It was nice just pool was closed during our visit

Motel was full of construction workers which was fine, but you struggled to find a parking spot because of all their trucks, trailers, etc in the parking lot. Breakfast was slim but adequate. Beds were good, room was clean.

This was a 2 story with no elevator. Tried to do the on line check in with all my information and she wanted to run everything again.

The property was everything I had been hoping for: clean, quiet, nice indoor pool and hot tub, the price was very affordable. The parking lot was clean, and I felt safe both outside and inside the hotel. I was really glad I picked this place!

Rooms need to be better cleaned, mayb the pool needs clearer water its pretty cloudy

The hotel was pretty average. The room was clean but the hot tub was pretty gross. Everything else was good.

Property is better than average for it's price range. Has an indoor pool and spa. Included breakfast bar was well stocked.

I liked the lobby and the staff. But, I was very unhappy when I got to the pool and spa wasn't working. It was out order until tomorrow. But, I'm checking out tomorrow. Also, was disappointed on bathroom floor and bedroom floor they were dirty. They need to mop the floors better. No pool towels in the pool. The parking was bad...need more parking spaces! On top of it I had to get a new card when we came back from Chanhassen because it didn't work. I think it was too expensive to stay here for one night because it wasn't what I expected.

Parking was ok. No elevator so if you have lits of stuff you'll need multiple trips if you're upstairs

I would highly recommend avoiding this place if possible. If you can, sleep in your vehicle instead. I wasn’t expecting luxury, just a basic, clean room for the night. Unfortunately, the room smelled like a mix of urine, armpit, and feet. The carpet and bathroom floor were sticky, the toilet had stains both inside and on the seat, and the desk chair had pizza crust and crumbs on it. There was a thick layer of dust on all surfaces, various stains, and the bed sheets were stained and covered in hair. Absolutely disgusting!

This was a really rough stay. Let me start by saying I didn't have high expectations but I certainly don't think the room was worth what was paid. First off our room smelled like cigarettes, lampshades were stained in nicotine. There were also several cigarette burns in the blankets provided. Dead bugs on ac and in windowsill, our window had a huge crack running across the glass. The room was filthy otherwise unidentified white spill all of the bed frame a layer of dust over everything and the bathroom had hair left over from the last stay. Would not recommend I was uncomfortable and no one in my party could get a good sleep. The only nice thing I have to say is that the staff was kind.

Both rooms we had reserved had dirty floors and walls. They were not very friendly when asking for more towels. Beds were not very comfortable either. I definitely would not stay here again. The pictures make it seem nicer than it is.

We did online check-in but had to do the whole process over again. The hotel states there is a coffee maker in the room but there isn’t. The bathroom and floor could have been cleaner—hair on the floor. Everything seemed decent.

There was a guy begging for money outside in the evenings. Room was clean. Was quiet after about 1030 pm.

It was nice enough, but somewhat dated. Could hear guests in a joining rooms. More breakfast items would have been nice, like scrambled eggs. Would stay here again. Staff was very nice!

Staff was great, but the bed in our room was like a ROCK. It was awful. My expectations weren't that high for a budget hotel, but the bed was probably the worst I have ever stayed on. No matter how good the staff was it couldn't make up for the fact that my daughter and I barely slept due to the bed being so hard that it was similar to sleeping on the floor.

No elevator. Horrible bed, like a trampoline. Disrepair. No smoking facility but smelled like cigarettes and weed.

I would have given 5 star for staff until the lady at the front desk Monday morning/afternoon (7/7/2025) Calling corporate on her for sure. She was so rude. Also it was 9 AM on my check out day and the cleaning lady was knocking on my door when I had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on my door. Internet was horrible and was not able to even call down to the office since the actual phone in the room does not work. The morning people were horrible and I went to go get breakfast and there was nothing and it was before 9 am. You can only use cash for the vending machines so make sure you have 1s ATTN: Phone in the room didn’t even work. Internet sucks!! And I mean SUCKS!!!! Overall a 2 out of 10 stars. Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the late night worker was super nice and he actually tried to fix stuff but couldn’t due to the actual hotel being **********

The WIFI service was so weak. Texts weren’t going through, calls were getting dropped.

Very clean and comfortable room. Looks to be recently renovated. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Will stay again when going to a concert at Mystic Lake.

Room smelled like bleach. Front desk helper was super nice but could not divide the bill for 2 people splitting. Coffee was undrinkable. Lobby was clean and nice but rooms need updating. Super 8 just isn’t for me. If you are on a tight budget it’s ok.

My initial room was very sub par but the staff was very quick to move me to a much better condition room. Very clean, friendly staff, good central shakopee location. Definitely would stay again.

Hot tub not hot, check in very disorganized.

The room and bed were fine. Tub had a plug that worked. Breakfast was adequate. There were great towels that were very soft and absorbent. A person was not always available at the front desk and I would have liked someone to be there all the time.

They are remodeling. Mostly done and clean. Good location.

Very safe neighborhood

My stay was lovely. I needed a day of peace and quiet and that's just what I got. My hotel room was nice and clean. The lady that checked me in was very friendly as well as the rest of the staff. Great location in Shakopee and near so many things.

Quiet and easy to access the property

The hotel was nice, the room was clean but it did get loud around midnight. The area around the hotel was a bit sketchy. Overall nice place to stay.

We had a good time. Price was good. Breakfast could use more. Exhaust fan didn't work. Everyone was friendly & helpful.

Everything was great (room, staff, cleanliness, quiet) except the breakfast. Quality was not up to par with other Super 8s where I've stayed. Had a variety of bread and muffins, but by 8 am they were out of butter and jam and didn't replenish. Line was too long for the waffle machine so the only other option was Fruit Loops or Cheerios. No yogurt, no hard boiled eggs, no sausage or cooked egg options. No fruit. This was very subpar considering they posted that breakfast was included with the room.

Absolutely horrid. Pulled in and my husband asked if we had a refundable reservation. There were homeless drinking and sleeping in their cars in the parking lot. Got in and whole place smelled of smoke and chemical (and hubby indicated weed as well). Asked to see our room. Guy showed us a dark room but I had no reception on my phone to see if we could back out. Neither cell service nor Wi-Fi worked worth a darn. We Accepted the room and wish I hadn’t. Beds were iffy, carpet was dirty in and out of the room, the room stench got worse as the AC ran and I had to wipe every surface before we set things down. Tried the pool. More regret. We think they’re using straight bleach. It bleached my son’s new watch band (was green, now tan) and it caused physical pain to my youngest to both her eyes and groin area. Woke up congested from the smoke in the air all night. Breakfast was pathetic. Juice was either spoiled or watered down. Waffles, bagels, and tiny cinnamon rolls. Some sad looking fruit. I ate nothing. We checked out despite having a second night reservation. Front desk told me there was nothing she could do and I’d have to figure out my refund through Expedia. Don’t know how the reviews got this to an 8+ but avoid at all costs.

The bathrooms were clean, the bedding was okay but clearly old. The breakfast area was tiny and there wasn’t much food.
