This property was great, we felt safe, felt safe leaving my car parked there. The property was nice and clean, they also had a nice indoor heated pool that was open until 11pm. The staff were also very friendly. They also had the best free breakfast in the morning, and also put out fresh cookies at night.

Great location. Walmart close. Some rooms’ windows are facing the pool and this loud until 10pm if the pool is occupied. If you have anyone who goes to bed early stay away from those. Room are huge!!

The expedia site listed an indoor hot tub and pool. There was no hot tub and the pool was cold. Very disappointing to our kids who had eager awaited playing in the pool.

It was wonderful. Pool and workout room was in great shape and centrally located. Breakfast was amazing and night time cookies and milk was a nice surprise that my daughter didn’t let me forget. The staff was all super nice and I’d definitely stay again if in the area.

Check-in was seamless. Staff was kind. They had fresh cookies at 8 p.m. which the kids loved. The pool area is very well maintained and nice. Fitness area looked very nice right through the pool area. Rooms are clean, decent and in good repair, and the hotel is quiet. Could not be happier with the value of this stay for my family. We have Panera, Starbucks, Chik-fil-a, Texas Roadhouse, Cracker Barrel and more right around our hotel. There is a shopping center nearby with a TJmaxx and some other stores. Overall a really great stop that we will remember when we take this route for future drives. Thank you, Holiday Inn Express!

The beds were so uncomfortable and the pillows were worse. I did not sleep well. The breakfast buffet was nice, but the sausage was served cold and it gave us all a stomach ache. The whole hotel was very clean and the staff were all very nice. They even gave me a free tooth rush because I had forgotten mine at home.

overall it was excellent -- the only concern I had was the floors in the room were very dirty. When the little ones were running around barefoot in the room their feet became extremely dirty!!

We have previously stayed at this hotel without issue. It is clean. Jist dont let them put you in room 218. It's right next to the elevator so it makes noise and you hear the breakfast crowd.starting at.6am

I thought the property was very clean and appealing. Our check in clerk for our 1st night stay on May 22nd was very friendly, and helpful, however our 2nd stay on May 25th our clerk was unpleasant never said hello never smiled. She wasn't rude but she seemed very unfriendly and like she didn't want to be there. But our rooms were very clean, the breakfast was good, and the breakfast staff was very friendly as well. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

I showed for my reservation at the Hilton Inn express in cape Girardeau Mo, and was told that my reservation had been cancelled. The property said to take it up with Expedia. I contacted you but because the prompts were SO FAST, I could not keep up and my chat and phone call were cancelled. My iternary number was 72850963432875. They said that I had been refunded for this reservation, however the Holiday Inn Express blamed it on Expedia and Expedia blamed it on Holiday Inn. I have copies of my reservation and the receipt which now gives a zero balance. I just had driven 19 hours only to find out I didn’t have a reservation and they were full! Needless to say I am very angry. I was called back and told that they had had a cancellation, so we have a room thankfully. This passing the buck is completely unprofessional and I still don’t know what happened. I want to make sure I only paid for this room once and that I be compensated for the emotional stress this has caused me.

My first experience upon walking in the door was Katy - GM who definitely let it be known that she hated her job without saying "I hate my job". Critical, rude, and talking down to me is NOT a way to give me a great first impression. She barked commands at me and ridiculed me infront of other customers for not knowing my license plate. News flash - my state changed their plates and assigned it to me 3 weeks ago. I'm more than sure there were no other vehicles from my state in your Missouri parking lot. Being told I needed to walk outside in the 103° heat index was ridiculous. The room was 78° when we entered - horribly stuffy. I did not feel like I could call the front desk for anything after being treated so badly when I checked in. Breakfast was lukewarm - not up to temp. Just kind of blah...

Our stay was wonderful. The rooms are so nice. Bed was comfortable. The jaccuzi tub is excellent. The free breakfast was lovely. Even had healthy options with turkey sausage and egg white omelets. Delicious.
