For the price, it’s not bad. However on our second day there, the fire alarm went off. Worst timing as we had just got back and my daughter was just getting in the shower. We grabbed our stuff and ran outside. Fire trucks came, false alarm. Tired of waiting so we went down the road went shopping, whatever. But then - that same night, around 2am the fire alarm went off again AND AGAIN around 630am. Needless to say we didn’t get good sleep. Also should add - right before bed, the cops were there outside our window chasing someone down. Unfortunately with the lower prices, it brings in rift raft. Without the constant fire alarms, I would have given it another star.

Stayed 1 night

I was on a trip to be with my dying mother. All hotels were booked up in the vicinity of where I needed to be due to the Black caucus going in Washington DC. The Sonesta select was the only one that had a room left the superior king suite and it showed to be promising apon looking at the site. When we arrived and went to the room. It was horrible. The bed was unlevel head going down hill, there was mold on the wall behind a chair. The furniture every piece was stained up. Went back to the front desk and went to look at another. It was better but due to the fact I was unable to find another hotel we took it. When we returned back to the room after seeing my mother we realized we needed to stay an extra night I tried to call the front desk to extend another day. I found the room phone didnt work. I called on my own phone and was told I needed to wake up and come down to the desk between 5am and 6am to reserve another night or go on the website and do it which i was told if I did it on line I would have to pay another $150. For a damage deposit I set a alarm and went to the desk to reserve the second night and found out the big made to orderbreakfast that was advertised was was not there only
