This is a decent hotel. We stayed for the weekend. The location on the water is great. The amount of activities are also great, but the rooms and facilities were both outdated.

Well worth the price. Had helpful staff our swim up bartenders were excellent, our waiter was great. Breakfast buffet hit the spot after 12 hours of debauchery. Food at landshark was great definitely be back

When walking to our room you could tell the hall hadn't been swept in awhile (and I think it only got swept once in the week we were there, on Friday before everyone checked in for the weekend). If you went barefoot in the room your feet were black. The building we stayed in (Driftwood) was very outdated and only one ice machine worked (the other was always leaking on the floor). The tv only worked about half the time. The pools were nice but if you wanted pool service it was a little slow. The weekend was definitely the busiest. All of the amenities are way over priced! 1 game of bowling $12 per person, the putt putt was $10 per person but the course needs redone. The carpet was bubbled and coming up. The arcade is way over priced and if you want to just watch your kids in the indoor water park (you're not actively participating in any swimming) you have to pay to do that. We decided to rent a boat at a different marina because there was a substantial price difference. The go carts are nice for rides back up the hill from the pool/restaurants. Overall, the price you pay for what you actually get is not worth it. It was our first time at Lake of the Ozarks. We'll definitely be back but not to Margaritaville.
