Homewood Suites by Hilton Holyoke-Springfield/North

Room was good, beds were SUPER comfy! The hotel breakfast was pretty much the same eggs every day, a change of pace would have been nice. The pool is locked at all times. Every time you want to get in, or get back in after using the bathroom, you need to go to the front desk and have someone let you in. The key card should do this, this was a hassle. Overall I would stay here again.

Natalie and Ricky (morning Chef), made this experience remarkable and perfect. Natalie is a genuinely warm, helpful, and lovely individual who helped with everything we needed. She was warm and inviting and a sheer joy to talk to - please acknowledge her value to this institution. Ricky, (I believe his name!) was so inviting and welcoming and his food was AMAZING. He made our breakfast experience feel like we were being hosted in his home. Spectacular service from all we met - those two were supreme perfection and deserve recognition. The only drawback we found was the hot tub water was not sparkling, and so we did not use it as much as we wanted. Otherwise this was the perfect temporary home for a lovely vacation. Thank you to all the staff we encountered, it made for a lifelong memorable experience.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We stayed here because odds the pool and hot tub. They were clean and well maintained, just need better ventilation. Honestly the only complaint. Breakfast was very good also.

Rooms were clean. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was your average American breakfast. Overall good stay. My only “thing” was the pool - you need someone to open the door for you to get in and I honestly did not get a good vibe from the person that was assign to that duty the day we went, he had a stalker/creepy vibe.

We stayed in the single king bed suite and it was absolutely fabulous! Being able to use my phone as a digital key and seeing the "Welcome Quetari" written on both TVs when I entered was a lovely, personal touch! I felt right at home and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Plenty of amenities for everyone such as free breakfast, access to pool and fitness center as well as a basketball court outside too. It was a little chilly but I noticed they also have an outdoor BBQ grill and seating area for the warmer days. To say the least, I was pleasantly surprised and will defintely consider returning again for a night or two away.

My stay was great. The room was nice and clean. It did have a smell but of course I'm sure other pet lover use the room before. The size of the suite was great. And the sleeping accomidatuon were excellent especially the pillows. The over apperance of the hotel was nice and I was supper impressed by the two outdoor grill and seating. And the beautiful landscaping. The basketball court was enjoyed by my son and his friends. the field behind the hotel was outstanding for our per to run and play. The customer service was also super great very friendly. I had a few concerns with the lack of a tredmill and the peloton bike that was confusing to operat, reguired a code? I am also supper disappointed that the pool and hot tub was down from Saturday afternoon well into monday afternoon. I was.told a child broke a light etc. The pool and the hottub was the highlights for me and I did not get to utilize either one.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, well maintained. The lobby was inviting with comfortable chairs next to the fireplace. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. The free breakfast buffet was a plus. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Our suite was spacious and very comfortable. We will definitely be back. Very conveniently located Minutes from the mall and many, many restaurants.

Toilet making noise room had a funny smell and left hairs still in the shower so cleaning wasn’t so good

The property was very clean and well taken care of. The room was extremely clean. The kids enjoyed it there. Def be back after six flags.

Hotel is starting to show it's age. Strong odor of marijuana in multiple areas of hotel. After checking in and getting settled into my room, a staff member (guessing cleaning staff) tried to access my room but I had the door chain on to keep it from opening all the way. I opened the door and she said that she wasn't told someone had checked into this room and quickly walked away. For breakfast, all the juices were basically colored water. Food was cold.

I had a room with nonworking appliances got switched three times in one night, last room one of the bedrooms in the suite was infested with bed bugs. The water coming out the shower n tub and sinks was brown. Elevators expired inspection. I addressed the manager of these concerns and she was rude , didnt care even with photos and videos of these concerns, she refused to refund me and basically told me i shouldnt have stayed in that hotel. She had zero concern for any safety of children which i traveled with because my daughter had special appointments at Boston children’s and near by clinics and i had no choice of staying due to a emergency with my child . Never again

This hotel was clean. No dust in the fan vents, shower grout was clean.

Had a terrible experience--our bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke. The bed was broken, we did not get a decent night's sleep and woke up in a ton of pain the next day. The floor was randomly wet in certain areas. When management was informed they just apologized but did not offer any compensation for the experience.

My floor in front of my bed was sticky. Like someone spilt soda and was never picked/cleaned up.

Overall good. Shower stalls Gad mold and mildew. Toiletries were empty.

When we arrived we found that our bathroom had not been cleaned. Someone left poop in the toilet and the shower was also very dirty. There was also a huge fight at the hotel. We were scared and called 911. Many cops came. We stay here often but we will not be back again. Very disappointed.

Very close to all the shops. The room was very quiet even next to the road. However, a few of the tiles were loose around the sink and the drain was broken. The room still functioned correctly, but it looked in need of repair.

Service was great, the room itself was spacious and had a nice layout and functioning kitchen, however there was hair on floors, stains on carpet and overall a lot of wear and tear on furniture. The bed and pillows wrre not the most comfortable so we did have a hard time sleeping. It was ok for 1 night.

I noticed the front desk, they didn’t seem to have been aware of either of those. No ice trays in the freezer, which would have been nice since the machine was out or order. Also, there was no dish washing liquid, which also would have been helpful. The hotel is right next to a huge shopping mall, which is convenient; but also right next to a major highway, which was a little noisy at night, but I got used to that. Some noisy guests in the parking lot, but the noise didn’t last more than a few minutes. It was 2:30 am, so kind of a pain, but again, not lingering enough to call the front desk. Overall, a nice stay and I would stay there again.

This is the first hotel we have ever stayed in where the mattress was perfect. Most hotels they are either lumpy or have body outlines molded into them because they are so old. The room was clean and quiet, the only downside was the pillows, for some reason hotels always have horrible pillows. These were no different, you can't really judge this hotel by their pillows alone so these being just like every hotel won't change my 5 star rating. Oh and the cookies were excellent as well.

Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Location was quiet and easy to access. The free breakfast was okay. We had a room with a kitchenette which had plenty of space, seating, and kitchen items. It was decent for a week’s stay, but there are some areas that need attention: The upholstered living room furniture is past its prime and needs to be replaced, as do the pots and pans that have inside coating that is heavily scratched. Also, glad to see recycle bins on each floor, but disappointed that foam paper plates and plastic utensils were being used for the free breakfast.

For the cost of this hotel, I should not have had to walk down to the front desk (which was on the opposite side of the hotel) to go find staff to get a key and let me into the pool area. There is key card access, yet you can’t get in without staff unlocking the door. Ridiculous! And no one could bring a wine bottle opener up to the room since there was only one person working the desk. Had to walk down there too. Super annoying. Room was okay, bedding was just okay. Not great for the price.

Slow to respond to a maintenance problem. Bathroom door self-locked when it hit the doorstop on the wall about 11:00pm. It was 9:00 am before someone came to unlock it.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Nicest hotel staff I have ever encountered! Hotel is well maintained.

Booked stay through Expedia six months in advance only to show up at hotel and was told they were overbooked and didn't have any rooms left. Totally unacceptable for both Expedia and Homewood Suites/Hilton. Manager offered to comp stay for another date and I have yet to hear from her. Take my advice and stay somewhere else.

Do not stay at this property!! They are unjust and unfair! My sister, child and niece and myself all checked in to the hotel together we were told it could be six people in a room however we only had four once we received our wristbands to enter into the pool. We were told other people outside of the pool playing basketball advised they were staying in our room, which was a total lie, from the so-called general manager could not determine and figure out who was in what room we were asked to leave and be escorted by police officers which were called to the hotel, which is the craziest thing I’ve ever heard when I travel all the time with Hilton. I will be bringing this to corporate level my family and I had nothing to do with any other guests staying there at the time! Even the nice officers, I was speaking with advise me that this is not the first time that this manager calls the police on people of her own race and nationality! I usually never have a problem at all at any Hilton property, but this one has topped them all they must be careful about who they hire and try to put in higher positions because some of these people abuse, their rights and privileges for children to be asked to get out of the pool, pack their stuff up and leave when I paid For our suite in my name on my credit card should have been no problem, but of course people take their authority positions and run with it !! If you’re trying to bring your children swimming at this property or location don’t!!!!

Excellent choice hands down .. beats all five star hotels that think that they are better !! Conveniently located right off the highway near a mall and restaurants and so much to do . Travel in from Connecticut each year and there’s no other choice for us. We would actually cancel our trip if we could not get a room here absolutely the best.!!!! I love that this location is so close to the Holyoke mall. The breakfast, coffee all day and pool were nice perks! I just wish the ice machine had worked on our floor but other than that we had a great stay and will be back!

I've stayed here many times and have found it a great location. Yankee Candle not far away. Great shopping very nearby. Quite a few restaurants to choose from or eat in.

Went to the Big E, hotel was only a few miles away, very spacious, was able to do work and leave it in the next room when I went to sleep.

One of the best complimentary hotel breakfasts I have had. Convenient to Mt. Holyoke and a nearby mall. Easy to park. Spacious rooms with a full refrigerator, stove top, sink and microwave as well as a table and chairs. Couch and sitting area. Pool, hot tub. Outside patio with BBQ gril and nice outside seating. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The stay overall was amazing. Friendly staff, clean and spacious room, the indoor pool was excellent. The breakfast was horrible. Some of the worst food I've ever had. The eggs had zero flavor, the coffee was terrible, the sausage was super bland, the potatoes were okay.
