The staff is great. The hotel is not. We booked two rooms for two nights and it toolk three tries to find a clean room for one of gthe couples. The pool was murkey and cloudy so they shocked it in the early evening so it was not swimmable for the day. The TV went into "eco-mode" and shut down in the middle of a big play on Sunday Night Football. The staff was great - truly - the motel needs a lot of work. Also - the shredded towels in the bathroom spoke volumes about customer care.

We arrived and our room door was ajar which was alarming. The sheets smelled very chemically treated, but the bed was comfortable. The room was dusty and there were roaches in the bathroom. The pool was moldy. Breakfast was ok, but the fruit was not fresh. Staff was very friendly.

The service good and the breakfast was far better than average. Room was clean. TV was working off and on, but there was storms going on. no hot tub and pool was not heated. I was suppose to get a King Executive Suite,per my Hotels.com Reservation, but was given King room only.

Traveling with children, they are always looking forward to swimming in the hotel pool. In the way from Texas to Michigan, the pools at both hotels were closed for various reasons. So, it was quite disappointing to find the pool at Fairfield Inn also closed.

check in was fast and the person really knew what was needed to make it a smooth process. Facility and cleanliness was top notch. Parking area probably will get repaired in spring. Continental breakfast was outstanding! Perhaps in listings especially on the web, it could be better explained how to get to the parking lot. We found it by the address with Google maps, but not how to get to the building we could see.

Great customer service, continental breakfast was good, beds comfortable, room in good condition and updated. Shower tub base not in the best condition with roughness, chips and black spots around the drain. Maybe to harsh chemical cleaners removed the finish. Disappointed that the pool was down. Great hotel for price and convince.

Front desk people were friendly. Hotel was older. There was mold on the curtains in our first floor room and the room kind of smelled like it. The rest of the room was clean but had an odd smell. Room upstairs was loud, so that was annoying. Breakfast was the usual fare and was adequate.

The original room had a dirty bathroom with hair in the sink. We previously called to have a handicap shower chair and were assured it would be available. It wasn't. Switched rooms. Key cards didn't work. Once in new room...trim peeling off of night stand. No charger ports. Phone not connected. Front desk clerk working alone. GM supposedly "shopping " for shower chair. Really? Marriott or Super8? NOT HAPPY!!

Surprised to pay $3 for parking. This is an older hotel. Rooms small. Nice staff. Shower curtain and window curtains ripped. Elevator smelly and dirty. Seems understaffed and overpriced.

Very nice hotel, not 5 star but nice none the less. What I loved the most was the staff. I've never met more kinder and personable people, especially Caleum at the front desk! When he found out we were there to celebrate my mom's 100th birthday, he bought flowers and gave them to her! Another positive was the free breakfast buffet. Not only was it clean, but the food selections were great and the food tasted really good! Scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal with every topping you could ask for, waffles, cereals, yogurt, juices and delicious coffee! I also loved the shower because it was strong! The not so good thing is there were people staying above us and walked like they had cement on their feet and you could hear them. The other downside was the humidity in the room which made everything feel damp which created a wet odor (carpet, bedding, etc). In fairness in was extremely hot and humid outside, however I would highly suggest that the hotel purchase a few dehumidifiers for guests who may ask for one to clear out the dampness. The drawers in the dresser were kind of older and they were difficult to open and close. Again, nothing major that would keep me from staying there again. Overall, the property was clean and inviting.

Original room was terrible - musty odor, chairs in very poor condition, no toilet seat lid, no internet. Manager moved us to another room - if not, we would have left and forfeited our room charge. Following morning, milk for coffee was sour. Very poor showing for Marriott.

Love the rooms they are nice, even with my kids. They love the pool and that it’s open until 10pm. The wifi could be better but we still love the place and breakfast is yummy too! We will be coming here everytime we are in town.

There was a ticking or banging noise coming from inside the walls that was pretty loud in our room. I called down to the front desk twice trying to get this addressed and no one answered the phone either time. We were only there for the night do we toughed it out but it was a poor night of sleep as a result even with earplugs. Except for that issue the room was clean and comfortable.

Was a nice building and room, especially for one person. Empty lot in front of the building was a bit of eyesore but not too bad. Pretty quiet and safe area too (at least from what I could tell)

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with many selections to choose. The room was clean. The only drawback was the driveway to the hotel was not well marked and there is an empty lot in front of the hotel which makes it difficult to get to the hotel’s parking lot. It is also an eyesore.

The room was fine. Comfortable beds - but the exhaust fan in the bathroom was terrible. Room filled with steam after a shower. Not able to leave door open due to being with other people. Otherwise it was fine. The breakfast was fantastic. Lots of options. Hot food was hot and there were plenty of options for everyone to enjoy.
