I hate having to pay for parking if I’m already paying for a room. I understand the hotel is near an airport and they are try to get every penny they can but why isn’t a parking space part of what I’m paying for.

If it weren’t so far from where I needed to be, I would easily stay here for all of my trips. It had everything I needed including a gym and full sized refrigerator and parking was amazing! I highly recommend this place!

Nice room, with fully stocked kitchen, microwave, full size refrigerator, coffee maker, dishwasher. Had desk and recliner. As we were only there one night due to a cancelled air flight, would have appreciated a breakfast option. Close to airport with free shuttle!

Very nice, was surprised to have to pay for parking during my stay but whatever. I appreciated the 24 hr shuttle. Nice little store to buy snacks and drinks but a little pricey so bring your own. No pool.

Their airport shuttle was easy to miss because it is contracted through "Park N' Jet". It says park n jet in large advertisement on the shuttle but the Sonesta logo is really small. I missed the shuttle several times and was waiting for 45 minutes. They did send an email saying to use the park n jet shuttle, but they should have a bigger logo and a more dedicated shuttle. The guy working the desk was really nice and they were responsive when I called to ask about the shuttle.

The suite was extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchenette had all the necessary equipment for a longer stay. The free airport shuttle was very nice and the deciding factor.

The property smelled like smoke especially the rooms, was changed to another room and still had the same issues. Sheets and pillows were dirty and had stains and hair .. gross.

Check in was fine.Staff were courteous.The elevator was dirty,the hallway carpet is dirty .We had to move to another room because the first room had not been swept, vacuumed,or or wiped down.The couch had either spit or some other body fluid it.I called the desk and they offered another room which was actually worse that the first one .Had a dirty sheet on the sofa bed and so much food and crap under the mattress it was awful but after complaining they sent a cleaning lady to clean the room and my husband asked her if she would want her child sleeping on that couch she replied no not at all. Our room would not get cooler than 76 degrees and we had no hot water for showers.Worst hotel as far as cleanliness I have ever got off Expedia.The staff did try to make it better to the best of their ability but hotel is a dump and definitely does not match the ratings it gets on Expedia.

The hotel lobby and rooms have a very strong odor that settled into our clothes and nose even after we left. Hotel is very run down and old and needs an update. Hallway to rooms had what appeared to be dried white paint on rugs but honestly it might have been something else. Bed sheets did appear clean and bed was comfortable. No trash can in bathroom only in kitchenette area. Unless you REALLY to save money, then I would skip this one!

My toilet seat wasn’t clean. I wiped it with a paper towel when I looked dirty and the paper towel was black. This morning when I packed up, there was a bed bug coming out of the outlet above the desk. Don’t stay here.

The airport shuttle was great, very prompt. The hotel itself felt very dirty, the hallways smelled like weed, cigarettes and cheap cologne to cover up the previous two. The elevator was disgusting with spit on the floor. I only had to stay for one night because of a layover but there’s no way I’d stay for more. My door looked like the police had to open it with a battering ram. Very sketchy place

I stayed in room #218. The room’s floor was very dirty. It looked like it had not been swept. My family and I stayed in this room because we had an early flight. We checked in around 9:00pm and checked out around 2:465 am. Our socks were filthy. Embarrassing to walk through TSA. The toilet was also very loud after you flush. Over all, I would stay here again. Please sweep and mop. A carpet shampoo every so often would be great.

Room smelled, bedding was stained, pillows were flat, shower was broken, a/c switch didn’t work stayed 74 degrees and dish-ware stunk. Only good thing about my stay was the front desk lady.

We arrived later in the evening. The staff was super friendly and quick to help. The room was spacious and clean. Wish we could have stayed longer. Shuttle service was quick, friendly and very helpful loading the luggage.

The name almost describes the property well. It's a budget hotel. The rooms are comfortable, though it is a stretch to call a 'studio suite' a suite. Beyond vending machines and an airport shuttle there aren't any visible amenities. Sound proofing is so-so. The staff are friendly.

To start there was a hidden parking fee of $13 a day, the room was dusty, the chair recliner did not work, and ripped. You would think Simply Suites being part of Sonesta would update their old televisions especially how cheap they are now. You are better off staying in a Motel 6 for half the price.

I stayed in a one-bedroom suite at the Sonesta Simply Suites Chicago O'Hare Airport. My flight was postponed by a day so I was simply looking for a place to stay for about 18 hours until my next flight. The room had a lot of features that would have been handy for a long stay, including a kitchen with a dishwasher and a large frige with an icemaker. There was a huge desk that doubled as a table for the kitchen. There was a somewhat-comfortable sofa and a pretty comfortable recliner in the living room, along with a tv that was adequate but just got basic cable channels. It was fine. I watched a lot of Shark Tank. The bed was comforable and the water pressure in the shower was awesome. The linens were clean and there were plenty of towels. The living room furniture was all somewhat run-down, but it was comfortable enough. In the morning, I just went downstairs (at 4:30) and they immediately called their shuttle. I arrived in plenty of time for my flight. All in all, it was a decent place to stay and I would stay there again if I needed a last-minute place.

Asas Muzmeli has a very bad attitude he didn’t accept my credit cards for the incidentals, he denied to get my room even it was paid. I stayed all the night at the lobby.

The front desk manager was absolutely insane. She actually made up a fictious story which forced my 84 year old uncle to move out of the property during a snow storm. I have never been treated this poorly by any hotel staff in all of my travels. Stay clear of this property unless they decide to terminate this woman that works at the front desk during the day.

I booked a room at this hotel through Hotels.com, selecting the option to pay directly upon arrival. However, when I arrived around 10:00 p.m., I was told that my reservation had been canceled because they had tried to charge the card I left as a guarantee and the payment didn’t go through. This is unacceptable, as the confirmation clearly stated payment at the hotel. The service was poor: no alternatives or assistance were offered, and I was simply told to find another hotel since they were already fully booked. Solving this issue at that time of night, with an early morning flight the next day, was extremely inconvenient. Fortunately, I found availability at a nearby Holiday Inn Express where I received professional and reliable service. To make matters worse, while waiting, I witnessed another guest being given a similar excuse and also being denied her reservation. This shows a systemic problem in how reservations are managed and a clear lack of commitment to the customer. Conclusion: a very negative experience. The hotel does not honor confirmed reservations and offers no solutions when problems arise. I do not recommend it.

I booked this hotel for an employee that was stranded at Chicago Ohare due to a storm. I bought and paid for room on Expedia. The hotel clerk was extremely hard to understand on where to meet airport shuttle. When my employee got to the hotel, the staff demanded an additional $150 security deposit for just one night. One night in a room that only cost $100. We are used to $25 to $30 but $150 is a bit extreme especially when that is not disclosed on Expedia before you book the room. To make matters worse, the desk clerk demanded the card used for the security deposit to be present so i had to transfer the money to the employee so he could get to his room to go to bed. Shame on them for not disclosing then extremely rude for the way he talked to us while we were figuring out how to even get it to him.

This was an ok stay overall. I stayed for 3 days for a workshop and it was in the city so distance between hotel and convention was far. We are talking 40-45 minutes by uber depending on traffic to the city. The kitchen section in my suite was clean. The only thing I couldn’t get past the smell of the room. Poor upkeep on the mop head/or cleaning cloths. Whatever was used to clean the floor really had a terrible odor. There is not much around this hotel other than a gas station. So I would make sure to have a rental to drive if you are planning to stay here. Shuttle service from airport and hotel vise verse was on point and hassle free! 12 minutes away from airport can’t be that.

Never stay here! No restaurant or nearby restaurant. Only food available is highly processed crappy food that costs a fortune. You have to scan it yourself to buy it and scanner for most items doesn’t work, which means you must ask for help from wonderful receptionist who is helping other customers check in. Rugs in hallways, stained with in-ground dirt. Skip this place.

Room was very clean and spacious.. a small fee for parking ($10 bucks) thats not to bad compared to other hotels in the area. No breakfast.. Two doors down is a gas station convenient store, dunkin, and a subway. Free airport shuttle.. we had a rental and traveled downtown at least twice during our stay. The traffic is horrible!! I wouldnt recommend this hotel if u need to travel back and forth downtown.. if you plan to stay in the area, this hotel is perfect! I would recommend and stay here again..

I liked the food options in the lobby! Also, I really loved that they offer dog treats and that they allow pets to stay! Highly recommended and will definitely be coming back!
