Had a short family weekend getaway and the hotel was what we needed. The rooms were clean but our room did have a musty smell and the carpet was damp and I saw several reviews that said the same thing (which can be expected in a beach town) pool was nice but the pool room was extremely hot. The hotel is very conveniently located to several fast food/stores and just a short drive to downtown.

I was disappointed in the pool and hot tub. I was pretty much irritated by the chemicals on my skin from the hot tub and the strength of the chemicals in the atmosphere was very strong.

Was very disappointed that the carpet in our room #106 had stains and some by the refrigerator were very sticky. Just gross but we only stayed one night. Breakfast was ok. No packaged oatmeal was disappointing for those of us who do not eat animal product or sugar. Suggest turning on the weather channel and not Fox entertainment channel. Staff was very nice at front desk.

The room smelled so badly of smoke or must or something. Called front desk who said they would talk to manager and we never heard another word. Ended up buying febreeze to spray carpet and chair fabrics which helped immensely.

The room wasn’t set up well, especially for having a four-person capacity. The space for clothing was limited. The carpet is in desperate need of either being replaced or a deep cleaning. The bathroom was cleanish; there is pink mold on the walls of the shower and the seal around the tub leaks. The fan is nowhere near powerful enough for the small space. There is nowhere to hang wet towels and washcloths. Since housekeeping staff doesn’t come into the room daily (which was fine), I called the front desk to ask what we could do with the wet towels. She didn’t seem to understand why it was a problem but the idea of leaving wet towels in a heap for two days didn’t make sense to me. We tracked a housekeeper down and gave her the towels; she was very accommodating. The breakfast bar is limited but you can put something together to get out the door. On the plus side, the water pressure in the shower was great and the bed, sheets and pillows were very nice.

The rooms need to be renovated. Specifically, the carpets, curtains, and bathroom fixtures. The carpet is has mildew. You can visibly see mold on the curtains. The fixures are too old and don’t work as they should. All of the employees were polite and helpful. The beds were not very comfortable. The TV’s have the Youtube app available but the Netflix app is not, even though it’s on the remote. Even though the staff was friendly and this was not the worst hotel I’ve ever been to, I wouldn’t book here again.

My family stayed here for a sports event in Ludington. After we left Sunday morning my partner and children had many bites all over their bodies . We checked with doctor and told there are bed bugs. Terrible how we have to make sure we can do everything to keep them out of our home . Super upset

We were impressed by the size of the room we stayed in. The small living area with a good-sized refrigerator was a bonus. We were only there one night and did not use the pool. Room keys and elevator worked perfectly - not always the case at some hotels. We will definitely stay there again.

It was very noisy. I must have had a room next to a utility closet or washing machine room. I kept waking up every hour to my entire room shaking, bed, floor, walls. And lots of kids running up and down hallways late at night and early in the morning.

This is a dated hotel, and the hallways were very dark. It looks like there have been few updates for many years. The stairwells also smelled like smoke. Our room was very dimly lit, but the beds were good. The ice machines were out and we had to go looking for ice. It was also way overpriced…$708 for two nights. We wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

We definitely emjoyed our stay here. The only issue we had was our room seemed to have a weird odor. The gentlemen at the front desk, Wish i would have asked his name(second shift on 7/18/25) was very attentive to our issue. He imediately got us another room with no issues whatsoever. The other room had a similar smell but was not near as bad. In the end it may have just been the cleaning agent being used as the room we were in the smell eventually went away. They should probably address this as some people may be more sensitive than others. In the end though we enjoyed our stay here. The amenities were excellent and the breakfast was good. If you have pets this is also a great place to stay. They have a small area in back you can at least have your dogs off leash for a little bit. The best though is there is plenty of room and grass to walk the dogs which is a big positive for us. They also have the most reasonable ad on price for pets in the area. You can't beat 10$ a night per pet. Overall we enjoyed our stay and with a very friendly staff we will definitely stay here again when we come.back.

We booked our stay through Expedia and we booked a suite for just 2 adults and when we got there they only offered us a kid suite. This was never mentioned when I booked the room and when I talked to the front desk, they refused to do anything about it and basically said sorry about your luck. The lady even told me they had actual suites available but they gave us the kids suite and said it was too late to change. I felt we got taken advantage of and will NEVER use choice hotels or Expedia again!

Pool was dominated by teenage boys who were incredibly loud, endangered others, and were unsupervised. I asked that the security lock on my door to be fixed. It took 3 days. My room was not cleaned after my first day. On my last night my room was flooded when another guest broke the sprinkler in his room. I had to move, with no assistance, to another hotel.

Stay was ok but not great, especially for the cost of the hotel room. Breakfast was decent with scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, waffle maker, and cereals, bread, yogurt etc. Room seemed clean except the pillows didn’t smell fresh and our toilet took forever to fill. We were on the third floor which had an unpleasant smell in the hallways. Also, we got back late from a long day and our room keys didn’t work. So we had to go down to the front desk and get new keys and the clerk didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. So overall it was ok but I probably wouldn’t go back.

We have stayed at this Comfort Inn several times. It is located in the most convenient place, just east of the city of Ludington right on US 10. Plenty of major stores nearby (Walmart, Meijer, etc.) and Ludington is right on Lake Michigan.

What i like about Comfort Inn at the Ludington address is the perfect location accessible to restaurants hospital gas stations shopping stores. Lots of parking available in well lit spaces easy access into building with key card. I will stay again.

I was in town for a work function, and it checked all the boxes. Safe, clean, quiet, and comfortable! The gentleman assisting me at check in was cordial and friendly, it was quick and easy. We were in town for a single night for a wedding and this hotel was convenient for that venue location. We liked that it was close to town, as well, clean and close to a McDonald's for breakfast on the way out of town the next morning. Staff was very nice at check-in and on the phone.

Overall a great stay. The pool and spa were open and there were always fresh towels available. The breakfast offerings were decent and even toward the end of breakfast there was still food available. The breakfast area was a bit cramped during peak breakfast times.

Everything was great: the front desk staff, a clean room, a great breakfast area and huge pool that was a hit with the kids. Small issue with our room at check-in but it was quickly dealt with and the front desk was kind in the process. We’d absolutely stay here again.
