Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark

Most was fine with stay. Sadly in am when park opened most water parts were closed till later on making kids bored and restless.

A lot of fun for the whole family. Part of the Waterpark was close which was a bummer, but overall a fun time.

Family friendly, easy check in and out, fun little place

The ENTIRE hotel needs a BIG RENOVATION. It hasn't been touched in over 25 years since it's opened. If it has, it didn't last very long. Bathrooms are dirty and falling apart. Mattresses have HUGE depressions in them from being so old. Curtains are stained, ripped, broken and dusty. Hallway rug is ripped and stained. There is dust in the lobby from floor to ceiling. The ceiling lights haven't been clean in what looks like years. The food establishments serve barely warm food and get the orders wrong consistently. Food PRICES ARE OUTRAGIOUS! $12 FOR one regular hot dog!!! INSANE!!! Hotel staff are polite and nice. Indoor water park is a waste of your time. Not enough tunes for people on the lazy river. Floor is dirty and slimy, an athletes foot haven! The staff cannot control the unruly kids. Lifeguards act weird. They dont seem to understand basic requests or complaints. Im not saying this to be mean or not PR, but the lifeguards seem to be severely autistic. With head twitches and odd behavior. They cannot communicate to you very well and seem just completely overwhelmed. Hence the unruly kids. Certainly NOT SAFE for aquatic supervision.

The waterpark was fun for my kids. Pretty small but they still enjoyed themselves. It was very affordable but to be honest, the room was nothing to be desired. It was tired looking, dusty, the fridge was dirty and it just didn’t look like anyone had cleaned it prior to our arrival. The TV remote didn’t work properly so that was frustrating. The bathroom looked clean so that was a plus. We weren’t there for the room and I didn’t make a fuss but I would prefer to pay more for a cleaner and put together environment.
