Days Inn by Wyndham Osage Beach Lake of the Ozarks

The room was nice and updated, better than expected. The property itself is under repair but did not interrupt my stay. There is no elevator though.

Bed and temperature were good. The bathroom was dirty. The inside pool was cold and the surface around it was very uncomfortable to walk on.

I checked in online before arrival to save time but still had to go through the entire check-in process on arrival. I couldn't understand the person checking me in because he had very poor English skills. The room smelled very musty and there were only small towels to use. There are multiple safety hazards on the property including exposed electrical wiring in the game room where kids could be electrocuted. The property is very poorly maintained. The only good thing was the air conditioner worked well even though the thermostat said Err the entire stay. The pool rail was also broken leaving sharp metal exposed. We planned to stay 2 nights but left after 1 night because of the horrible condition of the property. I should have asked for a refund but was glad to get out of there without anyone getting hurt. It was a family getaway that included 3 rooms. We all left a day early. How dare you put my family at risk with your poor maintenance practices!

We stayed at Days Inn in Osage Beach for the Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest. I found the motel clean. Staff was accommodating when we arrived, helping us get rooms close to the other couple we came with. Our room was cleaned daily. There was a nice indoor pool and a nice outdoor pool. I was able to get coffee in the morning from downstairs. I did not try the breakfast. But overall, I was satisfied with the accommodations.

Water run off from pool looked like it could be slippery

The desk person spoke horrible English and had to go through the full check-in process even after doing it online prior to arrival. The outdoor pool railing is broken leaving sharp metal exposed. The air hockey table has a switch on the side without a cover where kids could be electrocuted. The indoor pool has a door that will lock you in because the exit sensor doesn't work unless you put your hand up to it. The room smelled musty but at least the AC worked. There were no large towels which made showering a challenge. This building is in very bad shape from lack.of maintenance. We were with a group that had 3 rooms total. We had planned to stay 2 nights but all of us decided to leave after 1 night because it was so bad.

Room was mid, not updated, but generally clean. Check-in was not great, had to argue for adjoining rooms which I had been told would be no problems earlier in the day but when we arrived were told there was none available. Until I argued and magically then there were - in the other building, at the opposite end, after we had already unloaded the car and come inside. Game room was meh - most things were broken but still generally playable, just don’t expect much. Pool is “closed for painting” indefinitely, they are unsure when it will open again. It fit the needs we had for this stay, but we wouldn’t stay here again.

Hotel staff allowed early check in. TV in my room didn’t work but was fixed by staff. Maintenance technician wasn’t available when called. Breakfast area was clean and well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool area was clean and the water was crystal clear.

We walked into the room and the smell was overwhelming. We turned on the air and fans and left for a few hours. When we came back it was no better. Spoke with the manager and he showed us other options for rooms, we switched and it was at least okay for the night. Breakfast was small but we didn’t starve. Manager was extremely patient and willing to work with us but I was not impressed with the hotel itself, not sure how it got such a good review. Lamps were dusty. Beds were comfy.

The room was disgusting. Hair was all over the beds and bloody spot on the sheets.. They offered to let us switch rooms, but we had already found a different hotel. I don’t expect much for the price, but it has to be clean.

Smelt like cat urin. Ants in the room. Faucet falling off in the tub. Poor breakfast.

Didnt clean our room. No towels. Minimal toilet paper. Stained bedding.

The rooms were disgusting!!! I had to move rooms and was shown other rooms. Just horrible. Not sure how sanitary breakfast was. Definitely would NEVER STAY there again or recommend!!!

Not cleanest. Damp musty smell in room and hallway. Need to bring in some fresh air badly. A/C condensation drains by main entrance to walk through while entering, not cool. Looks of carpet alot of it makes its way in building. Kinda gross if your barefoot in hallway, just saying

The walls were thin and noise coujd be heard from the next door rooms and the hallway. The house is my biggest complaint. The check in clerk did not tell us about breakfast. Theee weee no elevators.

The beds were very comfortable! And, once you were in the rooms, it was fairly quiet.

I tried for awhile to get it to stop before relenting to just close the door to quiet the noise. Breakfast was from 6 to 9. We went down just before 8 to find the eggs and biscuits were cold. It is definitely not a high end hotel, but it worked for one night.

Overall mediocre hotel. The hotel was RIGHT next to a busy road. You could hear traffic inside. The place felt unkept and run down. The lobby and breakfast area was tight with limited seating. The room was small with a very tight bathroom. The tub was gross and the curtain rod was falling off the wall after what appeared to be a crap repair job from it previously falling off. The hotel is split into 2 different buildings, so we had to go outside and into the other building to get to the pool. The kids enjoyed the pool and game area. It did the job, but wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

Tub still had hair in it from previous guest. Walls and floors thin, guests above me walking around before 5am, heard the guest next door coughing before 5am.

The room was in rough shape. Holes in the walls. Lights not working. Very outdated and in poor condition.

The hotel just hasn't been updated probably since the 90s, and it shows. I've never stayed in a room that was as loud - street noise was like it was in our room. Bed was terribly uncomfortable. The room was clean, which is good, but that's about it. Old, smelled funny, uncomfortable - not very good at all. Avoid this place.

The room was terrible. The bed was coming apart. You could see the box spring. The mattress was stained. The blankets had three big tears in it. The bathroom smelled like mold. You could see mold on the bottom of the door. We complained to the staff. We were constantly told we had to talk to the manager of the hotel. And continently he was not there. The staff told me to come back later at noon. When I returned he said the manager was still not there. Then he gave me a number to the supervisor. I called the number and the guy was at the hotel. But I was told no supervisor or manager was on the cite. I explained to the supervisor about my room I even showed him and to agreed that we should not have been in that room. He said he would give me a refund. He will speak with the manager and give me a call the next day. I did not receive a call. I waited about two days then can called. Again the staff stated no supervisor was at the hotel I would have to call back. Then a couple days later my sister found a number the supervisor gave us and called that number. He answered and again stated I will receive a refund but not the full amount I would receive $110 because we stayed at the hotel. I haven’t received anything. At this point want a full refund due all the hassle I had to go through. All the lies I have been told. All times I had to keep calling about the inconvenience that was caused to me. I have never experienced anything like this at a hotel. Also I complained about the food

Had to wait over 20 minutes to check in because staff didn’t know how to take cash for a room , toilet didn’t flush good and we had to take care of it ourselves they gave us a plunger because they had no one there to take care of it.

Ease of checkin, kind and courtes staff

First impressions we not good. American flag was ripped to pieces outside. When we went to check in the clerk/owner? Was very rude...tried saying we had two rooms booked. Informed him only one plus showed him the confirmed cancellation on the one room. Argued that it was not cancelled and that we would need to call Hotels.com to get it cancelled even with proof from them it was already cancelled. They he wanted to say I just did it even though it was cancelled weeks ago. Finally got him to agree on the one room and charge us for that only. Room was okay, bed was comfortable. Bathroom was old and needed a good cleaning. But it was just a place to sleep. We left for our previous engagements and when we returned that night there was no water. Called the front desk and complained- they stated it was something to due with the city not them. Asked if we would be compensated since we had no water (was not to be fixed until the next morning around 6am per them). Never were we notified of this. He argued he tried calling the room but we were not in the room at the time. Informed him I had a number on file he could have called. He talked to the owner who stated he would give us a refund if we checked out then (after midnight and we were over 4 hours from home). Told him no and requested a partial refund. Finally able to get 30% off room. Complained to Hotels.com also. Breakfast was a joke. Highly recommend do NOT stay here. we would have left if other options were available.

Great Staff

It was fine as I was just there for a night sleep and a shower. It’s an old hotel, no updates but the room was clean. Clean bathroom and linens. Upon check in, I was barely acknowledged and was just given a card with a room number written on the envelope, then pointed in the direction of my room. So again, fine for the very short time I spent at the hotel.

Days Inn was quiet, comfortable and convenient. Price was reasonable for the night and had a good selection for breakfast. Would stay there again.

Location was within walking distance of decent restaurants and easy access to the highway.

This hotel needs a serious reno. Place looks stale. Hotel's laundry machines are right off the lobby, so the first thing that greets you is a humid, stale aroma. My bathroom wasn't properly cleaned as hairs we stuck to the shower walls and wash clothes were old/stained. However, bed was comfortable and location is quiet.

The property was clean and we felt safe. The staff was very nice. Had a good breakfast. You can make your own waffles, and they are good. The only reason I gave only 4 stars was the bed was hard. I have a bad back and a firm bed makes it very difficult for me. Otherwise good stay.

Trash cans overflowing in the breakfast area all the days. Nobody to restock waffle batter or syrup even after front desk was informed things were empty.

The comforter on one bed had stains on it; otherwise the room was very clean. At the complimentary breakfast, the food was cold and not appetizing.
