Good value. Good location just outside Grand Marais. Family suite had 2 rooms and slept 6, which was what we needed. Person at the desk was friendly and personable.

Breakfast was pretty weak. Super tiny breakfast area. Had to go down the road to a sister hotel to use the pool and hot tub, which was not real convenient. But the price was very good, room was clean, and I guess you get what you pay for.

Rooms need updating bad . There was no microwave and the refrigerator was broken and taped together . On a good note the staff was attentive and friendly . The room was clean and they provided plenty of towels etc .

Staff never showed up to open the main building where breakfast and coffee was to be served. We waited for 20 minutes with other guests outside before we left to get our own. Not a fancy place by any means, hot tub was broken, deck had a fire and was never repaired, just a hole in the deck you could fall into. Didn't expect much for the price but come on!

Stayed there in the past, was not what it use to be. Mice in the room, mold on the ceilings and peoples hair.
