Quality Inn Dodge City

The front desk staff was very helpful and was able to accommodate my room request. The room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately there is no elevator to the second floor and the ice machine was not working. A good deal for the price.

Traveled 5.5 hours to stay here because of the indoor pool. Got to hotel to check in and the pool was shut down for maintenance. We were never notified so were completely unaware of it. Could have canceled and stayed somewhere else. Very sneaky

The hotel was reasonably clean and kept up. Two issues, the hot tub and the pool needed chemical maintenance with the hot tub smelling and foaming. Second and most important - who would build a two story hotel without an elevator. I was physically restricted up until a year ago. But would not have qualified as handicapped. I would have had to go to another hotel if I had a second story room. There are no clear flags for someone reserving a room. Warning, if you have restrictions you will have to ensure you have a first floor room.

Room and the beds weren't bad. The bathroom tub had been cracked and poorly repaired and cleaned. Broken sharp tile right outside the tub. The pool and hottub worked but the deck around them needs a lot of work. Overall probably wouldn't stay again for the price should have been much nicer.

The room was very musty smelling. Fan didn’t work in the bathroom. Light switch for the sick was sticky and would only stay on the just the right spot. People were running and banging on walls and doors up and down the hallway until 11. Pull out for my son, you could feel all the metal supports through the mattress. The eggs for breakfast was empty the whole 30 mins my family was down eating breakfast from 7:15-745. No towels in the pool area and pool doesn’t open until 9. They don’t have any life guards so why not open at 6-7

The only complaints I had about this place was the paint in the bathtub was chipping. And the the pool smelled TERRIBLE when you walked in. The actual water didn't smell bad. But there was a funky film over the top of the water that was questionable.

Almost everything was great. Check in staff was wonderful. Room was very clean. Huge complaint about the hot tub. It was nasty dirty and when we turned the jets on the whole tub was full of foam, very disappointing since we stayed there to relax in the spa after a long drive and was not able to. CLEAN YOUR HOT TUB. And why was there a dirty, muddy ladder next to the hot tub.

Great room, super clean inside. Very private rooms noise doesn’t transfer. Parking lot could be a little cleaner. Friendly front desk. Will be staying here again.

Bathtub was peeling and I did take pics it was off putting so did not even attempt to shower.

The towels in the bathroom had a stain on it. There were spots on one of the beds sheets, and it looks like the sheets had not been changed. The carpet was dirty. The shower curtain looked like it had mold on it. Shower bath bathtub bath tub was peeling away like the first couple layers of plastic coming.

Our stay was perfect. The cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff. Most definitely stay here next time in Dodge City

Shower was gross, not cleaned. Ice machine didn't work. But on a positive note, the bed was comfy.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, good beds. My only complaint is the room, while air conditioned, had a damp feeling to it. Didn’t like the dampness.

Place was clean. Walls are really thin. There was a hole above the shower that looks like water damage from above.

Hot tub smelled very musty.. it was very weird. Beds were super comfy! Pillows were great! Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was subpar and not that great.

Bread has molds in it. Internet is slow. We stayed 6 days and the same breakfast every day. It run out of coffee.

Ac in room was loud and room was very humid.

We travel with our 3 teenage grandchildren. Great to have a suite big enough to accommodate all of us. Quiet, clean, comfortable. This hotel is a little older, but suited our needs.

The window unit / Heater in Room 103 had noises and every time the unit start ,loud enough to wake us all night long every time it ran , which was ever 10 minutes

Definitly not a bad place to stay, it was relatively quiet and I never worried about the toolboxes in my truck truck outside. The pool/hot tub were very small and the breakfast options were very limited, but overall had a good nights sleep. Beds were clean and comfortable and I liked the large TV.

When we checked in the tv was not “talking” to the remote. Fortunately the clerk was able to help us repair the two. The fan I. The bathroom was very loud and the heating and cooling fan could not be put on continuous (which was annoying). The quilt on the base was too small for a king. But all in al a good value for the price.

Rude staff! Never again. I will pay extra next time to stay somewhere nicer. They rushed us out before check out and were upset because we checked in late. No consideration that we drove at all.

I called and asked if I could get the ground floor for a senior citizen. The person who answered the phone said I’d reserved the room on the first floor, and no rooms were available. I thought that if the rooms were unavailable, he should tell me if any room became available during check-in, there might be a possibility, but instead, he said I should get the room for what I was paying for. I thought it was wrong, so I called again, and the same person picked up the phone. I asked him if I could still get the ground floor and pay a difference, and as far as I know, before a guest check-in, the room assignment can be arranged based on preference during check-in and availability. But he said no. So, I asked to talk to the manager, thinking the person who answered the phone probably didn’t know if it could be done. But he said he was the manager, and suddenly he got pissed because I told him what could be done. After a heated conversation, he told me he could make the arrangements, but he didn’t want to because I told him how things are done, and he didn’t like that. After reading other reviews on Google, etc., I don’t think the manager takes it seriously in all his responses to his customer's previous reviews. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have written this review to complain about lousy customer service. By the way, the rooms on the first floor are much better than the ground floor because of the noise. I’m glad he didn’t switch the room!!!

Service bad at check in. On Second floor but NO Elevator in building! Got into room a green dirty bath towel hanging in closet. Numerous bulbs burnt out or light fixtures not functioning?? Had decided to stay because breakfast was included but TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT. Breakfast bar area- no pepper only salt & ketchup for condiments. Coffee was awful. Juice was out— this was at about 7 am!! No attendant to ask. Cheap 1 choice sweet bun. Will NEVER STOP at this place again!!

There was nobody at the front desk to check us in. We had to wait 20 minutes for someone to show up. Our room had no smoke detector. It was missing and just had the exposed wires hanging from the ceiling. The breakfast area was very cramped and small. Had to wait for people to stand up to get around the tables. There was nobody at the front desk again when we tried to check out. Used the phone on the desk to talk to someone that did not speak English very well. We were told it would be 20 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk. We will never stay at a Quality Inn again at any location. Beware and stay somewhere else.
