My family of 3 stayed two nights at this property. The hotel appears to be very modern and well kept. Our room was super spacious and very clean. We arrived a bit after midnight and was a bit cluttered and chaotic to check in due to the lack of space in front of the hotel. The valet guys are really making miracles happen in such limited space, but it makes for a cluster... you know the rest. The young receptionist seemed to be in a bit of a Marshawn Lynch mood ("I'm just here so I don't get fined"). She gave me my keys and I went on my way. Valet is done digitally and I shelled out $100 for less than 2 nights. Tips are digital and the company adds a fee to your tip... crazy right? Back to the room, it was nice. Huge closet, mini kitchenette, nice bathroom area. The shower felt great and the space was great for a busy 5 year old. I prefer fluffier pillows and a bed a bit softer, but to each is own. We still slept well and the hotel was quiet. The tv always lost signal or froze and someone set the AC to 77. It took the entire night for the room to cool down. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special. Sausage, eggs and potatoes both days. The waffle machine was broken. Only one elevator was working while we were there. My suggestion is to pick your battles when deciding to stay here. If you want to be in a convenient and clean space to walk to Camden Yard or to a Ravens game, this is definitely the right place. It's clean and comfortable, just don't expect luxury.

Fridge in the room had no control knob for temperature nothing kept in fridge was at the right temperature so nothing would have been safe to eat from there, view from room was a joke no one wants to look at trash cans, ac units or the valet lot. The pool was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, over a foot of water missing out of it was well it was so cloudy you COULD NOT SEE THROUGH IT!!! Main reason we picked this place bc of pool. Also valet here are a complete joke, I know it’s separate company but reeking of marijuana and taking 10-15mins to get your vehicle if ridiculous.

Game day at the Camden Yards stadium across the street and they appear quite understaffed. And only one of the two elevators is functioning. And there is one person manning the front desk AND the luggage storage room as the stadium empties and a line has formed waiting for luggage and another for check-ins. Once in the room, the toilet doesn’t flush. We let the young man at the desk know. He will contact the staff while we go out to dinner. Upon returning from dinner, he has not heard back from them and will call again. Toilet still blocked. No call from him. We call him and he discovers that the staff to fix the toilet has home. It takes 15 minutes for him to find us another room. The elevator takes forever but we get the key to the new room and it is an upgrade. And the single elevator back up. And the room is comfortable. The only plus for the stay. Oh, and valet was pretty on time retrieving our car.

Beautiful rooms. & hotel! But that pool was absolutely disgusting! It needs a deep clean, I celebrated my child’s 7th birthday this Saturday, you literally couldn’t even see the bottom of the pool we kept stepping on pool toys that was left in the pool, my child is autistic so he thought it was “cat fish” swimming in the water. He didn’t even want to go on a certain side of the pool because it was something at the bottom of the pool that we didn’t know what it was, I was so scared to pick it up felt squishy. Also the phones in the room did not work I kept getting the busy signal any time I tried calling front desk so I had to call them from my phone, also I’ve never stayed at a hotel and the housekeeper ride pass with a cart full of towels and toiletries and I ask for extra for my room and she tell me I have to get it from the front desk! That was very unfortunate that we had to go all the way downstairs to get towels when the housekeeper was literally right next door cleaning the room beside us.But other than the pool being dirty, and my having to go downstairs anytime I needed a towel or trash bag… Only 1 of the 2 elevators were working the 2 days I was there. Which was very annoying the first day took forever to get on and off because it was so many of us trying to use it at the same time. The breakfast was just ok..potatoes were cut different sizes so it cause them not to cook the same so some of them were undercooked. I don’t think I would come back here :(

The entire stay from staff to clean rooms met expectations. The only issue we had was there was no parking. It stated that there was parking available but when we arrived the only option was valet. This made the cost extremely high for the trip.

My only complaint was the valet parking. The valet is not $40 as advertised here! They charged us $60/night for parking. That was misleading. Plus the valet service sucked. They took almost an hour to get the car from my husband upon arrival. Then we requested the car for dinner it took over half an hour and when I told my husband to go ask about the car it was sitting out front. No one even told us it was ready. Total waste of money.

Staff was excellent. Breakfast was good. One dryer broken and the other one did not dry after 3 times running it. Pool did not look appealing, although others swam. Baltimore in general has some dicey areas....convenient to the ball park.

My stay at the Hampton Inn Baltimore-Downtown-Convention Center was disappointing. From the dirty rug to the stained sheets and towels. In the bathroom, there was a dark substance that could possibly be mold. The room smelled like smoke, even after booking a non-smoking one. Also, there was a non-functioning item - heater. As far as maintenance is concerned, there was peeling wallpaper, and a broken elevator. Shedding the light on the service received from the Valet: Unhelpful & rude staff, the app was used to request my vehicle. When the app notified me that the vehicle was ready for pickup, I went to the valet desk where there was a gentleman standing there using a mobile device. I stood there patiently waiting for him to acknowledge me and when he did I presented the message that showed my vehicle was ready for pickup. He just looked past me to the outside and simply stated it's not ready yet. So I waited, after waiting for what seem like an eternity another gentleman showed up in a vehicle for someone else. The first gentleman asked if that was my vehicle and then he spoke to second one who then approached me and asked to see the message in the app. Then I had to answer a series of questions about the year, make and model of my vehicle. Then he walked off around the corner. When he returned he pulled out a bunch of keys on some sort of hook and asked which one was mine. After identifying me keys he handed them to me and told me my vehicle was around the corner.

The room seemed to have only a quick clean before we checked in, there was cigarette ash on the floor, along with chipped off nail polish and finger nails, we brought it up to the front desk, they were very nice and sent someone up to "reclean" but they still didnt vacuum the floors. The front desk was very nice!

Great location for Orioles baseball. Fabulous breakfast - well stocked - lots of cold and hot variety. Unfortunately we moved the couch in our room so we could sit in front of the window. The carpet underneath was filthy with food scraps, dust, etc... The staff came promptly to vacuum but high end hotels should be spotless!!! I will never be able to get that image out of my mind. Otherwise it was a great 3 days and 2 nights of baseball. GO ORIOLES!!!

The bedding was not clean, and one of the rooms I booked had mouse droppings. Told management, and they didn't seem to care. Moved my colleague, but that was it. The rest of the staff was terrific.

My son says to me, "Did your bed smell like poop, because mine did." Peeling back the blankets and sheets, there was a spot that smelled exactly as he described. I immediately called the desk. Waited 40 minutes for housekeeping manager, after no-show, we left. Staff was apologetic, but this experience was gross.

Cons: pull out bed hadn't had sheets changed and they were visibly dirty (they did immediately come to change them), chip crumbs on bathroom floor, shower floor wasn't super clean, room had a little funky smell, have to pay for parking (metered or $45 for valet/parking garage)

Things I liked about this hotel was the location (across the street from Camden Yards, very close to inner harbor), spacious clean room, comfortable bed, acceptable breakfast. Things I didn't like, no hot water in bathroom sink(reported but they never came to fix), could not get on wi-fi. This was a personal preference, but I do not like the bathroom sink outside the bathroom. Bathroom should be completely enclosed for privacy and noise control.

The staff here were very friendly and the room was nice enough but had some wear and tear. Very conveniently located but on a weekend... really LOUD. There was some hotel room party happening in the room next to mine and I had to call security multiple times. They were responsive, but it was annoying

Our dark our blinds didn’t pull down and we have a flood light in our window. We called maintenance at 2 am, they came immediately, couldn’t fix it, said they would be back and never came. It was very hard to sleep.

Perfect location for the Orioles game! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was hardy and they were on top of refilling the coffee, which is of course the most important part of breakfast. We were on the second floor and so it was a bit noisy outside at night after the game (to be expected in this area) but if you are a light sleeper you may want to ask for a room on a higher floor. Shout out to the valet crew who were hustling like crazy to get everyone situated before the game. They were a well-oiled machine! Overall a great experience and we’ll be back!

The hotel was very nice and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking situation was absolutely unacceptable. Arrival was chaotic and they lost our keys. The manager was not interested in helping us and even threatened my husband. I realize the two are separate, but if that management doesn’t change it could make people not want to book in your beautiful hotel. That would be a shame!

I have never been so insulted in my life. This morning I woke up, came downstairs for coffee and breakfast. Had a cup of coffee, went outside to have a cigarette before I ate, my wife was inside getting her breakfast. When I came back in I was going to grab another coffee and some food when one of the staff RAN over, stopped me and told me I was not allowed in the breakfast area, I asked why, he asked if I was a guest, I said yes. Ate, went upstairs and packed up to leave, came back down to check out. The same staff member was checking me out and asked how my stay was, to which I responded great until 10 minutes ago when you tried to stop me from eating. He said the general manager told him to do it, so I had him go get her. I questioned her as to why she had him stop me and reply was “we get homeless people all the time, what do you want me to do?” I was wearing nice sweatpants and hoodie, it’s morning at a hotel. But I hardly look homeless. She could not have cared less. Horrible attitude and no concern that she completely insulted a Hilton Honors member. 4 thumbs down!

I wish I could give a negative rating for this place. We stayed for four days, and despite repeatedly requesting room service from the front desk, no service was provided throughout our stay. On the final day, I informed the front desk that the room had not been cleaned for the past three days, even though I had requested it multiple times, including twice that very morning. The front desk staff was extremely rude and unprofessional, telling me, "There is no room service available, and the most we can do is send someone to take out the trash. We checked in online the day prior to our trip. Called and told them we had a late flight, but would be there. When we arrived at 1am they informed us they had nothing available. The desk attendant was very nice and handled the situation as well as he could. They were able to find us another room at a nearby property.

I waited too long for check-in. There was only one employee at the front desk, and he had to go back and forth between the front desk and the inner space several times to attend to a single guest's request. Hotel staff and valet staff were all so friendly and helpful! Breakfast was very good and had a nice variety of food items. Only suggestion I could make is to have more than one hand towel and some washcloths in our room. I advise finding a garage to park in other than using the valet they have. Everything was backed up and we waited 30+ mins to get checked in. Upon leaving we waited over an hour for them to fetch my car. Would not recommend the parking arrangements they provide. Check in itself was pretty quick. The bed wasn’t the best. Everything was clean which was great. The continental breakfast was kinda horrible. Very tight seating, only 1 waffle iron. So a long line to get probably the only edible thing there. Would suggest going out to get breakfast. Definitely not worth it. Overall I’d probably stay at another hotel.
