Sheraton Minneapolis West Hotel

I loved the Starbucks station in the lobby every morning, that it was dog friendly, comfortable beds and convenient lication.

Free parking easy access from the interstate. They have a pool and hottub but the hotel opens to the atrium so it gets loud. The hotel was full of kids sports teams so the pool was full until closing and that made the hotel loud until the pool closed each day. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast that was the same as what most hotels offer as their free continental breakfast. It was $21 plus tip for adults if it was not included in the room price. The room was a king and was clean and decent size. The shower/tub was a normal size and clean. It did not have a lot of pressure like most hotels.

The indoor pool and the way the hotel is set up were awesome! Will stay again when I go see my friend again.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Pool is warm! Hot tub is awesome! Hotel is quiet, clean and lovely. I’ve stayed here before and will do so again!

Good property. Unfortunately the elevators were out. On 1st day only 1 of 2 elevators were working and it didn't look like there was any repairs happening. On our last day both elevators were out.

Quiet, relaxing, clean, nice fitness room & pool/hot tub area. Convenient location.

Great place for families or sports teams to stay. The pool is in the middle of the hotel so it does get loud. It was fine for me because I could peek out of my room and look in on my teenage son in the pool.

A room was very clean and spacious. The hot tub was actually hot this time and the people at the front desk were extremely nice and the bar was a lot of fun.

The rooms are older, must smell. The con webbs are not cleared. Too many behind curtains. Stayed for 8 days and house keeping only made beds. Never cleaned bathroom, no vacumming, or mopping bathroom. Beds were comfortable, room temp was able to be managed.

Overall the hotel and room are really nice and clean. The bed was really comfortable and the room was quiet and vent when the fan kicked on. Thank you! Staff was great. It could use a little updating in some public areas. Nothing bad, just looks worn. The Club room had great choices on snacks and drinks. I will definitely be staying there again. On a side note- I used to clean rooms there back in the late 80’s, so it was fun to go back!

Sheraton didn’t live up to the name. Rooms have a moldy smell. The staff were extremely friendly and professional.

My bathroom had long hair in it as well as a soap dispenser broken in the tub and water on the floor. Not detrimental to our stay. Very comfortable beds.

This is the second time I have stayed at this Sheraton & the room temperature was 68°. I attempted to adjust the temperature & there were no changes. In fact, the temperature was 67° when I woke up. I tried to call the front desk using the in room phonen but received a message saying that number was no longer in use. Super disappointed & will find another hotel to stay at where I can adjust the temperature & have the knowledge that is there is an emergency I can reach the front desk.

A/c not working in room

I booked the room solely for the hot tub and pool. I was not notified before or at check in that the hot tub was out of order. The movie channels did NOT work nor did Fox for our football game. The rooms were nice and clean and the beds were comfortable

Bed was comfy, room was clean. TV very old & streaming choppy. Ironing board was very old & rickety, could use a new cover.

The furnishings in the room were old worn out and wiped. The wall paper was patched. The tub shower were out of date

The hotel was easy to find, nice location and large parking lot. The staff were nice, and lobby was big. We stayed on the first floor. The room numbers have an awkward layout. We had a room that was by the pool. It didn’t have a chlorine smell to it. Only cons: one more light in the room would have been nice to make up for not being a nature facing room (who wants to look out at the indoor pool?), the room’s ac only decreased to a certain temp, and no channel guide. No huge cons. If you’re looking for a bedside outlet, they’re below the top shelf of the nightstand (kind of hidden).

Room was clean. Could get the AC working was stuck at 72 degrees the whole time.

A/C in room did not actually cool the room. Despite being my check-out day, Housekeeping began knocking on my door at 8am (then again at 9a and 9:30a), despite me advising them at 8a I was checking out later in the morning. Just not a restful stay…at all.

Room was very clean. Checking in was great, checking out wasn’t great. Waited in line to check out, 2 staff members were there helping one woman-no one acknowledged the 7 of us standing in line all waiting to check out. Eventually we all just left our keys at the desk, with little acknowledgment at all

I booked a room that wasn’t available so I got an upgrade for free with the help at the front desk Maria. She was so helpful and amazing customer service.

It’s an elegant hotel with spacious, modern and clean rooms. The fitness facilities are excellent. The service in the Atrium was excellent. Our only issue was with the reception staff. At check-in they were not very welcoming and when my Canadian VISA card (which I had used to prepay the room online) wasn’t accepted by their machine for the incidental fees deposit, they got a bit frustrated with their equipment and the process was a bit annoying. In the morning we called reception to find out when the pool opened. They told us 8 am but when we went down for a quick swim before checking out and getting on the road it turned out that the pool only opens at 9 am on weekends.

Everything was excellent!! The entire place is BEAUTIFUL!! I walked in and my jaw was on the floor. I mean I don't stay in super 8s, usually hyatts or the equivalent but this place is gorgeous! If you're here looking for a place not downtown that has its own parking that you don't have to pay for, this is it. It has a huge parking lot, a pool, if you're silver at hotels.com your breakfast buffet is free (they didn't recognize it at the front desk so I just had to show them my email receipt stating I get it and they gave me breakfast vouchers.) The elevator is just fine. The entire property is clean, there were people cleaning the whole time we were there. The rooms were great. I just slept and showered there. I didn't even turn the TV on. There was plug in and USB (I can't remember if there was c) charging by the bed. The bathroom counter was huuuge and the mirror was perfect to do makeup as it was lit around it. And it had a pull out mirror to catch the imperfections. If I had to nitpick I'd say the only thing is that the water pressure in the shower could of been better. That's it though. Everything else was perfect! When we went downstairs for breakfast in the morning the waitstaff was VERY accommodating and friendly! Gosh, I don't know how there could be any negative comments about this property. Drew at the front counter was so welcoming and when turning in my cards the next morning he was still so friendly! This is a hotel I'll definitely return to!

The front lobby staff was absolutely excellent. I would go out of my way to stay here based solely on how amazing they were. Fantastic pair of young ladies who care about the guests. Will recommend this location

Super friendly and helpful staff

There were toddlers and small children in the whirlpool tub, and they were loud and rowdy. When we were able to get in, the whirlpool tub did not actually work—the water was cold. All of the guest rooms were hot, with the thermostats reading 75 degrees. The staff did not seem to care about anything. One of the front desk staff was extremely rude, accusing us of having a barking dog when we did not have a dog with us. Then she said she was going to charge me for the dog. The breakfast buffet was just a regular continental breakfast, and it cost $21 each. I will never stay here again.

This hotel was in a nice area that felt very safe. The mall is right across the street and grocery stores we're also walkable. Quick access to the freeway to drive anywhere.

There is a problem with the free breakfast thing. The purchase said it was included, but when I tried to pay for the room it was an additional $14 upcharge, per person. If you don't pay the extra then the meal is $28 for a strangely varied meal-boxed scrambled eggs, decent bacon, excellent coffee and nice waffles and pastries... Not a $28 meal, even in Minneapolis. Not sure what went wrong with the "free breakfast", I was too tired to argue about it.

Top notch stay. Super comfortable room with a terrific bed and exquisite bedding and pillows. I had the very best omelette the next morning with freshly squeezed orange juice. I’ll be back, that’s for certain!

Over priced breakfast. Worst toilet paper I have seen at a hotel in years. So thin you had use a lot.

Breakfast benefit wasn’t clear. Had to speak with front desk staff and email my hotels.com details to her on the spot to receive the buffet. The desk staffer knew exactly how to instruct me and was knowledgeable but I’m just surprised I didn’t receive the buffet tickets on arrival. Nearly missed out. The hotel is a little bit older but ideal for my work schedule and offered a pool and hot tub. I didn’t partake but I can imagine it being a favorite for families. The breakfast all you can eat buffet is good but at $23/person a bit pricey if you don’t get it with your reservation or membership.

Everything was fine, except the breakfast should be free and the shower is below weak, and the toilet paper was very below weak.

Good location close to shopping and dinning, breakfast buffet for $22 a person is the same as what you get included with many hotels.
