Comfort Inn Ballston

Very good location. Free parking. Room was a good size. Beds are ok. Hotel in reasonable shape. Breakfast was included, nothing special but ok. Overall , this is a decent, clean hotel that is in a good location for catching the metro to do DC. It is also very close to Virginia Hospital Center. Plenty of good restaurants nearby.

Manager gave away my room that was prepaid without notification and still charged me for the room.

A nice and convenient place to stay. Professional, helpful,and friendly staff. Recommended.

I would prefer some fresh fruit offerings and yogurt. But eggs and sausage were fine. Parking is fine. A little tight for our pickup truck. But we managed.

Flight issues necessitated an unexpected stay in the DC area. The front desk clerk, while nice, did say my room number outloud infront of a group of people trying to check it that night. They had no business knowing what room I was given. The website states that shuttle service to the airport is provided, but once there it is only offered to select guests. (This was part of the reason this hotel was chosen so that was frustrating to find out) The property seemed to be well maintained but it is very dated. There was an excellent breakfast provided. Egg& cheese omelets, sausages, waffles, just to name a few of the choices.
