Great location in a great town. The hotel is right in town making access to all Bar Harbor has to offer easy. Not an issue for us, but the lone drawback could be a second-story room if you have trouble with stairs as there is no elevator. Great place to stay!

What a delightful boutique hotel! Our 3 night stay was excellent in every way. We were within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants on Main Street and a short drive to Acadia. The owner and staff provide so many amenities- beverages, games, books, bikes, hiking trail maps, ice machine, hot tubs, small relaxing areas, and great recommendations for your stay. The omelette station was a great option for breakfast. Highly recommend.

Acadia Hotel did not disappoint! The staff was incredibly friendly and even provided us with maps of Acadia National Park, which came in super handy. The hotel offers plenty of amenities like bikes and hiking gear, all of which are easily accessible. The location is perfect—everything is within walking distance, including great local restaurants and shops. They do offer a light breakfast, but if you’re looking for something more filling, I’d recommend checking out a nearby diner. Overall, our stay was amazing, and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Bar Harbor or Acadia National Park!

The location is the best part of this hotel. The rooms are clean, the gym is ok, and the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. But the location allows you to access downtown Bar Harbor with ease and it came in super handy on a rainy day.

Great location! Park your car in their ample lot and then leave it there because you can walk everywhere (or ride one of the loaner bikes!) The staff were always available and ready to answer questions. The free breakfast was very good. In the lobby they have various gear available to borrow such as binocular, trekking poles, and coolers. Our only complaint was that the hot tubs weren't very clean so we decided to skip that but I'm sure if we had let the staff know they would have taken care of it.

The best thing about the Acadia Inn is the location, directly across from the main square in town and very, very easily walkable everywhere! The free parking directly behind the hotel was very much appreciated! Also very convenient location to Acadia National Park. The hotel is really cute, just could use some updated decor in the common areas. The area where they had breakfast and the bar were beautiful. We would definitely stay again!

Acadia Hotel was conveniently located to everything we planned to do in Bar Harbor. We did not move our car at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was part of the wrap around porch so in the evenings after a long day exploring the park we sat on the porch and drank a little wine or soda and people watched. We saw other guest also utilizing the porch or seating area in the front. It reminded me of a place in a Hallmark Movie.

Very clean, EXCEPT for a soiled towel that was on the towel rack when we arrived (caked with what appeared to be fresh lipstick). Safe, Except that the lock on the front door was hard to lock from the inside and there was no bolt or chain as a backup, which left us unsure if our door was secure. The bathroom door did not stay closed, repeatedly opening while taking care of business. Wires hung down from behind the TV. This minor issue could have been fixed in seconds by cleaning staff, but was not. The shade on the front door didn't provide adequate privacy (a somewhat minor point). Topping it off, the parking area and driveway had not been plowed after receiving about 10 inches of snow several days before our visit, making parking and getting in and out of our vehicle a bit challenging. This issue remained unchanged during our two night stay. A couple kids with shovels could have fixed this in an hour or two. The private entrance was very nice and the room itself was nice overall. It was very convenient. Unfortunately, some things here were being neglected.

From the moment of check-in to checkout, the entire staff was kind and friendly and helpful. Besides that the building was in incredible shape and so nicely maintained. The gardens outside by the Parking area or just a nice added touch. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Walking distance to town is one minute

DO NOT STAY HERE. Pictures do not show what’s really here. It’s very dated, old, damp. The carpet throughout is filthy. The carpet in our room was always damp and disgusting to walk on. The sheets and towels stained, and the sheets are the poorest quality. Pillows are old flat pancake pillows. Nobody cleaned our room after our first night. The second day they cleaned but did not clean up the leak from the old hand soap bottle that has been used by countless guests. There was also a pile of dirty towels on a chair in the lobby outside our room. Completely unsanitary. There is a bar set up in the lobby for coffee and drinks. I picked up a wine glass that still had lipstick on it. Not clean. I will never stay here again.

Our first time in Bar Harbor. This is a nice little inn with friendly staff. Property is well maintained. Only downside is the room was very small. We had a king size bed with less than 3’ on either side. Closet is only a foot wide. We had 2 large bags and there was no where to store them. There is a headboard attached to the wall that was not comfortable for sitting. The bed was comfortable for sleeping. Baked goods for breakfast were delicious. Eggs were only so-so. But you don’t go to Bar Harbor to sit in a hotel room. This is a nice convenient place to rest your head after a fun day in the park or village.

Everything was great. We LOVED our balcony and location was perfect. The shower/bathroom was a bit small and I would’ve loved to have another middle outside the bathroom, but we would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

The room we have had the tiniest bathroom i had very seen. Very uncomfortable to maneuver in the shower. Their remodelling of the room didn't consider the use of bathroom at all. As soon as we see the bathroom, we decided to checkout earlier. The manager was very accommodating. Refunded us the second night charge. The hotel is super clean and friendly. Unfortunately, the bathroom is designed terribly, don't know how guests could use it comfortably.

The location is great, across from the town square. The on-site parking is extremely convenient. It’s an easy walk to dozens of shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. Only glitch is the rooms in the main building which face the street can be noisy at night. But that wouldn’t stop me from staying there again.

It was very loud. The walls are paper thin so I could hear everything outside our room. Every time anyone walked around we could hear it. The noise kept us up both nights. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were paper thin. Overall disappointing.

Great location in the heart if downtown Bar Harbor. Bed was comfortable and room was decently spacious. Staff was attentive. Free breakfast was good, omelet station. Only downside was that our room overlooked main road and it was noisy early in the morning. Would have been nice to have romm darkening shades.

We loved the big room and the outdoor deck. It was bright and clean with comfortable bedding. We loved the walkability to restaurants, bars and shops. Staff was very personable and attentive to any needs. It is right across the park from a fire station. We only heard 1 call and it was in the morning. Our son’s a fireman so we loved it. Will definitely stay here again.

We were very unfortunate to get a room where the shower did not work properly. We stayed three nights and had trouble each night. By the third night we had very little water pressure and very hot water that we couldn't control the temperature. Brought it to the front desk that night .We were told maintenance had gone home. Told the front desk the next morning and she let it slip that they had trouble with the shower in our room.If it's a problem don't put guests in it until it is working properly.

This hotel is very over-priced for what you get. It does have a very good location - easy to walk everywhere in Bar Harbor. However, furnishings are like a cheap beachfront motel. What I loved about the property: location, updated rooms, free parking and breakfast. That being said - we were put in room 2 next to the front door and were frequently woken up by the door opening and closing. I found myself tired during the day from a poor nights sleep. It was disappointing for this to be the case when on vacation and spending a fair amount of money on lodging. I requested a room change but this was never followed up with by the staff.

From the moment of check-in to checkout, the entire staff was kind and friendly and helpful. Besides that the building was in incredible shape and so nicely maintained. The gardens outside by the Parking area or just a nice added touch. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Walking distance to town is one minute

Our TV did not work at all, but the manager provided compensation after I called to request a refund a second time. We rated the staff lower because they sent someone to "fix" the TV twice, and then were surprised it still wasn't working. We would definitely stay in the place again because of its location and hot breakfast.

The location is great, across from the town square. The on-site parking is extremely convenient. It’s an easy walk to dozens of shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. Only glitch is the rooms in the main building which face the street can be noisy at night. But that wouldn’t stop me from staying there again.

Great location and love the ice water in the lobby area. Parking was easy as was getting to and from the Park. My wife and I don't eat breakfast, that is our problem for sure but we do enjoy a good cup of coffee and it was awful at the hotel. The service in the lobby area was spotty, one of the front desk employees was lovely but another just seemed annoyed every time we saw her and that should not be the case at $500 a night for a room!

Wonderful stay for one night. It was a small room and it was just me so I was ok with it. I’m not sure how comfortable the room would be with more than 1 person. But it was a comfy bed and the people working there couldn’t have been nicer.
