This was a great location! Easy bus ride to NYC. Price was very reasonable with free parking and breakfast included. Breakfast was simple and not ideal for someone with gluten intolerance. But we managed. Beds are very comfortable. Unfortunately there was only one elevator working and it was quite busy, especially in the morning. Overall, I would return. Much more affordable than NYC.

It’s located in calm place which I liked. Compared to price amenities are very limited. They don’t have a swimming pool also and they brand it Marriott. They should seriously look to improve the facilities or decrease the charges per night.

One night stay with spouse, in room with king bed, late 40s, for Shakira concert at metlife. This place was sufficient with free parking, breakfast and wifi. Nice staff. Room was clean, sheets bathroom curtains were clean. Bathroom was all in one, not sink separate from shower/toilet and a tad small.

Elevator needs renovation, when you step in feels like it will fall off. Other than that, rooms are nice and housekeeping maintains the room very clean and they change our towels every day! Breakfast is good!

Aside from the generous and varied breakfast, cleanliness, friendliness, etc. this hotel is trucker friendly. My husband drives a tractor trailer and this is always our go to hotel when we're in New Jersey. We have family in Teaneck and visit quite often. The only negative is that there is only one washer and one dryer available for five floors worth of rooms. If there were three of each then there would be nothing at all to comment about.

The hotel was only 8 minutes away from the American Dream. It was very convenient, and the beds were comfortable. However, the hotel felt a bit dated. One elevator was broken for a day during our stay. Luckily, there were only 5 floors, so walking up wasn't a problem. The bathroom had some mold in the corners, but overall, it was decent for the price.

Not clean. I got a room that had uncleaned shower, found lots of hair in it. There was a used towel hanged on the bathroom door . The bathroom is very old . I do not recommend for people that care about clean environment.

Once i got there to check everything seemed pretty run down. Then we got to the room and we had an overwhelming smell of mold. Had to leave immediately because i had a bad reaction with my asthma. Checked out and went somewhere else. Hotel.com wouldn't let me cancel. Called the manager the next day and the employee never checked us out. She said she would start the refund process, but i never received an email. Still awaiting a refund.

Stay out of room 519. Constant mechanical noise from adjoining mechanical room and elevators. Hotel is never entirely clean and is in need of some rehab. I have stayed here many times over the years and little seems to change.

This hotel was an excellent location for our stay while seeing Beyonce at MetLife. It was less than 10 minutes to get to and from the stadium. The bed was comfortable and very clean, but there were no amenities (e.g., tissues, shower cap, lotion) in the bathroom for guest use. We were also on the first floor and it was very noisy in the morning while breakfast was being prepared and served. I would recommend asking for a room not on the first floor if you’ve been out late the night before and want to sleep in past 7am.

Easy check-in and the staff was very helpful in suggesting the best lot to park at MetLife to get back to the hotel easily. The bed was easily the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in at any hotel. Great job!

The guy in the front desk named Det was not very friendly and respectful he hardly gives his smile and acknowledges guests compared to Leandro who was very friendly and polite and accommodating. The toilet was slow flush and you need to flush twice Breakfast food was good enough wish the seating area is a little bit bigger.

Unfriendly staff.. poor customer service as no one helped me and my disabled husband in a walker to bring our 4 big luggages to our room at 1:30am when we checked in. Incredibly disgusting!

We were very please with our room here. No issues at all. They even asked if we’d like daily housekeeping (haven’t been asked that at any comparable Hilton properties we’ve stayed at for years now). My one complaint is the breakfast. This was my first time at a Fairfield so I’m not sure if this is normal breakfast fare, but I was disappointed by the breakfast. We stayed just two nights. First morning breakfast was some sort of prepackaged egg and spinach quiche thing and the second morning was a Jimmy Dean prepackaged croissant sandwich. The quiche morning also had sausage patties and the breakfast sandwich morning had scrambled eggs too. But no French toast or waffle maker or pancake machine, which one of those things is usually standard at other places I’ve stayed. Not a deal breaker but all other things being equal with other equivalent chains I’d pick another hotel for the better breakfast choices.

So close to the bus. If you are planning to use this as a "home base" to travel into NY, this is your hotel! Decent amount of amenities in the area (Walmart, lots of food options) and close to the mall! Front desk staff was super nice and helpful. Area seemed safe. Breakfast is included. Not great tasting, but lots of options.

We had a great stay! We stayed at the Fairfield for five nights and had a great time. We enjoyed the ease of breakfast provided every morning and the convenience of the bus stop right in front, so we were able to easily commute into the city. It would have been nice if there were a grocery store or more restaurants within walking distance.

Our stay was excellent! It was a quick bus ride into Manhattan, with the bus stop conveniently located in front of the hotel. The breakfast was good and had a variety of options. The room was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again.
