close to the airport next time. Bed frame squeaked very loud every time I turned in bed at night. Skipped the breakfast.

No cereal out at breakfast, bot juice dispensers were empty.

The bathroom needed a refresh. Sink facet was hard to turn on; shower faucet felt like it might fall off the wall. No refrigerator in room. Free breakfast was skimpy. BUT it was convenient to our destination and less expensive than most in the area. We spent very little time there, so it was GOOD Enough.
