Friendly bartender and liked the bar and the fact that it was open until 10! We had a great stay!

Nice hotel. Room was big and comfortable. Elevator is extremely slow. Key card entry to room didn’t work well. Breakfast was decent, but potatoes were dried out and seemed old. Gym is small and hot. Equipment is in good shape, but the one mat they had wasn’t in good shape. Pool and hot tub were nice. Pool is small.

I stayed from Sunday to Wednesday and was relatively quiet. Room rate was outstanding compared to other hotels in the area. Staff were all nice and helpful. My room was huge, clean, and had everything I needed during my stay. Hot tub felt great at the end of the day.

Nice hotel, but needs to address maintenance issues. There was no coffee for anyone at breakfast because they had one of those multi use dispensers that was broken. Should have at least had a conventional coffee maker for backup. Coffee is kind of important if you offer breakfast.. Then, we also wanted some ice, but they only had one machine for the whole hotel... and it was broken, also... On the plus side there is a good restaurant attached to the hotel.

The hotel is in a serene location. The staff, Mr. Jim, was professional and welcoming. This is my second time staying at the hotel because its location near Mount Holyoke College. The hotel was very nice with spacious and clean room. The breakfast was nicely set up of protein (eggs and ham or sausages), carbs (pancakes or french toast sticks, potatoes), fruits and an area of beverage machine and bread. I liked the hotel has a gym and pool with hot tub which operates from 8am-10pm. There are not any convenient stores nearby, so all snacks and drinks need to be purchased in town. Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel!

My friends and I visited this hotel due to the convenience of it's location and having a hot tub unlike other places. We were greeted very professionally by a mid 50's kind gentleman who explained everything well. The bedroom and breakfast were fine. The only major complaint is that for some reason the hot tub had a maintenance sign on it during the hotel's advertised open hours. Looks like someone failed to make a good decision when maintenance should be done, obviously it shouldn't be happening during customer service hours. I've called in advance before making a resevation and was assured that it's working and will be open. Anyways, the other middle aged employee was very rude and kicked us out. Looks like we were given contradicting information. My friends and I are very unhappy and unfortunately will not be using the services here anymore due to lack of professionalism in communication and available services.

Room was beautiful, loved the electric fireplace. Needs were very comfortable. Full breakfast was great. Only downside was that there was one elevator for guests and cleaning staff. I didn’t see available stairs. The elevator was very slow and a common complaint with guests in the elevator and those waiting for the

It was a relaxing experience but yet was disappointed and mis led 1 of the reasons i choose D - Hotel and Spa was for the Sauna - steam room and it was no where mentioned it was by appointment only and their was a fee and a time limit it came across as a normal sauna- steam room generally open to the public with the same poor and hot tub hours other than that i had a wonderful time and came home very rejuvenated and my massage was a first time experience and it was amazing thank you again i so needed this and will return and just book ahead for my sauna visits! !

Honestly, if you’re going to be under construction. Do it floor by floor and close off access. The elevator and carpets were filthy, because of construction debris. AND My bathroom, had mold in it! My bed was large but had a massive welt, in it that I would roll into. This place HAS a lot of potential but overall, not worth it. The layout of the room was off balance. Which drove me BANANAS. For example the TV was off center from the bed clearly the intention was to align it TO foot of the bed yet it was off by like 3’. It’s like someone slapped the details of this room together. It’s old and new, and NOTHING MATCHES. Ive worked in design for decades and this place needs to get it together. THE BATHROOM REALLY grossed me out, I had to stay another night. Due to overbooking I had to go to hotel across town. I ended up at a 3-4 star Quality Inn. IT WAS SPOTLESS. WITH all new amenities. I was very surprised at the difference in quality versus the ratings.

My room was clean, bright ( a.m. sun!), comfortable, and quiet (on backside, overlooking parking lot). I love that there were no carpets and the bathroom was spotless. Hot tub was a treat after long car ride, but Jim at the front desk gets the prize for his courtesy, engagement, hospitality, and desire to bring me joy! I'll definitely be back...hopefully to room #416!

Room was extremely dusty and dirty. My kids suffered from allergies the whole time there.

Bathroom floor was not clean and sticky. Shower water backed up in tub and did not drain for a long time.

Dirty room broken window. Not a $300/night sray

The entry way to your hotel outside and just inside the main door needs a good cleaning. The ceiling area above the main entrance roofing (forgetting the name) has bugs and spider webs all over it when you look up - not very impressive for a hotel entrance. Just through the entry way, the floor is embedding with dirt/dust in the corners - you can tell it has not been cleaned for probably months. been there for a very long time. Room was clean, beds are extremely uncomfortable. You should also have a set of stairs that lead from the lower levels of the parking lot to the main entrance - instead people have to walk up and around a steep road incline (with luggage) and through traffic in very tight areas just to get to your main entrance. The elevator wait is long, to the point it is unsafe for guests who are alone.

The King bed sagged towards the middle. My wife and I felt like rolling pins.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the D Hotel, we stayed two nights and enjoyed many aspects of the facility. It is right off 91, on 5 between the center of Holyoke and Northampton, so you’re only a short 8-minute drive to hip downtown Northampton and all the stores and restaurants it has to offer. We booked a one-bedroom suite which was nice because it has a separate living room space with a sofa bed seating area by the door. Along with the double queen beds in the bedroom, this room easily sleeps 6. Very spacious. There is complimentary hot, yes, hot breakfast that’s served every morning from 6:30-9:30. The breakfast is plentiful, it includes scrambled eggs, pancakes/french toast, sausage, tater tots/home fries, hot and cold cereal, bagels, bread for toasting, fruit, juices, coffee, milk, and mini muffins. Our family enjoyed it each morning. There’s a pool which our kids wanted to try out but we didn’t have time, along with a small fitness room and spa. There’s a restaurant on the property too, next door, called Delaney House, we found out there’s a bar inside and saw a pretty outdoor dining space. We didn’t try it, it was busy and had many diners there even on a weeknight. The beds were comfortable and pillows plush and soft. Even though the highway (91) is next to the property, you could hardly hear the traffic and we slept quite well. I would highly recommend this hotel, staff is very friendly, the gentleman at the front desk treated us like we were royalty.

The hotel was beautiful and our room spacious and clean. The bed however (king suite room) was not comfortable, it was very hard. We didn’t sleep well. For this reason alone I am not sure if I’d stay again given the great hotel reputation and price. If beds were upgraded that would make us stay again. We come to area for family and funerals from time to time. Breakfast was very good and included. We also got a 20% at the restaurant which we used and were very happy with our meals.

Nice property. Unfortunately we were placed close to the elevator so there was a lot of noise. Clean rooms, I always appreciate hardwood floors rather than carpeting. My only major complaint was the bathroom. Requires some renovations, the shower just wouldn’t work properly as the finishings are very old. Breakfast was ok.

Hotel in a beautiful location and easy to get to. We had a huge room. Quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good with a few vegan options and hot cider! Really enjoyed our stay.

This was a return stay. Service is always good here but I was in an older room and there were renovations going on next door with drilling etc. I also found that it wasn’t as sound proofed from neighbor sounds so one night was very loud from children and the next night it was shouting. Also ordered room service which lost my order and it arrived over an hour later even though it was just fries and a salad which made me late for an appointment. I would book again because it feels like it wasn’t typical for this place although last time was also bad in the restaurant.

There was one elevator and it was the slowest elevator I’ve ever experienced. The bathroom wasn’t great and there was no attention to detail whether it be the crooked tiles or poorly done caulk. The bathtub had textured strips which didn’t seem very clean and some of the metal was rusty. The bedroom floor seemed cheap and felt almost sticky. The bedsheets felt rough. The included breakfast was subpar.

I might stay at this hotel again but I would prefer to stay in a room with a heating/cooling unit that didn't sound like a jet engine turning on and off all night.

The staff was professional.

The gentleman at the front desk was amazing. I don’t usually leave reviews but he was possibly the most professional individual that I have met. He made us feel welcome, informed, and comfortable. The hotel exceeded expectations and had everything the tired road travel or couple on a getaway could want.

Check-in system needs to be improved to have some flexibility, or they need to hire enough employees to clean rooms. This hotel is not small, but only "fortunate" guests can check in on time. I was the most "unfortunate" one that day. I waited until 4:30pm (check in time 3:30pm and I arrived at 3pm) in wet shoes for my room to be ready. All the guests later than me got their rooms. Staff refused to give me an estimate time and I had to check in every 15 minutes. Why cannot assign another room? The hotel manager said maybe other hotels could, but not this hotel. I had to wait the assigned room no matter how late the cleaning was done. He viewed my comment about the check-in system as " teaching him how to work", and "he deserves respect". Excuse me, where is your respect to guests? He told me "this world is not fair". Lesson learned. I will avoid this hotel because no one can be sure that you are not an "unfortunate" guest. In the adjacent area, there are many good quality hotels with friendly staff.

Our favorite thing about this hotel was definitely the staff. Noah was absolutely amazing! We did not have a chance to try the on-site restaurant, but we've heard great things about it. The hotel was very well run, clean, the breakfast was amazing, and the service was excellent! Highly recommend

Booked this hotel for our wedding weekend and it did not disappoint! The staff was AMAZING!! The property we’ll maintained and everyone genuinely made our stay that much better !!

The hotel manager was wearing a dirty t-shirt not even a button down shirt as you would expect and he was extremely rude ! There is no excuse to treat a guest in this manner -

The property is a hidden gem and so close to Northampton that it's as convenient as any hotel in town. The restaurant was better than alot of spots in Noho TBH.

Hotel Suites and Spa in Holyoke! 5 minute drive to Northampton Colleges and The Staff and Grounds are The Best, including sumptuous complimentary Full Breakfast - best in The Pioneer Valley!! And Famous Delaney House Restaurant is right next door! Traveling Solo for Business/Leisure.

An older hotel that saw better days, but still comfortable . Off Route 5 in a wooded area, pretty quiet except for the occasional train rumbling by.

The location was great for us. Property was well maintained. The area for pictures was clean and well kept. Everything was green.

Good stay. Restaurant is closed on Mondays! Drag. Furniture in room was worn and looked beat up. There was no extra toilet paper in the room. Product dispensers in the shower didn't work but did not know it until in the shower. TV's are very small. The grounds were beautiful.

Everything was very nice except for the breakfast which was disappointing. The selection was poor and they ran out of things before they closed.

This is a fantastic hotel in a bit of a hotel-desert. Great place to stay in the Smith / Mt. Holyoke College-sphere. Reasonably priced and spacious room, with character. Included breakfast is very good, with a grind-and-brew coffee machine for a fresh cup of coffee! Bar and restaurant next door is a nice alternative to going farther afield. The bar staff is attentive and generous with the pours. Overall, a really comfortable and welcoming location.

The bed was so comfortable! The room had everything one could want: plugs for charging, mirrors, temperature control, warm shower. Breakfast was good and the coupon for Delaney House was much appreciated
