Nice room. Condiments not available at breakfast. My husband had to find plates to put on the counter for breakfast, as there was no staff to assist. Shower door very difficult to open and close. One elevator slowed things down.

We stayed on the 3rd floor while the hotel was under construction (2nd floor). There was no disruption or any significant noise to dampen our stay. The front desk staff (Bri, Fran, Danielle and Tamika) were all extremely friendly and helpful and May the breakfast attendant was amazing and efficient and made breakfast truly enjoyable. I would definitely stay at this property again. The only potential issue was the parking lot which seemed limited if the hotel was full.

Although it is a non smoking hotel someone was smoking pot. The smoke came though the vents. The staff did the best they could to eliminate the odor. While the property was newly renovated, the contractor did a poor job. The shower door wouldn’t shut properly. Other poor workmanship was evident, such as the face of the dresser drawer fell off. In 4 days, there was housekeeping one day. I was expecting daily housekeeping. The check in and check out process were ok, somewhat slow though. The key did not work the last morning, and the keys needed to be re-made for the last 3-hours of our stay. The breakfast was good. The fitness center was nice. The pool and hot tub were well maintained. But I had to request towels, because of high pool usage.

This hotel was great! The parts that have been remodeled are very nice. The room was comfortable and there was a very nice breakfast. When we reserved our room, we were unaware of the remodeling and that we would not be able to access the pool and hot tub. That was a little disheartening, but I would highly recommend that people stay here!

Very nice and clean staff was nice. The food was OK. Pool and hot tub was awesome again very clean.

We called since we were coming in about 8pm. Tamika answered the phone. She was friendly, and let us know no problem with a smile on her face. When we arrived Tamika was welcoming. That put me at ease immediately. Having coffee /tea available upon arrival was great after a 4+ hour drive. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, and it was quiet 😀. Loved there was hot tib and pool along with outside seating (tables and chairs and couches). Even a bbq grill available. This will definitely be our "place" when we come to visit. Thank you

We rented at this property while we were in town visiting family for the holidays. We typically stay with family bur this time I gifted a hotel reservation to my kids so tjey could have dun while we were aeay amd swim and enjoy breakfest for the weekend. When we booked I did see that the proprty was under construction. What was not noted was that the pool and hot rub were also fown at the time during construction. We didt find this out until we called to see if early check in was available. We ended up cancellimg the second night and drove hime late at night after visitng with family. I would really like a partial refund for my stay as this was a big inconvenience and ruined our get away overthe holidays. I dont travel often because I am a single mom as it can be costly. The one time i decide to do something nice for my children,it was a huge let down,unfortunately.

The pool and hot tub were great and well kept. Main issue was on Sunday NO Hot water to get a shower. The complimentary breakfast was edible and hot. I had stayed here before and there was no issues so why I booked there again.

There was no hot water during our stay. No apology or offer of reimbursement. I paid for a clean room, hot shower, etc. I did not get the hot shower nor hot water to wash and clean my hands or shave. What is wrong with hotel service these days? Marriott, you owe me a free stay. Brian Norman

Room was clean and the hotel was quiet. Front desk staff were excellent. Free breakfast was nice. The only problems we had were our keys stopped working suddenly on the second day, but the front desk reprogrammed them right away, and the elevator broke the last night of our stay into the day we left, so we had to carry all our items downstairs to leave, which thankfully was not a major issue with just two of us.

When we checked in the elevator and hallways were so dirty. Our first room had a massive hole punched through the bathroom with black mold and a dirty shower. We were then moved to a second room that didn’t have a working furnace. Breakfast was so bad my kid puked in the lobby because of how rancid it was. To top it all off we know nothing was getting clean because an old bra was in the hallway for 3 days.

Still being renovated but room is clean, very comfortable bed, great shower/water pressure. Good breakfast with hot food and big variety. Friendly staff.

We could not get housekeeping services out entire stay, the rooms are outdated and not clean ie stains on the carpet, drapes and walls.

The staff nice my rooms shower I had to clean My self in both room the carpet had food on top as if it was not vacuum I picked it up with tissue the lobby they take pride in vary clean pool I feel they take pride in the outer then the room

The location was great, however the hotel not so much. Upon arrival the desk staff member was a very nice woman who I felt slightly bad for. It is clear she is over worked and as the front desk person she gets the complaints from guests and it was clear she had already received several by the time of my arrival. So check in was fine the lobby area looked nice.... Get to my room and the door opened kinda hard and it sounded like it was breaking every time we opened it. The room had not been vacuumed, the bathroom had not been swept or mopped. Our bed sheets and comforter were dirty and had crumbs all over in the sheets aswell as on top of the comforter, Bugs in the window ledge, bug on the shelf unit near the sink, bugs on the heater unit, the microwave was disgusting along with the fridge, the hot tub in the room was dirty and paint was comimg off of it. The mirrors were also dirty. I went and let the front desk woman know, and she just looked at me and said we have no housekeeping staff. And just looked at me and said I can give you sheets, hum sure I can make the bed, then i said well if you have a vacuum i will vacuum it, she said they dont have vacuums there. So we went and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the room. When we went to use the hot tub in the room the jets didn't work, and the paint just kept coming off so that was gross. Down at the pool area the hot tub was like brownish and was not working. The pool had so many chemicals in it that the water was cloudy

Pretty good hotel room and decent breakfast. Some hair in the shower and on the towels. You can hear the road noise and neighbors but it wasnt too loud. Some of the grout on the bathroom floor was coming loose and it was a little sharp to step on.

I only didn’t like the curtains that didn’t close. We had parking lot bright lights coming thru the white sheers. Not at all fancy, looked pretty old.

Loved the room--it was very spacious and clean. The walls seemed a bit thin, but nothing major. The only real downside here was the renovations inside, which meant some things weren't accessible or not as accessible, but that was made clear upon check-in. It's also a nice location if you don't want to be in the city proper but still want to get around easily. I would stay again!

The room was clean but the noise level was awful. We could hear EVERYTHING that our neighbors were doing. Banging, tvs, running, adult activities, whole conversations from other rooms.

TV didn't work. Staff tried for 45 minutes to fix it by rebooting etc, it never worked. Undergoing renovations (eg room numbers were on sheets of paper taped to the walls). The toilet flush is extremely loud and overly powerful. Staff were kind and helpful and did their best. Signage is overly discreet for an out-of-towner trying to find it.

Newly renovated hotel & incredibly spacious rooms!! I felt like I had my own suite! Staff was amazing and so kind! Pool, patio area & gym were all awesome! Had an amazing stay, and will stay again

The jacuzzi room was big and comfortable. However our tv did not work and the jacuzzi had a stain which made it a bit uncomfortable to use it. The staff were extremely friendly and nice. The breakfast was ok.

The check in experience was great! The woman who assisted us that day was wonderful. Appreciated the breakfast. Thin walls made it very easy to hear room neighbors so we didn't get the best sleep but overall a good experience

Bathroom was very large but sink counter was very small not enough space to put our things on. Bed is very comfortable but the air-conditioning didnt work well wouldn't get cold enough. The breakfast not so good. Ive had much better breakfast at the Hampton n Comfort inn and other hotels. Small selection and girl making breakfast is not friendly or approachable. The front desk staff are awesome! Two complaints sink counter to small was very annoying n the breakfest not so great! Lots of construction noice.

Very poor customer service

I rarely write negative reviews, but I felt compelled to after my experience at this hotel. We came into town for a funeral and booked two nights, specifically requesting a room with two beds. I even called ahead and was assured that this would be available. When we checked in, I didn’t double-check since it had already been confirmed on the phone — but when we got to the room, it was a king bed. I called the front desk and was told they had “upgraded” me because rooms with two beds were overbooked and none were available. That wasn’t an upgrade for us — it meant two adults and a teenager were expected to share one bed. I asked for a cot and was told one would be brought up. I had to call twice more for the cot, but no one ever called me back or followed through. When I finally went to the front desk in person, the staff admitted there were no cots available at all. As a result, one of our family members had to leave and stay with relatives. We considered doing the same but were told the hotel would not refund us for the second night, even though they failed to provide the accommodations we reserved and confirmed. This entire experience felt unacceptable. At a minimum, I expected honesty up front and a willingness to work with us when the hotel couldn’t deliver what was promised. Instead, we were left stressed and uncomfortable at a time when we really needed reliability and compassion.

Bre at the front desk was amazing. Our entire stay she was very accommodating and sweet. She made the stay so delightful and met all of our needs with a smile. The house keepers were such a pleasure. We couldn’t thank this hotel staff enough!

Staff told us they would have house keeping come in and did not. Assured us multiple times on separate occasions they were coming. They never did. No managers on site. Beds are different heights, shower didn’t work properly, door didn’t lock, had to ask for pool towels cause there was none. Went to enjoy pool before we checked out and it was closed 8 hours for cleaning. After two days of a headache we checked out to find out they charged us again on a pre-paid room… every time we talked to any staff nobody knew what was going on or how to answer our questions. Everything was blamed on the remodel. Ruined our trip.

This property took my money for a room I did not stay at and told me there’s nothing they can do until there manger comes!!! I need my money! I have covid and the lady never called me back!!!

I didn't find out about it being renovated until after i booked. When we got there, the front door was blocked off. Again, no warning. Then trying to find out where to enter was super confusing as there were no signs. When we fid manage to figure it out, it was super sketch. No one was at the door, so anyone could just walk in unnoticed. Then when we managed to find the front desk, waited for like 5 min before being helped. She was a bit hostile. Then gave us wrong directions to the elevator. Room was super cold, no heat. Still waiting for my deposit a week later. Not a pleasant stay.

Would recommend at least one healthier breakfast cereal option. All three containers had heavily sugared cereals therein. Otherwise, the location worked out great, as it was easy to sneak in the back way to the Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise. Did not deal with traffic at all. Will stay here again next year.

Place is under Renos. But didn't seem to do any harm. Nice location, a lot of food vendors and options within a short drive.

We loved our stay other than the continental breakfast. The mini omelet wasn’t good. Cold eggs, sausage that had no good consistency, and he was there for breakfast at 6:20am.

The room was clean. The front desk staff was courteous. It annoys me to no end that I have to request daily room cleaning. I requested for every day and the cleaning staff left early on Saturday so I was unable to get service that day. I asked for towels from the room cleaning service one day and they told me to go to the front desk to request towels. This is the second Marriott I've stayed at that the conditioner was empty upon my arrival. This is beyond annoying as I have curly hair and conditioner is necessary. The breakfast on Saturday was rather paltry. The waffle making machine was broken and there was no alternative offered and they were out of cream cheese for the bagels. There wasn't any topping for the eggs either, such as cheese or salsa. On Sunday pancakes were offered, cheese and salsa was offered, cream cheese was available.

The GM and all staff were friendly and inviting! The only disappointment of the stay was the free breakfast. I love waffles and for some reason the waffle maker was not working, per the tenant/worker taking care of the breakfast. Would stay again for sure.

Started off rocky. Had booked a double queen and they tried putting us in a king with a pullout couch. Not what I had booked. Got to the room and there was only one towel. No service the whole time we were there. Asked for more towels the last night and was told that they might be able to find some… Breakfast was alright but two of the mornings everything was cold. Cold meat, cold eggs… All in all, wouldn’t stay again.
