Solid hotel. Breakfast was good, typical hotel offerings. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff was attentive and friendly. Walkable to a Target, a grocery store, and restaurants. Cable TV with many options. Fridge in room. Daily maid service which did a really nice job. The cookies in the afternoon were a nice touch. Beds were very comfortable. Nice outdoor patio area for relaxing. Freeway is right next door. We didn't have an issue with the noise, but you can hear it on occasion. The area around the hotel is fine, but there are concerning locations within a mile or so. Far from downtown and Fenway - you will need to Lyft / Uber or take public transportation (which I would not recommend). No pool or hot tub. They charge $10 per person for shuttle to/from airport.

Try bad experience. Could not get the pick shuttle from the Airport to the hotel although we booked and we were given promises that the driver was on his way but after an hour and half he never showed up. The prices given doesn’t worth the stay. Too much for a below avg hotel. Very bad experience and we will never do it again!

I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express Boston. The only small inconvenience was that I called the front desk and House Keeping on 3 separate occasions and the calls were never picked up. I had to go downstairs to the front desk and I luckily ran into someone from housekeeping. I also thinks its outrageous that guest have to pay $20 a day to park in the parking lot where the hotels is located.

Cheaper option with access to the convention area. The service was quite mediocre and NO ONE actually care about assisting customers. Very "put out" feel by most of the employees. Shuttle is unreliable and employees not consistent on it\'s operation leading to confusion.

The room was decent although the coffee pot was broken. They did replace it and supplied extra coffee. The surrounding area of the hotel was very noisy and dirty. The hotel trash can was overflowing and trash was lying in the parking lot. The MOST infuriating part of the stay was that they charged us $20 per day to park in their lot. With the price, we paid for the room and there is undoubtedly no valet, there should NOT be a charge to park my vehicle. I left my vehicle at my home hotel in Denver during my trip and their daily rate was only $10 when I was storing my vehicle there. Your hotel charged me twice that and I was paying for a room those two nights. Absolutely ridiculous!!! I will not stay there again nor recommend it to anyone!

The room had a bad smell, the bathroom fan was extremely noisy, and the vanity was dirty. The staff also seemed frustrated while attending to guests. I had a good experience when I stayed here four years ago, so I decided to return, but now I have no desire to come back.

The guy that took care of our check in was excellent. We where disappointed when we got to the room because the bed weren’t clean they eve had blood on the sheets. Thankfully the the person in charge during the night on the 19 was super helpful.

Stayed at the same hotel the prior week and the room was much nicer for that stay. Room wasn't as clean, bathroom was much smaller and not overly clean and water pressure in the shower was very weak. USB charging ports didn't work either.

It is walking distance to the subway which was very convenient. Room was clean & comfortable. Rooms on the side that face the road are pretty noisy. We moved after first night. The breakfast was very good.

This hotel is nice, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to the road noise (the highway runs alongside it). They were gracious enough to provide earbuds (which my husband used). The second issue was that the room was on the 5th floor, and the water pressure was very weak. Other than that, nice hotel with plenty of stores and eateries within walking distance. The complimentary breakfast was good and changed daily. Charging $20/day for parking is ridiculous, but being an IHG rewards member helps solved that issue.

Not too bad of a hotel. Price was steep for location. Mass transit options are fairly close. We stayed in what looked to be a more recent expansion and room was fairly clean along with the bathroom Main complaints: Breakfast, albeit free, was nasty. Walking from hotel towards the shopping strip mall on the backside is littered with used needles. Where are was located we did get noise from the freeway. Paying $350 a night still feels dirty for a Holiday Inn Express

Was very happy with our stay. Breakfast was always nice however would have liked more of a selection of hot food such as bacon and would be nice to know which options were available each day. Food tasted good and enjoyed the free coffee throughout the day although it did get cold at times. There was a fridge and microwave in the room which was really useful. Room was nice and the bed very comfy. Daily housekeeping was great, staff were all very friendly and helpful. Very accessible with lots of stores such as target and Starbucks closeby. Enjoyed my stay and would stay again if I ever visited the same area again.

The breakfast was probably the worst hotel offering I have ever had. Nothing looked appetizing, the coffee was weak, people were looking and leaving. I chose this hotel thinking we would be able to have something handy in morning, it was the Starbucks near by. Our room also had a weird odour on arrival that never went away.

Very noisy air conditioning. Plus noise from road outside. Extremely disappointing and shocking to find all glasses for water were plastic, that all the crockery and plates for breakfast was plastic and polystyrene, and paper cups. All throwaway items. The food was equally poor. Considering the cost of the room was not cheap, these things were simply really bad value. Cheaper hotels in the uk have far better breakfasts and use proper metal cutlery and ceramic crockery, plates and glasses etc. Not single use plastic.
