pool and breakfast was great

Great experience. Only issue was I wanted a king bed but they apologized when we arrived that they only had 2 queens but offered to give me comp Marriott reward points and keep room at same price so we took it. The room was quiet and clean. The hot water ran out pretty quick but they had a free breakfast and the pool and hot tub while small were clean and working. Very close to Arundel outlets and lots of food and shopping.

Stains on the floor. Pool was in maintenance and was so over crowded.

We loved that there was an indoor pool and exercise room! Breakfast was pretty good for a complimentary meal. They give you a variety of options. Even when breakfast hours were over, they had Coffee and tea in the lobby for the guest. The hotel staff were so welcoming.!

This property is the only one in the area that charges for parking. Will not stay here again due to this totally unnecessary daily $10 parking fee. I was so annoyed that I drove to 5 nearby hotels, and none charged a fee. Parking charges are outside of the Hotel billing and an added stress to travelers. Was even a flatbed tow truck hovering in the area a lot. Money grab by parking lot owner or something. Hotel and staff were great. They offered codes to cover the parking. Would be 5 star rating if not for the inconvience of the third-party parking BS.

It was a pretty hotel..liked it a little away from Maryland Live.. chose this hotel for the pool and Horus for my family but someone had put too much chemicals in it and they shut it down.. very disappointing

I LOVE THE IDEA OF BEING CLOSE TO ATTRACTIONS AND RESTAURANTS. I WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT THE HOT TUB WAS NOT IN WORKING ORDER. STAFF WAS GREAT. COURTEOUS AND PLEASANT.

I would have given this property a higher rating; except for the fact that; this particular location doe not have it own parking; you have to go "online" and sign up to pay for your parking during check-in. There was no mention of this in the Reservation. I do not understand why the hotel wouldn't just add the parking to the Hotel Bill and charge it all together. This will keep me from ever staying there again.

The staff was very good and the place was very clean.

This is a great place to stay close to the airport tons of parking, extremely clean staff member that checked me in was so kind and personable. Breakfast was great. The room was sparkling clean. A great place to stay close to the airport.

Uncomfortable beds. Room stunk like a wet dog or dirty socks.

The hotel is in need of a major refresh. Carpets (hallway and room) are stained and have a strong odor. There were stains on the mattress and bedding. The staff was great and accommodating when I requested to change rooms due to the strong smell of urine.

Woke up and cut the light on to see roaches on the night stand. Staff only said we will take care of it.

I checked in this hotel on the 1st and checked out on the 1st. I regret purchasing my room at a nonrefundable rate. The hallway and room smelled moldy, and old. The carpet had brown stains in it. The walls were marked up. I thought I could stay the night and then move hotels the next day but when I pulled back the covers the sheers and the comforter were stained. I literally started to break out in hives. This is a nice area so I expected better. I ended up at Cambria down the street and it was much better. I am sad I wasted $900 on this place.

My family and I arrived just after midnight while traveling from out of town. Before we even arrived, the gentleman working the front desk around 12 a.m. Saturday attempted to charge my card, despite my reservation being set to “pay at property.” When the charge didn’t go through, he made sarcastic comments about my card and said he was about to give our room away. His attitude was rude and unprofessional. The room itself was also disappointing. There was hair in the bed, the pullout couch mattress was stained, and the blanket smelled strongly of chlorine. Overall, not a good experience.

Beds were very dated and uncomfortable, didn’t have a goodnight sleep the 3 nights there… There was hair all over the bathroom and on the shower walls, very horrible housekeeping…

In a quiet area of a busy part of town. Suites are nice separate sitting area with little kitchenette. Tv rotates so can see it while in bedroom as well. Arundel Mills Mall huge many many stores and multiple restaurants 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk.

Overall great hotel for a night or two. The free breakfast was not the best as it just cheap packaged foods. Bed was also very flat and old. Seemed like the mattress was not replaced in a decade. Overall it was a 2 / 5 stars due the bed, room being outdated and super average breakfast. However staff was super friendly and great location to Live Casino and area. I would pay extra to stay at Live Casino or other casinos next time.

The room was right behind the elevators and could not sleep well

The hotel staff was super pleasant and professional. The room was designed well. We loved the layout with separated living and bedroom spaces. Loved the fridge and microwave in a little kitchenette. The included breakfast was yummie and had fresh fruit, an oatmeal bar with a number of great mix ins, waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels, breads and muffins. Parking was free and close. The common areas were clean. Zero complaints. The hotel is close to all kinds of food, shopping and attractions. A gem!!

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The front desk person was wonderful. After flying all night, she allowed us to check in early in the afternoon. We were so appreciative.

Great staff, affordable, clean. However, the a/c units in the room are quite noisy. Makes sleeping a bit hard in the summer, since you need the cool air.

Need new mattresses and pillows!

Only 1 complaint. The bed was terrible!! I slept about 3 hours all night. Even laid on the couch because it was more comfortable

Cleanliness of the hotel. Friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff like Johann, Anthony, and Shaneesha. Clean surroundings within the hotel. Good amount of breakfast easily available.

Check in was easy and fast, front desk person was professional and helpful. Me amd my family enjoyed room and bought a few items from marketplace. Overall was a great stay.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The front desk person was wonderful. After flying all night, she allowed us to check in early in the afternoon. We were so appreciative.

Rude unprofessional dont know what they are doimg and just want to shift blame when a mistake is made but unapologetic and 0 knowledge on how to correct it. Act like you are bothering them. Poor poor customer service. Unqualified

My husband and I had just gotten married the day before our stay & decided to have a mini honeymoon at this hotel for the time before we could go on a real honeymoon. As soon as we got there, I was turned off by the attitude of the lady at the front desk. I've stayed at other Marriots before & had the pleasure of dealing with very friendly staff but didn't have the same experience at SpringHill. Once we checked in, the room was nice & clean but noticed that the tub had been slow draining from the start. Fast forward to our second night, I ended up slipping & falling twice in the tub with my husband needing to help pick me up. There were no anti-slip mats or anything in the tub. I reached out to the front desk right after. They asked if I needed medical attention & I declined because my hip didn't feel too bad at first, so I felt an ambulance would've been unnecessary. Further into the night, my hip grew more swollen & I was in pain. The next morning that I woke up, I was in much more pain & my hip was still swollen & turning into a bruise. We were supposed to check out that day so we were getting ready to do so. When i told the front desk again what had happened, I was then turned over to the supervisor & told her what had happened. I felt quite uneasy with the way she delt with me. The way she looked at me & talked to me made me feel llike she thought I was lying. It felt almost hostile.The room & place itself wasn't bad, but the service has much to be desired.

The property and my room was very clean and well maintained. Checkin was not the best. The agent was greater me and asked if I was checking in. I said yes, gave him my name, but then He puts his head down and started texting in his phone while I was standing there waiting. I then said Hello are you texting because I thought maybe I missed something. He then said rudely, “ Yes I am. I’m scheduling my son’s hair cut appointment if that is alright with you!” I use to work for Marriott for 15 years so I know that this was not the appropriate way to greet a customer. Very disappointing start to a otherwise great stay.

Overall the hotel was fine. Very conveniently located near malls, restaurants & entertainment. I would recommend.

Great place to stay, right across from the mall and a great shopping plaza.

Close to Arundel Mills, clean room, great stay!

Hotel is located very close to Mall and Casino and lot of good eatery and restaurants around. Hotel and rooms were super clean and hallways were quiet . Hotel front desk folks were super nice and helpful. Breakfast spread is also decent and fresh. Will definitely go back and stay at same place if visiting Maryland again

Great hotel and very convenient location. However, the industrial park that shared the entry road seemed a little sketchy.

The check-in was quick and the front desk staff was professional and friendly. The room smelled fresh and was clean. The breakfast had a variety of options and was tasty. There was no hot chocolate out, but when I asked about getting some the breakfast staff brought me some to my table. She went out of her way to make sure I got what I needed. All the hotel staff is like that and that is why when I am staying in the Baltimore area, I love staying at the Springhill Suites in Hanover, MD

I liked the breakfast and great coffee. The room was large and comfortable.

No hot water for the shower, the mini refrigerator didn't keep water cold, the breakfast was cold. Bacon was cold and looked like a long scab, eggs were nasty and sausage was gross as well.

We stayed here because the room size(sleeps 6), free breakfast & pool. But I wish I have noticed that you had to pay for parking. Also I was disappointed that there was no fan in the bathroom & no waffle maker for breakfast.

Walkable to mall and restaurants. Friendly staff and good breakfast.
