The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, with pool towels provided. If looking for a hotel close to the beach this is the perfect location. The beach is visible from the hotel and an easy short walk.

Parking was weird but worked out, it was on street parking. Loved having a swimming pool.Loved lower floor accessable room. I was given extra towels when requested but not the toilet paper I asked for, perhaps they only heard towels. I would stay again. Excellent location.

The property was really close to the beach. Had issues with the room. The situation was handled poorly. Had to go to another property to speak to a manager. It was resolved after 3 room changes, but much time lost due to this. The pool and hot tub is amazing.

Limited parking, very steep difficult steps to second floor. The second building placed in difficult to access, no amenities and hard to find. Front desk didnt explain well layout. If you’re a young active person it will do fine for a night stay but not more.

Great location, great price. Hot Tub needs renovation, basically zero jet action, but it was hot and clean which still felt great after a day in the sun. We'll be back! Very clean, very comfy and very hospitable!

When we got in, we noticed a puddle of water in front of the toilet on the floor. We notified the front desk, and the person there said there is no maintenance available to deal with it but she would note it so that we are not deducted for it. We told her we would put some of the motel's towels there to keep it contained. The potential for possible raw liquid waste did not appear to be any concern.

This is one of the worst days I have ever had. From the outside it’s a darling brick cottage. Inside, the floors are uneven and buckle. There’s carpeting that’s filthy in the building is musty. There is no way the room was cleaned before we got in. There was dried toothpaste in the sink. The floor was filthy as you can see in the photo. The bed is an old spring mattress with springs that are popping through and creek every time you move in the bed. The whole. needs to be gutted.

It was an average stay at the pier house, room wise, the location was absolutely amazing right by the beach but the only down fall was the cleanliness was not good especially in the bathrooms.

The location was perfect. The facility was poor. I dont mind outdated. But wet carpet area, damp room making clothes damp, and mold species (likely penecillium/aspergillus on the backside of dresser and inside dresser (found on second to lady day) was and is unacceptable. The place should be professionally cleaned remediated and cleared via CIH Clearance tests before serving to the public again.

We had a room that has a narrower than normal door and hallway to the room. I had to ask to have the toilet cleaned as it had ring of deposit around the water line - I was not happy about it.

Loved that my room was off of a quiet side street and that the doors never slammed, they "clacked". Room was neat and clean. This property has an amazing variety of rooms. Great pool too. Will be staying again.

Spending $300 a night on a room that is the size of a broom closet was absolutely ridiculous. The pictures do not do justice as to how small this room actually is. The door just to get into this tiny bedroom felt like half the size of the regular doors. The bed was so noisy that every time we moved, we could hear the squeak of the mattress. The room was so small there was barely any room to walk around. It literally felt like I was in a cheap $70 motel but no I was actually in a nice hotel right by the beach for $300. This room also had a window air-conditioning unit that was so loud that laying in the bed at 5 AM I was woken up to the extremely loud humming of the air conditioner. It felt as if my ears were literally vibrating, and I couldn't turn it off because it was 85° out. I don't think I will ever stay with them again. The bathrooms also look like they don't vacuum, especially in the corners because there was hair accumulated in all the corners. Way too over priced and you don't even get a view of the beach.

An older motel that is maintained at a very good level of cleanliness. It is, however, certainty not updated to any modern level. Even the pillows and mattress, though clean, were tad lumpy with wear. My two biggest issues were with 1) equipment 2) management. Coffee did not work and this was verified when I took it to housekeeping and they could not get it to work. And I was not offered a nee one. TV remote would turn on tv but not change channels and no way to do manually on tv. When I informed them of this they said sometimes guest add their streaming info and that makes the remote to need re-programming. Again, I was not offered a different remote. Just expected to live with it. Lastly, I mentioned the noise in the walls after talking a shower and was told it was just water hammering. 2) When management was told of all this I was meant with a blank expression. No attempt at all to express concern or compassion and absolutely no attempt at even saying sorry much les try yo address issues. Felt like ti was a “thanks for paying us, too bad you had issues.”

Two towels were provided, we needed to ask for additional towels daily despite being a party of 4. One roll of toilet paper was in the room upon arrival and was not refilled by the cleaning staff. We needed to go to the office to get an additional roll once they opened for the day (8am).

Not only were we charged several times for our room for two nights by the hotel and through Expedia but also we were locked out of our room for several hours hours on the second night due to our key not working and the guy working at the front desk just kept telling me there was nothing he could due to call the energy # so I called it about 50 times leaving multiple messages til finally someone called me back and she tried to get ahold of the maintenance guy and he wouldn’t answer his phone either then finally after several hours of us being stuck in the rain and in the hallway soak and wet cold and tired the guy shows up at 2am to finally let us back into our room. It was the worst stay I’ve ever had

At its price point and location it was great. It’s close to downtown but feels fairly secluded. Didn’t spend a lot of time in the room but the bed was comfy and the room cleanly. The owners of the hotel were friendly and check in and check out was a breeze.

When we received our room keys found rumpled beds obviously room had not been cleaned. Went back to the office and was told that we were lucky they had an extra room for us. We returned from our outing and found that the Tv didn’t work but the office was closed. Went down in the morning and found the office wasn’t staffed and the coffee pot was empty.

Was quoted 1 price through Expedia; at hotel price was $20 higher. Foreign-speaking agent did not appear to understand my Expedia confirmation. Online, hotel advertises free breakfast which I typically look for. The reality was a coupon to use at nearby restaurant for “ buy one breakfast, get second half off.” And, this was only for 1 day of a 2- day stay. Very misleading
