Great gym and pool.

I really liked this hotel. The staff was kind and efficient. There’s a lot of shopping nearby. The pool might need some updates but we used it and it was fine. The washer dryer was good. Breakfast was excellent. The room was big and the beds were comfortable. I would stay here again.

Looked good at first and checking in was a breeze. Once we got in the room we noticed mold around the entire bathroom ceiling and walls. Plugging in a hair straightener made a hot smell come from the outlet. Pool looked really dirty. Guests came to breakfast barefoot and a toddler in just a diaper.

great but two ice machines were broken and the toilet had black mold inside under the rim otherwise reasonable priced stay during the week

Good location, quiet and great outside space for our dog. We always stay here on out cross country trip to Colorado. Staff is super nice and accommodating.

I was told to park around the back of the building. All the lights were off in that lot. Told the front desk. They said they had a bad lightning storm and had electrical damage.

Pool was janky but other than that it was a great stay.

Was a wonderful stay during a very long road trip. Ava was super sweet and took very good care of all three of us, even getting us towels for the pool. The only thing we were a bit iffy about was the concrete on the bottom was breaking in the pool and scraped our foot, but we brought that to the attention of the staff and hopefully that will be addressed soon.

Pool needs updating and one of the rooms had stain on floor. Otherwise, staff was amazing and was very comfortable.

We were without water in the room because of issues with hotel pipes. Wasn’t inform until we inquired. In the hotel bathroom sealing & surrounded tub was mole. There was candles & trashed underneath a bed.

There were 4 dead flies on the window sill.

The hotel doesn't appear as it does in the pictures. You're first greeted by a dark lobby and the pool is in rough shape. Our mini fridge was not working and there was hair in the bed. I am grateful for a kind staff who understood our concerns and offered solutions including changing rooms or getting a refund. The hotel just needs some love, attention, and investment.

Hotel is becoming "run down". Maintenance/condition of facilities and cleanliness are lacking. Outside property is littered with trash. Room 147 had a stained, dirty carpet. The bathtub was rusted in several places. The upholstered chair was so stained and dirty that we would not sit on it. The outside courtyard would have been a lovely place had it not been for being overgrown with weeds. The potatoes at breakfast were so hard I could not stick my fork into them. All was such a shame as I am sure this was a very nice place at one time.

The room was ok. The bathroom tub was dirty. The couch was stained and dirty. Other then that the room was acceptable.

The room appeared fine to begin with. My husband found hair on the towels in the bathroom. He then awoken to something crawling on him in the middle of the night. We checked the sheet and found a bed bug. We immediately took a picture and flushed it down the toilet. We notified the front desk, who said that she would have her manager contact me. I still haven’t heard from anyone. I sent a message to the hotel through Expedia and tried calling.

Issued 2 rooms that had not been cleaned since the last tenant. Ice machines did not work. Shower broken.

I've stayed at this hotel before when it was a Marriott Courtyard. I was disappointed to learn it now isn't. I always used the Marriott reservation system and never had any problems. This time, I thought I had a reservation for 2 nights, but only had one. Check in was more complicated and took longer. There was missing tile grout in the bathroom, which made the tile seem loose.

The bed skirt was torn, the carpet is thread barren, the bathroom was dicey. At least they took the cats in for overnight.

Don't bother paying extra for a balcony room, because you might not get one. We waited an extra day to book and the regular room prices went down, while the balcony room prices went higher. Wouldn't have been a big deal had we actually got the private balcony we paid for but the lady at the desk basically shrugged her shoulders and gave excuses. Our room did have a sliding door that went out to a public sidewalk patio area, No privacy whatever. The room was very nice however and we liked the tall ceilings. They had some sort of water leak while we were there which I'm sure isn't typical. Breakfast was mediocre to ok, biscuits were rock hard, sausage links overcooked and hard but there was enough other stuff to eat. Overall I would probably stay again, but not pay extra for a room I didn't get.

We had three small issues in our room: (I) mini fridge did not work, (ii) fixture over the sink was not fully attached to the sink, still worked ok, (iii) the tub was mounted with bottom not leveled correctly with a water path slopping towards its drain, causing water to pool in the middle of the tub and mildew manifesting itself. Not noticed the tub issue until it was too late for us to ask for different room. The issues really may sound bad, but the place is really nice. Did not used their pool.

We think some improvements could be made.We arrived on Wednesday, the ice maker on our floor was not working. After talking with other guest the ice maker had not been working all week. It was not until Friday that it was functional. This was very inconvenient. The TV programing was not only awful the channels were not in sequence with the guide and several channels did not work, just a black screen that would flicker some times. The bathroom door would not close. We were offered another room but being a married couple we chose to keep the balcony room (the reason we chose this hotel) rather than switch. The couch in our room was very worn, near breaking on one end and extremely uncomfortable. While the room/furniture was in need of updating we enjoyed the room space and thought the hotel overall was okay for the price. Although we have the before mentioned complaints, the staff, their friendliness and helpful nature made our stay for the most part enjoyable. With family in the area we will be visiting again and may stay at Sonesta Essentila at least 1 more time to see if any improvements have been made. We would like to think that the hotel is in the process of replacing furniture, repairing things needed and updating TV programming service and we were just unlucky in getting a room that has not yet been redone. The room was great, but there was noise from the train, the clerk sent me the long way to the room, and the breakfast was sub par. As a point of reference, the Best Western I stayed at the night before in Kimball Tennessee had just as nice a room, a quieter location, better guest service, and a much better breakfast.

The staff was nice and able to keep my family next to each other. Which was helpful.

Upon arrival into our room, there was leftover garbage and a cooler left in the room. The staff was notified and quickly changed us to another room that was cleaned and acceptable. Front staff was very accommodating.

I waited 30-minutes to get my hotel key, mi d you o paid in full on expedia bit was told my reservation wasn't showing on the hotel system. I had to waot for the manager on duty that had stepped out and had to be called to come.back to the hotel to over ride the system. My room smelled like urine and socks. The bed was comfortable especially after a 14 hour car ride. This was my 2nd time and now after this experience i will choose a different property next time.

Liked the building/lobby area, very appealing. Nice room, clean-quiet-slept well. Didn’t like, skipped breakfast because staff was late, lobby coffee in the morning was good but loaded with grounds. Got a mouthful of grounds and there was more in the cup! Morning situation needs work.

No one was at front desk for 10 minutes when we got there and they gave us no information, only made sure we put a $100 deposit down for a 1 night stay for incidentals… rather excessive. No ice in machines, weird pillows that were tiny, inaccessible electrical outlets next to bed.

We waited over 15 minutes to be checked in. Clerk was on the phone. No other help available. We had 2 hardshelled bugs in the bathroom. Housekeeping did not come to clean for the 2nd day. Checkout was also slow as the clerk had to set out breakfast; make coffee and clean up the serving area. Apologies were made but too little help and too late to address the issues.

I had an amazing experience with Sue which was part of the hotel staff. We had an unfortunate situation over Christmas and she went over the moon to mske our check in and stay amazing. SUE IS AN ENPLOYEE I WHICH I HAD ON MY STAFF. Best Regards Michelle

The morning I checked out, I waited for quite some time for a clerk but no one came. I wanted a receipt for my stay. They never came so I didn't get the receipt. The breakfast was okay The TV remote control needed to be cleaned. I put some tissue on it before I would use it again. The room itself was nice I would definitelly stay in this type of hotel again.

Excellent Hotel for the price point - we will be. "Miss Jenny" in the breakfast area was amazing. She was very friendly and helpful

I like how close it was to Walmart and the free breakfast

Good place to stop on a cross-country road trip. Clean, convenient and close to restaurants and shopping.

This was a work trip. The surrounding area is not so good by the looks of it. I had noticed young people and loud music outside across the street when I went inside. Overnight, my truck was robbed of everything except the generator and the contents of the locked compartments. When I inquired about cameras, they said there weren’t any where I parked. Wasn’t worth the period of time to file a report with nothing evidence or witnesses.

Walmart and restaurants are nearby.

The room was great. The area not much to do.

I liked that this property was set off the road. It made for a quieter stay.

Price was good for a one-night stop. Pleasant and efficient front desk staff. Hall decor and elevators did not give an appealing initial impression; carpet was frayed and looked very dated. Colors need a refresh. Guest room with two queens was spacious and clean, however, and beds had comfortable mattresses and pillows. Appreciated that bath gel, shampoo, etc., was in refillable bottles rather than throwaway single-use plastic bottles. Breakfast was quite unappealing. Powdered eggs, tough sausage links, sugary yogurt, instant oatmeal packets, cheap bread slice, fake orange juice, and no fruit.

An overall Good Experience- a few things did not work like our floors ice machine. Breakfast was minimal but satisfactory. Same breakfast all 3 days. Good location.

The eggs were passable, the tatortots were hard and rubbery, the bread was dry.

Be aware there's no complimentary breakfast, although they have food you can buy. I was fine with it, having plenty of my own.

Poor breakfast! Was orange drink not juice! Eggs and link sausage both mornings we were there. No fresh fruit. A lot of white carbs
