Hampton Inn Buffalo-Williamsville

Our stay was amazing! Our room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were why we stayed and the bfast was a huge bonus. We will be returning every Thanksgiving Eve! The staff was so friendly!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. We used all the amenities including the hot tub and gym. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends!

The staff was exceptional at this hotel, especially the ladies in the breakfast room, Judy and Sherrie. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone had what they needed and made the experience wonderful due to their friendly and sweet manners. The area was very nice and the people were quite friendly everywhere we went. All amenities are only a few minute drive which was convenient. The disappointing part of the stay was the jacuzzi was broken and apparently had been for some time. Had we known this, we probably would’ve chosen a different property for the stay.

Check in was good. Building is getting pretty dated, parking isn't the best because you share the lot with a drug store and the elevators are ridiculously slow. Breakfast (included for free) was okay. Staff were all very friendly. Great location, can walk to multiple non-chain restaurants and a few stores. This is where we always stay when visiting Buffalo and we will continue to do so.

I didn’t get a minute of sleep due to kids running and screaming through the halls all night long. Someone had a birthday party so the pool and hot tub were unavailable to use. These were the kids running through the halls. The place was clean enough and the staff was friendly but the fact that this was allowed to happen all night was unacceptable.

**Hotel Review: Hampton Inn** I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn, and overall, it was a decent experience. The hotel is situated in a great location, making it convenient for nearby attractions and amenities, which was a major plus. The property itself is visually appealing from the outside, but a few interior issues caught my attention. The elevator, for instance, had a cracked floor and was notably slow, which made for an underwhelming first impression. My room was clean and comfortable, though fairly average in terms of decor and amenities. However, the bathroom did show some signs of wear — there was a crack in the bathtub, along with a bit of rust, which detracted from the otherwise neat and tidy feel. One of the highlights of the stay was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Their service was truly a redeeming quality of the hotel. In summary, while the location and service were great, a few maintenance issues like the elevator and bathroom could use attention to elevate the overall experience.

My only complaint is that the pool is much smaller than advertised, and essentially in the lobby.

We arrived on Thursday, December 22nd expecting to stay one night. Got stuck in a blizzard and we'll be here through Christmas. The staff has been amazing in spite of being stuck here themselves. They're making everyone at home and have been very nice and helpful. All the local stores are closed including groceries. The staff is leaving the kitchen space open and it's an all-you-can-eat waffle weekend, lol. Honestly, we are very lucky to be here. The pool and hot tub are very nice, and the gym is pretty large and well stocked. Not a bad hotel. I would stay here again.

My stay was 6 days, 5 nights. On day 2, I left the hotel at 2:15pm. Upon my return at 10:45pm, my bed was not made; the wastebaskets were not emptied; the dirty towels were not removed; clean towels were not provided. Everything was fine on days 3 & 4. On day 5, I again left the hotel after 2:00pm. Upon return that evening, the room again looked as I had described above. If the cleaning staff ONLY works between 10:00 and 12:00am on the floors (specifically the 4th floor), the customers ought to be told that fact at check-in time. The rooms were lovely, clean and provided with appreciated amenities: hair dryer, iron & ironing board, coffee & coffee maker. But the “maid service” or info from the front desk needs improvement.

Great place to stay just outside Buffalo. Williamsville is a very nice small historic village. Property is super clean and staff is very nice and helpful. Highly recommend.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful but upon entering my room it smelled musty and bathroom had dust on vanity drawers and tub had enamel peeling off the sides and bottom. i asked for a wakeup call at 645am and didnt get it until after 655am It is in a lovely location but i probably would not stay there again

During check in, I was originally given a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet. I walked in and the bed was unmade, garbage everywhere. My new room was “cleaned” but it was still dirty. There were loose, black hairs all over the bathroom.

I loved that it was a super clean place. It was so nice that they had coffee and tea out 24hrs. The girls at the front desk were so sweet and always greeted us.

I reserved a room for 3 nights, March 28 - 30. I had appointments on March 29 , 30 & 31. When I arrived at my at room at approximately 10:00pm, on March 29, the bed had not been made; my dirty towels were still rolled and in the shower: wastepaper baskets were not emptied; no new coffee items were available. I saw a man from the front desk and inquired. He asked if I had a dog. I answered that the dog with three kids and parents were across the hallway. The young man brought me a stack of clean towels. * The evening of the 30th, I again returned to my room: nothing cleaned. Fortunately I still had clean towels from the evening before, but I really would loved to have made myself a cup of coffee. When I left the hotel yesterday morning, I saw 3 cleaning carts in the hallway, so I thought my room would have been cleaned. I guess the hotel staff still thought I had dog. The poodle was loud, and had ruined something for somebody because one if the little children was crying like crazy. I love kids and dogs, But I like my home and places I visit to be clean. The reception desk personnel were friendly, competent and helpful. I only wish that the communication between the cleaning staff and the front desk were better. And it is true that the cleaning staff had my room number as the dog’s, but for 2 nights in a row? Even when one staff member knew what happened the 3rd night of my stay? The left hand does need to know what the right is doing.

Outstanding and clean.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is very nice, clean and looks like it was recently renovated. The only complaints I have are that the air conditioner in the room was insanely loud and there is very low water pressure in the shower.

One of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed at! Recently updated, great breakfast, clean room. Our suite was beautiful with hard floors and extremely spacious! I’ve been saying for years that hotel rooms should only have hard floors cause the carpets can get so filthy and germy, and finally we found one that does that!

Reception was fast, helpful, and fantastic. Breakfast was very nice, and the room was large, well laid-out, and clean. My only complaint - but it is a pretty big one - was the shower. Very, very low water pressure. It took a while just to get completely wet, much less to rinse out shampoo from my hair. The shower alone is going to force me to look for another hotel for my 20x per year travel to Buffalo

Fantastic girls at the check-in check-out, the AC sounded like a freight train butvthe family were to tired to bother. Just know this if you have problems with noise at night. Room was pretty warn, but bed were good and clean. Good with games on the TV, kuds loved it!

The suite was spacious, clean, and excellent to stay with my family.

I was very impressed with the young man at the front desk, he was very nice and professional, very welcoming. My check-in experience was smooth. The room was nice, very clean, well laid out, and the chair was great size, the room was quite comfortable. My decrease in stars was b/c my bed was quite cold. I had to get up at 1am to turn the rooms heat up to accomodate such a thin blanket. it was not a warm blanket by any means, which in buffalo, NY in february is actually very important. so this was pretty frustrating that there was no additional blanket option. and no i wasn’t going to call the front desk at 1am for another one. I did not have the breakfast. The shower was clean and had ample body wash, shampoo and conditioner, all were nice.

The hydraulic elevators on the second floor are very loud at all hours during the night.

I enjoyed my stay here - the property was clean, and the staff were friendly. However, a few interactions stood out as less professional. One staff member frequently expressed frustration during our exchanges, and another appeared visibly irritated with someone in my party during breakfast. While I understand that everyone can have an off day, I believe additional training on professionalism and customer service would be beneficial - particularly around maintaining appropriate conversations and demeanor when interacting with guests. Overall, I appreciated the hospitality and hope this feedback helps enhance future guest experiences.

I really cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Starting at check in, we were greeted by Alex and he was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. During breakfast we sat in the breakfast/lobby and was always told when they were about to close so we could get another

Staff was super welcoming, accommodating and always greeted me and my friends with warm smiles! They engaged with us every time we saw staff members and made us feel welcome! When I come back to Buffalo I will defiantly come back here!

Staff was very rude

My overall stay was amazing. Great clean rooms nice pool all the staff except one made it pleasurable. Upon check in. I think her name is Andrea short heavy set woman with brown hair was extremely rude. From the moment i walked in she had a poor attitude and just made my experience bad. I only stay at the hiltons but unfortunately because of her i would never stay at this one again!!!! Hopefully they will terminate her because she gives the place a bad image. Forwarding my complaints to other staff they informed me other people made similar complaints.

On check in day, Joseph was very patient, kind & friendly to check to see if my reserved room was available. My room wasn't but he offered to hold my luggage in office until the room was ready; while I ran a few errands.

The entire staff at this hotel were terrific.

We stayed here for two nights. In town for a Bills game. Great location. Easy Uber to game. Location of hotel is great. Right on Main Street. Easy walk for coffee, food, drinks, shopping. Will stay here again next year.

We love the location with all of the pubs, breweries, and restaurants in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable and clean.

Music on Main Street Thursday nights. A lot of walkable Restaurants and Bars if you don’t want to drive.

As an expat, Buffalo native, I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel in nearby Williamsville on my visit home for the holidays. The hotel is centrally located in the cozy village, which touts itself appropriately as being "walkable." As someone who enjoys a daily stroll through the hood, this place was perfectly situated for a stroll through town; close to a handful of shops, bars, and restaurants. This is my new go-to hotel when I find myself in need of a place close to Buffalo.

Large comfortable rooms with modern fixtures. Easy access from the thruway. Many dining and shopping options outside this facility including one of the best bakeries--DiCamillos. Typical breakfast fare that works particularly well for families. Coffee and tea available all day which is really great.

The location was really great but a bit pricey. Breakfast was ok.

The first night we stayed in a king room with kitchenette and sofa bed. This did not fit our needs so then we moved to a regular double queen room for the remaining two nights of the stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find almost the same amenities in the smaller room, plus the second real bed. They had microwave, mini fridge, and tub shower as opposed to stall shower. The pool is awesome. Breakfast was a treat! I expected just cereal and bagels, but they had a waffle iron and a rotation of hot treats like scrambled eggs, French toast sticks, pre made omelets, bacon or sausage, i can’t remember all the options over the three days. Walking distance to Glen falls which was super family friendly. We didn’t use a stroller, but it’s a nice short walk and the falls are close to the entrance. The little downtown area is very cute and quaint, but much of it was closed by Sunday at 5. We went to dinner at steelbound several blocks away and the food was good.

I usually have a good stay at Hampton Inn and this location was no exception! Upon arrival I found the lobby very welcoming and the agent behind the desk was helpful and courteous. The room and bathroom was clean. I appreciated the magnetic handheld showerhead. The indoor pool and hot tub was awesome! And the complimentary breakfast and the staff in charge were both excellent! I would definitely reccomend and stay at this location again in the future.

I liked everything except that on weekends they do not start serving breakfast until 7am rather than 6am. So we did not get to have breakfast as we had to leave by 7am. I have never had a place I have stayed make the weekend later usually it is just extended. Other than that all was well.

Everything was great and clean. Free breakfast was delicious. The only thing we didn’t like was that there was no creamer available at the free coffee bar except for sweetened coffee mate.2 of their employees Hannibal and Judy went out of their way to find us some. Every employee we spoke to said it was a major complaint from guests. Hoping this gets rectified before our next stay.

Great experience, There is room for improvement with the breakfast options. Very carb heavy with minimal meat and fresh fruit options.

Great experience, lovely room, breakfast buffet not as great as other Hampton inns we have visited but nice. Great shower , loved that it was walk in and not a tub!!! Will definitely return!
