Hilton Garden Inn Syracuse

Very nice

I was extremely disappointed with this stay. I specifically selected this Hilton Garden Inn because the property advertised a pool and jacuzzi. I was in Syracuse for clinical and planned to use the jacuzzi to relax after being gone all day. I was not informed prior to my arrival that BOTH the pool and jacuzzi were unavailable. Instead, I learned this only after arriving and seeing a sign posted at the hotel. Had I been notified before my stay, I would have had the opportunity to choose another property. I also paid for breakfast, but breakfast did not begin until 7:00 AM, after I needed to leave for clinical. I explained this at check-in and asked to speak with a manager, but was told the manager had already left. Meanwhile, my aunt, who was staying down the hall, was provided two $15 restaurant vouchers due to the breakfast issue. I was initially offered nothing and did not receive comparable vouchers until the following day after addressing the issue again. I checked in Friday and checked out Sunday, so these issues affected essentially my entire stay. While my guest room was clean and the staff were generally friendly, the overall experience did not meet my expectations, especially as a Hilton Honors member. I believe guests should have been notified BEFORE arrival that major advertised amenities were unavailable. I would appreciate management contacting me regarding an appropriate resolution or service recovery for this stay.

Restaurant not open when we stayed but staff recommended places to go for dinner. Front desk kind and helpful.

We had a Great stay! I left my work device and someone from the staff called to let me know. That meant a lot. Thank You!

Nice but kids running and knocking on doors till 9:30 did not like that at all
