The hotel is going through some upgrades so there was a lot of work happening around the lobby. The gym was closed for maintenance. Our room had a leaky AC unit, a toilet issue and the dishwasher leaked. The living room floor was soaked.

Nice property in a great location close to american dream. A decent breakfast buffet. 2 bedroom 2 bath hotel room. Indoor pool. The kids loved the basketball ball court

The hotel stay was great. There was a great spread for breakfast with some options changing every day. It was a good value for money. The hotel pool was a decent size. There is a hot tub but the bubbles were not working while we were there. There is a basketball court outside. It is a busy area with lots of air traffic.

Wonderful hotel close to the mall surrounds were very quiet. Nice place to stay. Children love the pool area.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Area is quiet so would recommend planning for transportation. Malls, stores and food around. A few minutes from American Dream and Met Life stadium. Rooms were expected Marriott standard and some have pretty decent city views. Pool is regular and gym has a few weights and cardio machines. Overall a decent hotel. Onsite restaurant would be a plus if they had one

The property is very clean and well kept. The housekeeping staff is terrific as well as the breakfast staff. The front desk staff is very friendly and courteous as well. The only complaint is my room needed some updating and repairs.

We like this hotel but the room this time did not seem fully cleaned. The shower curtain was stained and dirty, there was hair all over, the knife in the drawer was dirty and the chairs were dusty.

Stayed here again after a game at MetLife Stadium. We arrived late in the evening due to attending a night game. The kitchen cabinets and the side floor near the fridge were filthy. I needed to cut the tag off of a piece of clothing. So I opened the drawer where the knives were and saw roaches. The bathroom was dirty and outdated. I notified the staff at the front desk. He said there was nothing he could do because I booked through a 3rd party. I am beyond disgusted and disappointed.

I have stayed here a few times in the past with my family and enjoyed myself. I love having a kitchenette so I can cook so we don't have to spend money on fast food daily. Unfortunately for my family and I, during this trip our neighbors across the hall decided to smoke marijuana in a smoke free hotel. Yipeeeeee. Smh. The strong scent filled the hallways and also could be smelled in my room. Needless to say as a severe asthmatic, I was not pleased. Also, they could certainly clean and dust rooms a little better. Aside from the stench of weed and my room not being thoroughly cleaned, I actually like the hotel and it's location.

Went with my 5 and 7 year old to visit American Dream mall. The hotel was clean and updated. The staff was friendly and helpful. We used the pool a lot, it was perfect for us. Lots of stores close to the hotel and the mall was only a few minutes away.

The bathroom in the room was filthy with other guests hair all over the place.

Very impressed with room. Got a 2 bedroom suite and it had kitchen , 2 BR an pullout couch. Lots of space with tv in every room. Very clean and comfortable. Pool was warm for kids. Fireplace was a nice touch.

Spacious 2 bedroom with kitchen

Was put in room 208 without being told that the elevator AND laundry room were right there ! Listened to that elevator shaft all night long for 2 nights all night long . NO SLEEP FOR 2 NIGHTS . Charged ridiculous rates for poor location. Will never stay at this location ever.

The people at the front desk were helpful. Copying was free. The hot breakfast was free and huge. The room was big and was a sweet. A very comfortable bed.

Front desk staff were very nice. I felt comfortable the moment I stepped foot inside. The suite my family had was both spacious and comforting. The room even had pots and pans if you really wanted to cook. Definitely felt like home away from home

I've stayed at dozens of Marriott properties throughout the years and this one, while acceptable, won't be on my list of properties to return to. It's greatest strength is that it's just an 8 minute drive to Medieval Times - from there things just go downhill. There were lots of little things that drove us nuts, from there only being the thinnest of blankets on the bed to the lack of a coffee machine in our suite (despite there being coffee "pads" for us to use.) The room we stayed in was fine and clean, but it also had many loud mechanical noises going on throughout the night. It was as though some sort of furnace was on the other side of a wall constantly coming on every 10 minutes or so. When we arrived (in the middle of February) the room was 75 degrees and it took a while to cool down. Also, the pool - one of the main reasons we stayed at this facility - is only open from 9:00am to 9:00pm. That means that unless you plan on hanging out in a hotel during the day, you're not going to be able to use it. And it's not like there was a life guard on duty, so I have no idea why the pool isn't left open. The heated spa next to the pool was nice, but the door to the pump room was propped open with a paint can and the noise from that room just reminded me of the noise in the bedroom. Booking another night became a nightmare in itself that I don't have the characters to write about... :(

The check in was awesome. The girl at front desk was super friendly and accommodated me two room near each other however the bathtub did not drain so I had to shower in 8 inches of my sons dirty water from his shower. The sink didn’t drain either and the temperature of the room never got up to the setting. Cold all night. The room was prob 64 and I had it set to 74 for 8 hours. It obviously is programmed to not go above a certain temperature, I only wanted it to be around 68 but turned it to 74 to see if it made any difference and nothing.

Stayed here while attending the Jets game. I was happy that I was able to check in upon arrival. Room was clean and spacious. We had the two bedroom suite and it was perfect for the 4 of us. Each room having its own bathroom was great and we enjoyed hanging out in the common area. Will def stay here again next time we stay overnight for a game there.

The staff at the front desk was rude. There was a very friendly staff person at breakfast time, but that was it. I stayed in the two bedroom suite for 5 days. I received 1 dishwasher pod. It was a struggle on the last night to try and obtain another or even dish washing soap to clean the dishes. I asked if I could just have a plastic fork and was told they only had spoons. I wanted a white blanket for the person staying on the pull out couch and was told no. The pull out couch was also the most uncomfortable thing I have ever laid on since the 90s. The room was not clean, there were frys under the sink NEXT to the trash can! The shampoo/conditioner/body wash bottles were nearly empty and some purple dye was all over one of the shower curtains. One of the showers made a god awful noise that shook the entire room. The only good thing about this hotel was that the pool was actually nice enough and at a nice temperature to swim and enjoy and that the American Dream Mall was 5min away.

The Mall was so close, a bus stop right out front as well. Dining options right near by, and the staff was great!

We stayed here 4 nights while we visited the American Dream Mall. The woman who checked us in was professional, happy, & informative. Breakfast every morning was a good assortment & was pretty good. We also had an issue where we needed to communicate with management. Jarrett was nice, professional, responsive in helping us get the situation handled. Absolutely would recommend staying here.

I recently stayed for 2 nights and the second night there was only boiling hot water. We couldn't take a shower until midnight. Its was late and it took a very long time for them to fix it. They would not accommodate me and my small children to a different room. Instead the front desk said they would compensate me in the morning when i checked out for at least one night , which they did NOT do. She also said that if i wanted to i could find a room in another hotel near by which was ridiculous because it was 11pm and i had my toddlers with me. Terrible customer service.I would never stay there again and i would advice any family to stay away from this place.

Extremely friendly staff and very accommodating.

We were seeing a show and wanted early check in to change our clothes from church and freshen up. Along with our suit cases in The Room. We were just asking For a 3:30pm check in. Ridiculous! We ended up in our Room at 8:30pm. The lady at the desk wasn’t so pleasant.

Very good hotel nearby NCY! Bus stop was just 200m away! I just love the location overall. It's quiet too. Kids friendly!

We had a great stay! Everyone was awesome and everything was clean! It gets pretty busy during breakfast so get there early!

In general, this was a nice property. The location for the American Dream Mall was excellent. The staff were great. The rooms were a little old but very clean and spacious. The breakfast was just ok. No potatoes, limited condiments and the same selection both days. If they just spent a bit more effort on breakfast it would be a great place to stay.

Fantastic breakfast, clean areas, very friendly and attentive staff. Not much walkability but very convenient to clean and timely local bus routes and great options for ordering dining - highly recommend &pizza (order from them directly as the apps will charge more)!

Stayed two nights on long weekend with kids. Decent property, clean room. No smell. Breakfast options decent. During weekdays it just ends too early at 9am. Atleast long weekend they should extend it by an hour.
