The hotel lobby when you walk in is hot; no a/c down there. The telephone in any of the rooms did not work (they told us)! There was one (1) face towel in the room. The rooms a/c never cooled us down enough. The breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had ( cereal and milk) no eggs, no sausage. I went down to guest service over 6 times for towels and toilet paper! We were going to come back after our cruise before we flew home but we canceled our reservation…:(

It was a place to lay my head for the night. Parking was attached to the hotel, which was nice. Checkin took an hour and the lobby did not have air conditioning. Staff was slow and seemed confused with checkin. The lobby bathroom needed a code to be unlocked, which you needed to ask the front desk staff for. The room was basic with nothing special. There were some stains on the carpet and walls and the fabric on the headboards was peeling. There was water damage to the ceiling next to the elevators. The pool was overgrown and closed. Overall, it was fine for one night, but it is not a hotel I would stay in again.

The hotel is old but " renters special" updated. Had to go to 4 floors to find a working ice machine. Bathroom had black mold water spots on ceilings and walls. The hallways smelled old smoke thick musty. Might need to be demolished to true renovation. That said, the front desk staff was amazing and the parking was super convenient. It is mere steps from the CFG Bank Area. That was the only thing excellent about the hotel itself.
