The hotel and our room did not smell clean. One of beds didn't have a comforter on it, just sheets. I had to ask for one. The bathroom only had 2 small bath towels in it. The beds were not made up each day. The carpet in our room was dirty. Our socks got dirty from the carpet. The outside parking area was dirty with garbage along the fence. The hot tub was out of service. There were no chairs in the pool area for sitting. The pool towels looked like face towels. The only area that seemed somewhat clean was the breakfast area.

The “fitness center” is an old treadmill and one set of dumbbells. No working hot tub. Luke warm water is as hot as the shower got. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Down side is no hot tub, been down for over a year and I noticed the first floor hallway smelt like cigarette smoke. Has a nice snack area to purchase and great breakfast options, rooms are clean and comfortable.

Staff was very friendly, accommodating, and personable and the jacuzzi suite was huge and comfortable. The hot tub at the hotel was out of service during our stay which was a bummer because we wanted to hang out in there for a bit with our friends after the event we attended.

Good location away from interstate. Relatively clean and well maintained. Hot tub was out of order, ice machine not available on each floor, front desk reception personnel was not present the majority of the stay. Beds are terribly hard but room was spacious. Breakfast was nice with multiple food options however additional food items in vending are for cash purchases only.

Hot tub not working which was one reason we booked there. Also they closed the pool at 10:00 so we did not get to use it. We were there for a dance competition which didn’t allow us to get back to the hotel until 9:45 on Friday and Saturday even though they were many people asking they would not budge. Bad enough the hot tub wasn’t working but then no pool. The front desk guy wasn’t even polite about it. Room was nice and clean but I think the mattress was old it was uncomfortable. Breakfast was good.

The rooms were updated and very clean. Loved the fresh cookies and breakfast. The staff were great! The hot tub was closed off and there aren't chairs around the pool, so we didn't use that.

Upon arrival, room had not been cleaned properly. Toilet was clogged and nobody came to fix it so we ended up getting moved to another room. Some of the room items were in disrepair and there were drain gnats. Front desk staff was helpful when they could be. Decent breakfast options, but eating area was a little messy.

Not hotel’s problem, but no cellular service in room. Wireless would only work for a few seconds then disconnect. No hot water in shower and water dripping from ceiling. Bathtub drain was filthy and rusted. Was so bad I moved to a different hotel after 1 day.

The smell is atrocious, from the lobby to the room - like there's mold growing in the carpet and everyone smokes pot. Just sickly smelling. The staff is very pleasant, though - especially Tim and the dark haired gal manning the breakfast!

Great location for me and will be staying here again next week when I come back through this way. It was a clean and spacious room. The only negative was that the shower head had a little drip drip action. I closed the bathroom door and didn't hear it after that.

I’ll list off some good qualities first. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Whenever we had an issue, they accommodated and we really appreciated that. We got the king suite with jacuzzi tub for the weekend. For the price, the (2nd) room we got was perfect! Clean, dry, slight odor, but nothing to really complain about. Totally great. Now for the bad. The first room we got (124) was horrible. You walk in and notice the dampness in the air. Like stinky, mildewy air. We, my husband and I, wondered if it may have flooded at some point? Either a former guest, or during the heavy rain. Either way, it STANK. Some of our towels were damp as if they didn’t get time to dry fully in the dryer (OR the room was just that moist??). We couldn’t walk around on the floors with bare feet.. The floor was sticky and also somewhat wet. We’d walk around with socks on and the bottoms of our socks would be slightly damp after a minute or two. We were so grossed out, we bought some Lysol and fabreeze just to tolerate it for the first night and would sprint to the bathroom/bed/couches to try not to funk up our socks. Totally unacceptable room. Idk if that’s all the bottom levels, but 124 was DEFINITELY one of the worst hotel rooms I’ve booked. It totally sucks, but if we hadn’t had room 124 to start, we would have loved the stay and planned to come back. The 2nd room was great. Lovely staff.

While checking in the staff where very friendly, the property is showing signs of wear and cleanliness is mediocre at best. The room had just ok beds and was semi-clean. Stains on some of the bedding, towels and carpet. It could be far worse, but has room for improvement.

While the rooms appear nice and clean, there was a very strong musty odor in the room. I don’t know if it’s a mold problem or just a moisture problem, but it was very strong. There was no guide for the TV, and the remote didn’t work. There were no washcloths in the bathroom, and if there had been more than one person in this room, one set of towels was not enough. The shower curtain rod appeared to be coming off the wall, and it was a curved rod that was drooping and not upright, making it impossible to keep the shower curtain closed. The beds were average comfort, but I’m not sure the sheets were clean. The check-in staff was very nice. I expected better for the price we paid for the rooms.

Got to the hotel after driving 5 hour. I stood at the counter for 5mins before someone showed up and the guy goes "DO YOU NEED SOMETHING?" ya i need to check in. 1ST room I got in the tub was extremely dirty with soap scum. 2ND room tub did not drain.

Service desk was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. Overall good experience. Hot tub is drained and closed and there could be a little more cleaning done to clear out the hallway smell but other than that, very happy with stay.

Front desk guy was super friendly, rooms were very clean and taken care of. A little bit out dated but super nice for the cost of the room. The continental breakfast was amazing! All kinds of options and everything tasted great. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The person who welcomed us to the hotel was very friendly. The cookies for the guests were a nice touch. The hotel was dated and it needed to be updated throughout. There was majaruna being smoked in the hotel and it could smelled. Breakfast option were good and food was plentiful, however, not enough seating for all the guests in a full hotel. The tables and high chairs were also not very clean. I was unable to get a receipt for my stay and no one was at the front desk. I waited for about 10 minutes but could not wait any longer. The sight advertised 2 queen beds in a room however, they were only double beds.

Hot tub not working which was one reason we booked there. Also they closed the pool at 10:00 so we did not get to use it. We were there for a dance competition which didn’t allow us to get back to the hotel until 9:45 on Friday and Saturday even though they were many people asking they would not budge. Bad enough the hot tub wasn’t working but then no pool. The front desk guy wasn’t even polite about it. Room was nice and clean but I think the mattress was old it was uncomfortable. Breakfast was good.

This was a convenient location to stay the night for our trip to valleyfair. The breakfast was pretty good. For those curious as I was, they offer waffles (strawberry or original), precooked bacon, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, potatoes and scrambled eggs. They also have easy options like toast, bagels, oatmeal packets, cereal, yogurt and a couple other small things. Juice (mango, orange, apple and I forget the last option). Our family went to take a swim and unfortunately there was a family in there who were pretty obnoxious. Kids jumping, diving and splashing even though diving was against rules. They clearly saw how annoyed I was at one of their kids splashing my 5 year old after he asked them not to multiple times. They got me as well and I wasn’t too fond of it. The adults just chatting it up without a care of what was going on. One of the dads throwing his young daughter in the pool. Wish there was a member of staff there to watch how their pools are being used or at least a camera so staff can monitor it. There was a bit of hair in the bathroom when we checked in but no big deal. The hallways had this unpleasant scent but I guess you get used to it. Same as the hotel room. But slightly different smell. Hallways smelled like cigarettes and body odor. Unsure how to describe the rooms but it wasn’t as bad. The beds and pillows were comfy. Parking was easy to get into. Staff was friendly. Oh and water pressure in shower not great.

This property is surrounded by commercial properties and not very inviting. Showed up to hotel and found 20-30 people outside smoking. Weeds we're all over and the building looked beat up.

Upon arrival, room had not been cleaned properly. Toilet was clogged and nobody came to fix it so we ended up getting moved to another room. Some of the room items were in disrepair and there were drain gnats. Front desk staff was helpful when they could be. Decent breakfast options, but eating area was a little messy.

The Room was a good size but outdated. We have dead flies in the window sills and live flies flying around. We switched rooms but had the same issue . I understand that because the windows open that flies can get in but the dead ones should have been part of the cleaning process. The staff was great and the breakfast was great. Also should have been told that the hot tub in the pool are was out of service

Front desk guy was super friendly, rooms were very clean and taken care of. A little bit out dated but super nice for the cost of the room. The continental breakfast was amazing! All kinds of options and everything tasted great. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The room smelled of old cigarettes. The TV turned off everytime we used the microwave. The lady at the counter was rude but the guy that helped us the day before was really nice. The room was clean it just smelled really bad. It is in a good location. It is in a quieter, less busy area. We stayed 3 nights and they served the same breakfast each morning. The sausage was burnt at 7am.

I had no cell phone service in the hotel. I couldn't make or receive any calls or texts. I only could make emergency calls. You could log into the hotels wifi but didn't feel comfortable with that.
