This is a motel, not a hotel. The promised hot tub did not exist- it had been filled with concrete.Breakfast was a joke. Some kind of egg medallions and sausage and waffles. The counters wirh the meager food were dirty. Not a piece of bread, muffin or bagel in sight. No fruit.There was orange juice-apple juice dispenser was broken. Pool water was cloudy- refused to go near it. While there were dispensers in the tub, body wash and shampoo were empty. Hair everywhere in the bathroom. thus the title.

Hotel is high priced for the adjoining hotel and guests that stay there. The other hotel on the grounds was a little run down and made us a little nervous leaving at night. Pillows were very small and not very comfortable. Hotel was clean, pool was dirty, so we did not use it.

Not as advertised. Hot tub broken. Elevator broken. Window wouldn't close properly, road noise loud. Both body wash and shampoo dispensers were empty. The bed was comfortable though. There are better choices nearby.

They advertised hot tub and heated pool. Neither were working. Elevator broken but not a biggie, just had to walk up 1 flight of stairs. Could be a problem for someone with a disability or elderly. They didn’t tell us elevator wasn’t working until after our rooms were assigned. Clean.

The hallway to my room smelled of wet mold. The odor was strong. The toilet kept draining all night long. The toilet was also wobbly. There was hair on the conditioner bottle in the shower, as well as the small face towel by the sink. On the other hand, the front desk was nice and very accommodating to my requests. The breakfast was okay for the cost of the stay. It would be convenient if there were usb ports for the chargers on the nightstand/lamps.

First room we got was still dirty from previous guests, dirty towels and garbage, bed still messy. Went down and the lady at the front desk was extremely apologetic and sincere and offered free upgrade. Went to second room and was met with a god awful odour in the room very damp and musty … dirty around the tub, toilet and sink. Stains on the bed and what looked to be some kind of excrement smeared on the wall beside the mirror. We left and asked for a refund. Once again lady at the desk was very apologetic and put in for a full refund. Will be following up with Expedia and hotel to make sure we get our refund.

Room was quiet, bed comfortable. Soap dispenser in shower was empty and hard to push. I was told at the desk that it was full, but hard to push soap out. Well, it was indeed hard to push and was indeed empty. Shampoo was half full but again, couldn't push it out. Large hole in drywall of bathroom where door handle had punctured the wall. Planters with weeds, no real flowers. Desk receptionist at check out was standing outside the door smoking. Took our room cards from there. Pleasant woman, but stinky.

Staff were very friendly. The hot breakfast was good. We had a room with a balcony. The stairs leading up to the room were lined with cigarette butts. There was a pile of cigarette butts in the corner by our door. The chair on the balcony was broken. The blackout curtain had holes in it. The floor inside the room was so dirty that my husband’s feet were black. The waste basket in the bathroom was cracked. There was no body wash in the dispenser in the shower. The sheet on the bed was torn. The pillows were very small and floppy.

Still trash in our garbage in our room from past guests. Someone’s tumbler was left in there. Not even sure our room was cleaned. Pool water was cold and murky. Got double charged for our one night stay. Thank god that was the only night.

The room we rented was a standard room, 1 king bed. When we got into our room the bed had a horrible large stain on the bed that was wet and went thorugh to the mattress. The ceiling had leaked onto the bed.

Room was very dated. Had some cobwebs. Bathtub was very discolored. Bed was nice and comfortable. The staff was all great. Just the hotel was dated. I guess i'd expect this room to be around $120 vs the $180 we paid. Also, the hot tub is no longer there even though it is advertised on hotels.com

Great rooms, quiet and clean. The pillows on the beds are ridiculous. They are tiny square pillows that have almost no stuffing and zero support. For $200 to $250 a night at a place that SLEEP is the primary use, the pillows should actually be pillows and not tiny square slightly puffy pillow cases. Honestly, the more I think about it, the more disappointed in this lack of a primary amenity at a hotel. NO STARS for the pillows....this amenity NEEDS ADDRESSED.

The facility is a typical mid level hotel. Very quiet, clean and has a great onsite bar for late night beer and munchies. The only issue, and for me this is big....the pillows on the beds are tiny square pillows with zero support stuffing. Our only typicka reason people get a room is to sleep. Pilows should be at the very least, a typical 20" x 28" standard pillow with some support...honestly I feel that queen beds deserve at least 2 queen pillows and kings deserve 2 king sized pillows. E tra pillows should be available too. 2 nights and spent over $400....I shouldn't have tiny useless pillows.

Facilities were in deplorable conditions. Badly in need of updating and all over remodeling. Room was never updated and probably from the 70’s. Room was clean. Hallway light was burned out so darkness was prevalent. Hallway to room, concrete was moderately repaired and faulty. The walls are zero sound proof. We phoned down to the front desk a couple times and the lady was very quick to come up and knock on the door next door to warm them... finally at 3am they got evicted due to having a full on domestic with 5 kids screaming in the room all night and the cops showed up. Noone in the hotel got any sleep. We could also hear the neighbor talking through the other side of the wall. If you want sleep - don't stay here.

The beds were straight up AWFUL. Mini pillows, no headboards, horrible mattresses. Half of the tv channels had no sound. It was just extremely overpriced for the value.

We found the body wash to be empty when we showered the first day. To spite assuring us our room would be cleaned daily we returned late in the afternoon to find housekeeping had not cleaned our room. The manager said that they had left for the day but brought us clean towels. When I mentioned it to the front desk staff on checkout they rolled their eyes. The pool and hot tubs were both cloudy and smelled off. Beds were comfortable and the rooms are a good size. Overall I would have expected better at the price point they are charging for the room.

Not staffed properly. Front desk clerk was only one on duty during check in times and working very hard to get a line of people in and answer phones at same time. Next day for breakfast (a Saturday) only one person trying to prep and get food out and make sure supplies were available (plates and utensils) for another longer line of people. They both did their best but clearly were frazzled trying to keep up with the demand. Another person helping both would have made everything run much more smooth and less stress for them both. .

The property was order than I expected but was clean and comfortable so no complaints. The staff was friendly. Extra shout out to the breakfast buffet attendant, Regina, for her exceptional friendly hospitality!! She was wonderful and we enjoyed talking with her.

Easy access to the highway, Birch Run outlet, and lots of dining options. The bed was very comfortable. The decor and upkeep of the rooms (chipped paint, wall stains, etc) could use improvement. Overall was an good, affordable place to stay and enjoyed the hot breakfast.

We liked the location, right off the expressway. It turned out that this hotel was combined with another, Days Inn. Possibly the hotel recently changed hands. Great beds and pillows. The one downfall was there was no body wash or shampoo in the dispensers in the shower. When the desk clerk was notified her answer was, "Oh." We went and bought some for our use. Great location with easy access to Frankenmuth without being in the middle of everything (our choice).

This is a great hotel when visiting Frankenmuth. It isn't far from the town, and it is cheaper than the hotels in the immediate area. There is a convenient gas station nearby and you can be back on the interstate in less than a minute. The room was clean, and the beds were good. The pillows weren't the best but having 4 on each bed helped. The breakfast was decent with several options to choose from. I would stay here again if in the area.

Close to Frankenmuth with in a 10 min. drive but far enough away to be away from the crowds. The only problem was I wish the bar on the property was open but they didn't have any staff to run it so it was closed on a Saturday night.

This property was clean and quiet and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our only disappointment was the breakfasts. We were there for three mornings and the first day was decent. Not a lot of options, but enough even for the celiac in our group to find something to eat. The next morning they were out of some options and the third morning they were out of most options (including milk for cereal). When you advertise (and are more expensive per night presumably because you offer) a hot breakfast, you really need to make sure you keep items stocked for the entire week.

We had a great experience here. The staff was very friendly and personable. The hotel and rooms were clean. It was nice that they had a hot breakfast of: eggs, pork sausage, bread, English muffins, bagels, muffins, apples and bananas, yogurt, waffles, cereal, juice and coffee, etc. Yes the flavor was not top-notch with the eggs and sausage, but it was better than all carbs. The pool is small, but there is also a hot tub which is nice. There were a lot of tables, and a few couches to lounge around on. We had hot water, good water pressure, and the bathroom was clean. We will definitely come back again!

I have been in better best western plus hotels, noisy by the freeway (which was not stated). The breakfast was a joke, same stuff every day not much of a variety, no snacks or pop to buy. The refrigerator stopped working. I would not go back .

Pool was not opened for the day at the scheduled time, aside from toast, yogurt and one apple, all other breakfast items were fully depleted within the last half hour of availability - no eggs, no sausage, no cereal. It was just OK, but probably would not choose to stay again.
