Beautiful landscaping and pool

The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Good breakfast. The ice machine wasn’t working on first floor so you had to use elevator to go up to 3rd floor for ice. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Transiting through on a larger road trip, we used Hotels.com to find the best overnight option in Dodge City and the site nailed it. Very comfortable and easy to park with a trailer. For any reason and length of stay, this hotel is a great option.

The staff was great! The rooms are oversized, which is a plus for families. Our kids enjoyed to outdoor pool and the breakfast was good!

Our room was excellent, clean, comfortable and quiet. Good luck, however if you need a luggage cart. They apparently only have two available for use.

The TV did not work, the bed is rock hard, and the floors were dirty.

Very clean and well maintained. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The only problem was that I found a large insect like a cockroach with wings on the bathroom floor and the room had a bad smell, I guess it was because the carpet needs to be washed but the beds were very comfortable, good quality and clean. The kitchen was clean and the floor was very clean, my socks didn't get dirty. The breakfast they offer is very complete and delicious. The area is very quiet and safe.

Bathroom door would not shut. The room smelled like air freshner over cat urine. No pans in yhe kitchen. Toilet paper roll holder was broken. Sheets were stained. Toilet did not flush well.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke and service could have been better. Staff seemed overworked or disinterested. Positive notes: rooms have burners for cooking and breakfast is free. And in a good part of town near a good coffee place and Walmart.

We found food on our bed. There were pieces of a chocolate bar on the sheets. Informed the staff and they said we need to tell the manager. Not all that helpful. Breakfast was really good, but was shut down shortly after 9am.

Very nice comfortable hotel. Convenient and quiet. Rooms were very spacious. Loved the kitchenette and full size fridge. Breakfast area was nice and spacious as well. Good breakfast with lots of choices. Enjoyed our stay. We would stay there again if we ever return to Dodge City.

We had a king suite and it had ample room with a kitchenette which was nice. However the air conditioning unit made the entire room smell very musty and that made the stay tougher. The bed was very uncomfortable and hard. The sink in the bathroom smelled so bad when water was ran we tried not to use it. Also I had the fun of killing a larger spider in the tub when using the bathroom in the middle of the night. It happens I understand this. Could use some maintenance and deep cleaning in the room way stayed in. Maybe an exterminator visit to keep pests away. I will say that the front desk staff was very nice and friendly though.

Bathtub drain plugged causing showering in ankle deep water. Unable to rinse soap from feet causing a fall. Better maintenance needed.

Our room is quiet and like a small apartment: full size refrigerator and microwave, sink, stove, eating table, large TV. A lot of room for a modest price. Everything is clean. The woman at the front desk was happy[y to help us with a couple of requests. I can see why this property has such high ratings!

This is our "go-to" hotel when we come to Dodge City. The location is great, the rooms are nice and big, and the staff is wonderful!

The room we stayed in had a kitchen which would be nice if there were any dishes, utensils or cooking equipment so you could use the kitchen.

Very dated and worn out decor. The refrigerator and air conditioner were unusually loud and turned on and off all night, waking us each time. Front desk check in was pleasant. Since we couldn’t sleep, we left by 4:45 AM.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. However the door to the bathroom could not be closed without using a significant amount of force. The deadbolt for the main door could not be operated without similar force.

The check in went well and we were put on the first floor. Usually not a big deal. I noticed a metal bar Jammed into the window frame. The window would not latch. I requested to be moved to another floor but was told that was not possible because we booked through Hotels.com and that the bar was in the window because it got extremely windy. I was very surprised by their inflexibility at our discomfort. The hotel was not crowded, plenty of other rooms.

The North Edge is in a quiet area of Dodge City and is right off Hwy 50. Amenities are not within walking distance but are within a half mile or two, depending on what you want. This is the 2nd time we stayed, but we will not stay a third time. The hotel staff at check in was only minimally welcoming. When we reported damage to our room to her, she said she'd "let them know," and promptly closed the door on us, literally. Not a good impression.

I loved the great service i received from the moment i walked in to check-in. The staff i came across was always smiling and friendly. Undoubtedly among the most welcoming places iv stayed at ANYWHERE. Ten out of ten.

We chose this hotel from it’s reviews. We were greeted by a very snobby guy that when I mentioned light heartily about cookies (since they had the set up he said snootily “no cookie” then we happily said we chose this hotel for the review in which he leaned well over the counter to point at the awards and a slight roll of his eyes. So we checked in and was checked into a mobility accessible room by mistake. Come to find out the ap on Expedia jumped to this room. We come back and the check in guy says no room changes for 3rd party check in. Then he calls his Manager. A man with a big chip on his shoulder comes out of the elevator and chest sticking out and says since you booked through a 3 rd party we can do nothing for you. He was condescending and rude and we suddenly were 3rd rate people for using Expedia. We left with a paid for room and went to a beautiful hotel the Hampton Inn and suites Dodge city with a gorgeous room and the kindest, best desk person to check us in. The room is so spacious and clean and I would stay at the Hampton over and over again. But for the any best western in Dodge I would avoid at all cost. Just so who ever is reading this review we travel extensively and our business sends our employees all over the US. We have seen and have stayed in all kinds of resorts and hotels in big and small towns. Do not stay here

The woman wo handled our check in was pleasant, quick and extremely competent. A rare glimpse of customer service standars from an older era.

Room was worth the money. Checking in was welcoming and hotel was clean. Breakfast wasnt good enough stop us from having to eat right after checking out but thats no big deal. Housekeeping determined to get us out hours before checkout. However, i would stay again if i drive through Kansas.

Nice Hotel with a great breakfast. Having a car is a plus but there is Uber if you don’t. Every room in town is taken every day of the week so plan accordingly.

It is close to iur daughter's house and the highway.

My king suite was very spacious and quiet. The hotel is located close to anything that you would want to see in Dodge City. They had a nice breakfast spread.

This is a newer hotel and good location just off us 50. Everything had that new feel.

The location was great. The room were nice and clean. The breakfast was subpar. The food items were not being restocked. At one point, the only available bread was white slices. There was no fresh fruit such as apples or bananas. The sausage and biscuits were not restocked in general. The breakfast was not worth the price of the rooms in addition to that the huge television in the crowded dining space was on Fox News loud the entire time, I believe it should be not be political when I’m having breakfast. How about sports. I won’t stay here in the future.

It was pricey for a basic hotel room. The breakfast was not very good. The only bread option was a slice of white bread. No fruit available. There were tons of people and the food was not being restocked. The orange juice tasted like water had been added to it. There was a huge tv in the breakfast area with Fox News playing. Very unpleasant environment.

The room size was really great and the front office guy when we checked in was very personable. Breakfast was very good, there was both hot and colld, so.ething there for everyone.

Nice one night stay. Older hotel but everything was fine. Only took off star because breakfast food was running low and it wasn’t replenished, even after asking.
