To be completely honest, this hotel isnt one I'd book if i had a choice. I came into town for the CB concert and everything was booked up, extremely overpriced or too far out. The area outside the hotel wasnt ideal, there were straggglers clearly not staying at the hotel just hanging out in the parking lot. Otherwise it wasnt a bad stay for a night. The room/bed was clean. The biggest perk was the free shuttle service! Free parking and a breakfast option was also a nice touch, they only got food were waffles. If you're on a budget its a decent place to stay. Staff i interacted with was nice.

The parking lot is really small to being with, then you add the shipping containers that are scattered around and it limits the limited space even more. We watched serval cars do 9 point turns in order to try to fit into a space without causing damage. The next day when leaving, cars were completely blocking the hotel parking lot. When we went in to ask the front desk if they could page the cars to move we were told it was staff and they were in parking spots. We attempted to let the staff know we couldn’t acesss their parking lot because of the way the cars were NOT parked in parking spots and they refused to help. We couldn’t check out fast enough. Rich and Ken are the best thing about this place.

It said wheelchair accessible, but the there was no elevator. You have to utilize low stairs to get to the wheelchair accessible rooms. My fragile uncle could not take the bumping of the stairs even though they were low.

Convenient location for event held at Little Caesar’s Arena. No fridge in room and was in need of a remodel. Comfortable bed. Decent tv channel options. Had to use a hair clip to hold the curtains shut for window next to bed shows indoors hallway view.

We got to the hotel and there was a sign stating that they would be back in 10 minutes for check in. The other couple there had already been waiting about 30 minutes and then we waited another 20 minutes before anyone showed up. Good thing about this place is the free shuttle to the stadium and the driver is awesome!

The room was terrible.. their was several bugs in our room.. the toilet was leaking our entire stay..room was dirty.. no soap to wash our hands the bed linen was dirty we had to go to Walmart to buy fresh linen and pillow cases … there aren’t any elevators and we stayed on the 3rd floor so we had to walk with our bags and luggage … the hall ways are extremely hot there’s no air.. overall the stay was horrible and there is absolutely no parking we hated it

Condition of the room was disgusting. There was safety deposit box in the room no proper security on property and there was bedbugs. I was bitten all over my arm. I had to change to another hotel due to the noise, pollution and nightly traffic all nights from people loud noise and music and smoking of controlled substance.

This hotel was awful. Everything was dirty, there were stains on the sheets. All that is on the bed is 2 very thin sheets. The pillows felt like they just stuffed socks in a bag. No hot water on one of the days we were there. Tv remote didn’t work. Constant loud clunking in walls. Very thin walls and can hear everything in rooms across hall. There was a large window in the room that looks directly into the hallway across to the other rooms, and no other window in the room. Felt unsafe. There was a homeless person knocking on doors and followed us out of the hotel asking us for money as we left one day. The staff were actually very nice but that was the only good part.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!! We had bugs in the bed, halls and rooms smelled like chemical deoderizer and human urine! Bed sheet had a huge stain in the middle of it! When we told the front desk - they apologized, but had no other rooms to offer as they were sold out and it was too late at night and there was no housekeeping to clean the room. Manager was not available that late at night either, or anytime after that night when I tried to call and speak to them about a possible refund (either partial, or full since we left the hotel due to the room condition). Escalated through Expedia Travel Team, and they were unsuccessful at obtaining any kind of refund from the hotel as the manager hid behind their "no refunds - NO exceptions" policy. We had paid an outrageous amount ($350) due to a large concert @ Ford Field and everything close to downtown was either sold out, or even more outrageously priced ($600 ). To top it all off - hotel held on to a $50 deposit for 21 days after our reservation date!

Let me start by saying, this is by far the most disgusting, deplorable, trashiest, embarrassing loathsome, sickening, nauseous, repulsive, revolting, repugnant, abhorrent, detestable hotel have ever stayed in. We checked in at 5am and checked back out at 11am. From the moment we walked in we knew we were in hell, the bed was filthy, the bathroom sink or shower would not drain. I contacted the front desk about the room and they couldn’t, wouldn’t, didn’t accommodate us. I took a 700 dollar loss by checking out with a fine print of “no refunds for cancellation or early checkout.” That is how they get you, robbery! The pictures on the website is false advertising and I will be damned if I ever stay in this hotel again.

We have stayed here before and the facilty was very outdated and the floors were uneven and dirty. This stay was worse. The facilty is still outdated but this time our room looked like it had not.evembeem clea.ed. the bed was dirty (hair and dirt on the fitted sheet), toenails on the bathroom floor, orange peel in the main living space, mirror was filthy, ect. When approaching the office the manager did not seem phased and offered to move us with attitude. I explained to him that we were just going to a different hotel and that was it. No offer to comp a room or apology just "ok have a nice day". Will not be returning to this property again.

We checked in and left within 20 minutes. Located in a sketchy neighborhood and there were no parking spaces left. We had to drive around the block several times. And they’re all one way streets. When we finally checked in; on the way to the room the carpets were so dirty and stained. Couldn’t find an elevator, just stairs. Our hotel room had a window to the hallway which was so weird and curtains were almost see through. The Room smelled so bad of cigarettes, the walls were dirty, the ceiling/wall above the curtains had stains/food on them. The headboard to the bed was also dirty/stained. We had to get out. It made us feel itchy and gross the few minutes we were there…. We left and went to the casino down the street.

For the most part it was fine. But there's no elevators so my elderly father had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to our room. There was only one tiny trash can in the room which was pretty inconvenient as well. There are large windows facing the hallway for some reason, gave a feeling of lack of privacy and security.

Well the hotel overall was clean but the wifi was terrible and the TV DID NOT WORK. I was told that someone would be down to fix it. The person who supposedly went to see about it told the clerk that it work fine. But when we got back to the room it still wasn't working. I think he was sent to the wrong room but none the less we were not satisfied with our stay.

Its a perfect below average hotel. I threw them a curve ball with early check-in, Jade was fantastic to accommodate. Our room itself was pure romance. Had a window view of the hallway.It served its purpose of storing my bags while i hit the town. Coming back tipsy made the uneven floor even.

My room had no refrigerator as advertised. The light above the sink did not work and the sink was plugged up when we used it. Hotel offers shuttle service from 4pm to midnight but when you call for the shuttle Ken is super rude on the bus, we ended up order 2 Ubers to accommodate our group instead of having him pick us back up. The woman working the front desk was an angel, absolute top notch customer service.

The carpet was worn and dirty. staff were very friendly and courteous. I do want to say that my purse was kicked out of the vehicle, left in the parking lot and the staff kept it in a safe place and bagged up, My daughter retrieved it almost a week later with nothing missing. Kudos to the person who found it in the lot and turned it in to the front desk. And much appreciation to the front desk staff for keeping it safe until it was picked up.

My daughter and I were in town for a concert and I chose this hotel based on the location to the Arena. It was very close and convenient. It is an older property but it was clean and pretty well maintained. The beds were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean, the room itself was on the smaller side but still big enough for 2 people easily.The breakfast options were pretty good and the staff was very nice. I would stay here again if I were in town for an event.

Staff was great, room was comfortable, parking was free and easy and a nice breakfast too if you get there early enough. About an eight minute drive from downtown, perfect place to stay for us and our trip. Even gave us a late (noon) checkout! We will be back for sure!

Property is undergoing some renovation so carpeting in some areas is dirty. “First floor “ is actually a few steps down and feels like a bunker with low ceiling. Rooms have no windows and feel stuffy, ours had a strong odor. Front desk didn’t give my license back at check-in. They didn’t call or let me know that they had it. I didn’t realize it until I checked in at our next hotel so I had to drive back to pick it up. Very inconvenient. Breakfast area is very small compared to the number of rooms so some guests didn’t have a place to sit.

There was no wifi in the room. Even after reporting this to the reception no action was taken. I was travelling for work, and because of this wifi issue could not work from the hotel at all. Breakfast was very average. Common space and stairs need to be cleaner and smell free.

We stayed here during afronation Detroit and we loved the service and staff friendliness. They offered us a free shuttle on Saturday from 4pm to midnight. As well as complimentary breakfast every morning. The hotel is located in downtown and budget friendly. I would recommend it!

This looks better in the pictures than in real life. The smell of pot was evidence everywhere. The sink didn't drain well at all. Room was ok but not what you'd expect for the money. Hallways were dirty and not well kept. Eating area and food for breakfast had lots to be desired. For the money, go somewhere else.
