Incredibly friendly staff, well maintained amenities (they have a peloton bike!), and it seems like care is taken in the day to day operation of this facility. Great wi-fi too, and a problem free stay overall.

We stayed a week at the hotel and found it very enjoyable. The only one complaint I could find was the indoor pool closed for renovations; however the outdoor pool was open everyday and heated so the kids still had every opportunity to swim and play. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather, had it been rainy, it might have really been a bummer. I'm sure the renovations will be worth the wait.

Resort was beautiful rooms were very nice and large staff was very friendly Its definitely walkable but wish it was a little closer to downtown Bar Harbor we are brisk walkers and it took at least 20 mins Shuttle was very convenient and ran every 15 mins

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. The daily breakfast was outstanding. The view from our ocean front room was amazing. The hotel was in an outstanding location, close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. We were under impressed with Bar Harbor but for those wanting to take advantage of a typical tourist town, the location was close enough but not directly in the middle of the hectic small city. The only inconvenience we experienced was with the elliptical in the workout space. It did not function properly.

This property was along the Island Explorer route and that made it very accessible to the DT Bar Harbor area. The staff was very friendly especially the front desk staff, Liz was extremely chatty with the kids making them laugh. The food at the bistro was actually the best we had in Bar Harbor even over Galyn’s and Paddy’s. The pool and hot tub were clean and nice also. The cleaning crew made a swan out of our blanket we purchased from Acadia and that made my kids so happy!

We loved our room and private balcony with a view of the ocean. Our bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to help whenever we had a question. The ice maker was broke and they delivered ice right to our door. The heated outdoor pool was so nice with plenty of chairs and towels provided. We will definitely return here again!!

Very clean, beautiful view of the ocean perfect to watch the sunrise and lots of things for the kids, nightly s'mores by the campfire with friendly staff. Boat tours with kind guides, trail mix making after breakfast with helpful staff, milk and cookies, souvenir making. However the restaurant was ok but the service was slow. And a few of the staff were not very friendly.

The hotel is cute, right on the water. The problem with our stay was we had roaches in our room. Saw several in the bathroom and then found them in our bed. They moved us to another room, no problem. No apologies. Customer service here is rude! Manager didn’t care. Breakfast was decent but for the price of the room it should be. Would not recommend this place. It was dated and gross. There are nicer places in town to stay where they will treat you better.

The property was nice, but even out of season, the room was pretty pricey. We were in town one night for a wedding. The room seemed clean enough, but it was in need of repairs. Trim by the doors was broken and dirty. The ceiling looked like it was damaged and repaired poorly. The bathroom ceiling tiles were falling down. By the time we got to our room, we were so tired that we didn’t bother contacting the front desk. It was just a place to sleep for the night. The staff was nice and the breakfast was decent. The view was nice.

This is a clean, quiet hotel near Acadia National Park. The service was wonderful. The breakfast variety was very good. The only drawback of staying in the newer building is that you have to walk outside to go to breakfast and use the indoor pool/hot tub in the main building. Overall, it’s a great place to stay when visiting Bar Harbor.

The staff was incredibly inviting and friendly. We loved the amount of breakfast options provided. The grounds were well kept and beautifully designed. We were on a ground floor and did not enjoy the amount of noise heard from the tenants above us.

Great ocean views. Convenient out of town location. Was there for personal travel not a conference. Facility was in okay not great shape. Wall paper in room was poorly applied, some towels had holes. Bed was lumpy. Room and facilty clean. Staff was friendly and responsive. Breakfast, while basic, was good with broad range of offerings.

Our room had multiple defects. The shower rod was bowed down (not out) and so the shower curtain didn't close at either end. The sink didn't drain - I had to jam the soap dish under it so the sink stopper would stay up and the sink would drain. The TV remote control volume control didn't work at all (the channel changer did work - just not the volume control). The area was beautiful and the staff was very nice.

Shower handle was broken. Broken coffee maker but I fixed it myself. We rolled our suitcases in the room and the people below us complained to hotel that we were stomping on the floor. We just walked in the room with our suitcases. Either the other guests were jerks or the hotel doesn't have great sound barriers.

The hotel was excellent, the room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the view was magnificent. But the staff made it - reception were excellent, one of the maids (Beverly) & the gentleman who was cleaning the leaves with the blower (sorry didn’t get his name) were great & had lovely conversations. My only real criticism was breakfast - the room was very hot & crowded & no toast & limited healthy options. The Bistro food was excellent but my criticism would be the waitress although charming didn’t write things down so got the drinks wrong. Overall it was an excellent experience & would recommend staying here.

This property is located in the perfect area for viewing the sunrise. The property was nice, but the bathroom was a little dated. The staff was not very welcoming upon our arrival and not helpful with storing our luggage, as we had arrived early to explore Bar Harbor. They seemed put out when asked if we could store our luggage. They told us we could not store it when we arrived. We ended up having to keep our luggage in the car when exploring the town. We returned to the property and a different staff member eventually made accommodations to hold our luggage (behind the counter) until our room was ready. This was the first property we had ever stayed in that did not accommodate luggage storage.

This was our second stay at Atlantic Oceanside Hotel. The view of the water is beautiful and the staff is so friendly and see to your every need. On arrival our sink had a faucet issue. Not only was it fixed right away but the maintenance person left a handwritten note apologizing for any inconvenience. It was a 4 mile drive to the entrance of Acadia National Park and 2 miles to downtown Bar Harbor. We had a great stay.

Our stay at Atlantic Oceanside was perfect in every way. The room had the most beautiful view of the Ocean. The sun rise was stunning and even the sunset reflected across the clouds as the full moon rose across from our room. The bed and room were very comfortable and the bathroom equally as nice. We loved the indoor facilities and used the hot tub after hiking Arcadia. One of the best parts was the breakfast. It had great food including breakfast flatbreads that were a real treat. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Conference Center! The complimentary coffee/tea station was such a nice touch and a perfect pick me up. The whole property felt very clean, and the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming and attentive. The restaurant was great and the complimentary breakfast had an amazing selection! The views from our room and the whole property were breathtaking. I’d love to stay here again!

Clean and beautiful hotel, great views of the ocean. We travelled with. Little kids and were able to hunt for shells at the small pebble beach right on the property. It’s convenient to bar harbor and Acadia. Breakfast had gluten free options. Overall a very thoughtful and wonderful hotel. Would definitely stay here again!

Very happy with our stay. Very convenient location next to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Clean rooms with a nice view. Beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Did a take out order one night from the restaurant and it was good and nice to have an easy dinner option if you want to stay in. The breakfast every morning was very good and also very nice that it started at 6am so we could get to Acadia for early hikes. Parking was right outside our room so couldn’t have been better. No complaints! We would def stay Here again!

Loved everything about our 3 night stay. Our room was spacious and clean, and we loved our view from the balcony. All of the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was incredible - would come back again just for that!
