Staff was great, room was clean, atmosphere was fabulous. Disappointed the ad shows a bar, but it wasn’t open.

Yes the airport shuttle was easy to find and the driver was amazing

For the price to was *fine*. But the key entry outside the building was completely smashed to bits. Stains everywhere (except bed linens). Hallway rug was curled up through most of the hallway creating a tripping hazard. The first front desk employee was very rude when we told her a gentleman tripped outside and might need assistance. Proceeded to walk away and didn’t bother to tell the 2 other staff members if they could check us in. Finally another woman greeted and asked if we were helped and she was lovely. Very sweet, professional and quick. Room was subpar with a sketchy window. However the beds were clean and quite comfortable. Bathroom and vanity areas were clean and appeared to be stocked. Carpet had a ton of gross stains throughout the room.

Airport shuttle was amazing and the driver was great. Highly recommend

THIS IS THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED TO READ HERE: I Stayed here for the Bills vs. Patriots SNF game on 10/5. When we checked in the room we were assigned was absolutely disgusting, with an inside out fitted sheet, filthy chairs/carpet, broken door lock, and the AC unit blew hot air. So we were assigned a new room across the hall, which also came equipped with a broken door lock, no lightbulbs in the lamps, and a filthy bathroom. So we left and headed into Buffalo the night before the game. We came back later on, parked, and went to bed. Then on Sunday morning we woke up and headed out for the game around 10:30am. To find my Silverado was ROBBED AND PUT ON BLOCKS IN THE PARKING LOT. All 4 TIRED AND RIMS, so after a call to 911, we spoke with hotel staff who advised us that even though they have cameras on property, conveniently none were able to see either the crime happening, or the vehicle leaving. ZERO SECURITY, anyone can walk in and out of the hotel because the card scanner is smashed off the bracket. Raveen the hotels manager offered ZERO remorse, and instead said he can offer 15% off my stay for light bulbs. You read that right. A burglarized and damaged truck, a call to 911, a police investigation, and instead of a general courtesy for a nightmare stay, still charge us $138 a night for 2 nights. SAFETY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN SAVING MONEY. STAY SO FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. BILLS MAFIA KEEP SCROLLING. FAMILIES KEEP SCROLLING.

Lady at checkout was lovely The rooms were spacious and clean The only negative, the side entrance was keyless entry. It’s nice not having to put your key in to enter especially if you’re carrying a lot but for a security reason I think it should be fixed. It looks like it’s been out of commission for some time

If you can get past the incredibly tacky decor, the poor internet, disappointing sauna and lack of bar or restaurant, the rooms are quite spacious and comfortable and the price is very reasonable.

An easy five minute drive to the airport, but no Airport noise. Everyone was very nice, I enjoyed the stay. But there’s no restaurant or pool. The decor is so Salvatore. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

The hotel is average, a little overpriced, but the hotel’s interior design is cute/unique looking. The room was spacious and loved the blackout blinds. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable, but it did move easily when someone shifted in the bed. Although noted online, the Remington Lounge was not open both evenings (Fri & Sat), which was disappointing.

The hotel carpet was filthy! You sunk in the middle of the mattress and the sheet was wrinkled and sliding off the mattress. The hotel needs a lot of TLC!

Room was very clean! Staff were very nice and when needing towels, etc. they were quick to respond.

The only redeeming thing about this hotel was the very friendly front desk staff. This hotel should be REMOVED from the Hotels.com website altogether. If it is not removed, Hotels.com should REVISE its 7.8 "Good" rating as there is no reasonable basis for giving this rating, if you read the reviews people are leaving. I made the mistake of NOT reading the reviews and relying solely on the 7.8 Good Hotels.com rating. Our room had both pink and black mold on the walls and surrounding the jacuzzi/hot tub. There were stains on the carpet, broken furniture and outlets that did not have covers, creating a fire hazard. We arrived at 9 pm- no food options, bar was closed, if it ever is open at all. The air in the room was pungent and stale. There were dental floss items on the floor left by a prior guest as seen in my photos so the rooms were not cleaned. This the most awful, disgusting hotel room I have ever stayed in. It should be shut down by the city/county/state health department as it is not sanitary as the air quality, mold and uncleanliness are health hazards. Stay away. Even though I don't live in New York, I will gladly join efforts to get this place condemned and shut down. If we had arrived earlier in the day, we would have gone to another hotel, but we arrived very late in the evening and had an early flight out of Buffalo/Niagara Int'l airport.

Rooms are dated and not the cleanest.

The bedrooms were unmade. The TVs didn’t work. I had to be switched from one room to another room. The second room bedroom were unmade laying on filthy covers. They properly did not clean the room step down from a VIP room to a dirtier bedroom was not satisfied had to leave the hotel find another hotel Not pleased at all.

My room was clean. However, looks like the hotel originally was very nice. Now rather worn out. Especially, the corridors/hallways. If they were cleaned and vacuumed ONCE A MONTH they would not be so FILTHY. Stains, dust, trash. I found a PILL on the but did not dare to touch it.

Needs a good cleaning and paint. Also carpets need to be stretched, they are a tripping hazard. Never cleaned or resupplied coffee during stay. So no fresh towels or wash clothes. They do not supply shampoo or soap for showering like most places. Smelled like weed so bad it was making me sick, i had to try and place towels around the door and push chairs against it to try and cover the visible gaps the smell was coming in.

The hotel is good but needs some improvements.The staff was nice and very helpful.The room was clean.We had horrible TV reception but our bed was comfortable.The sink was a little slow for the water to go down.Over all a nice stay.

Can’t complain too much other then the bed and fixtures (dressers night stands and mattress) are in need of replacement. The mattress was horrible as we both kept sinking to the middle and at one point our feet were higher then our heads as the mattress was so beat up and offered no support.

My stay was nice, but noisy. The jacuzzi in the room above me was filled twice and very noisy. The tv would not change stations. And the heater was missing a vent cover. The bed was squeaky.

Clean Room but the bed wasn’t that comfortable

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were exceptionally clean. the problem was there was no Wi-Fi in my room. I know it's because I had Wi-Fi everywhere else. During my stay. Breakfast was coffee and some pastries any thing else you had to buy. 3 star's.

The bed was terrible - lumpy mattress - linens were thin - toilet seat was loose - toilet made a high-pitched noise when flushed. They did provide a shower chair for us. The room was scantily furnished with only 2 very old chairs.

I thought that the decor was unique and the staff were very accommodating. The property is located at a location were you will need to either have a vehicle or Uber to get around. The only two downsides I had were the free wifi did not work and that there is complentary breakfast, not even muffins or donuts.

Very disappointed in our stay. We stayed there years ago and it was a great experience. This time not at all. First, our room smelled badly of sewage. So bad, we had to keep the bathroom door closed 100% of the time. And it was STILL awful. Second, our room backed out to a pretty courtyard. The first night we were there several children under 10 years old were running around the court, loudly playing, until after 2:00 am. The second night there were about 10 people in the same courtyard, playing music and having a party. At 11:00 I called to the front desk to ask that The party be moved somewhere else as we were trying to sleep, having gotten very little sleep the night before. The girl advised me in a very nasty and rude voice “I will NOT do anything. They are paying customers just like you!” I will not be staying at your hotel ever again. The ladies at the reception desk when I checked in and checked out were amazing

Staff were super friendly and nice! We had one issue with our room and the owner and staff got it taken care of immediately! Everything in the room was spotless and clean!

Hotel shuttle from airport was very slow in arriving. Service from Front Desk was very poor. Television was not functioning in the room upon arrival the first evening and staff was unavailable to correct the situation until the following day. Scheduled return shuttle to airport for 5:30am but was informed by the driver that it was not on her schedule. Requested wake up call for 5am that was never received; good thing I set my phone alarm or would have missed my flight.

Great staff above and beyond

We were at Garden Place only for one night, only because we wanted to be close to the airport as we were flying out at 6AM. Could tell that the external condition of the building is very old and outdated, but it was extremely clean which was the most important thing to me. The way the lobby is decorated is just absolutely breathtaking which is why I chose to stay here to begin with. The service was phenomenal. The front desk staff was super nice and helpful. The shuttle driver was also very friendly and got us to the airport ahead of schedule. There is room service in the evening that is available but chose not to use it. My only complaints were that one of the lamps on the side of the bed didn't work, and also we had a jacuzzi room, and one of the faucets was leaking and I had to wipe it up because I didn't want the water soaking into the carpet. Otherwise, our stay here was great and would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the staff of Garden Place for having us!

Staff was very helpful. Kim and Kevin were stellar putting breakfast together at the cafe and a special shoutout to Kim for covering a couple of tour buses by herself and simultaneously on a Sunday morning. We had a loud neighbor early Saturday morning. Regrettably, this was 100% attributable to international guests with a lack of respect for others. Hotel staff responded upon request (twice) which I know isn't easy, but eventually the offending party quieted down. Appreciated them getting involved to restore order. Shuttle to airport was easy and responsive even with a late pickup and early drop off. Good price, comfortable room, decent mattress, good water temp and pressure. Could use to stretch the hallway carpet as it presents tripping hazards. Overall, good, not great, but worth the price, convenient and a solid staff.

Love the location. Anchor Bar is around the corner. Great restaurants and stores nearby as well as the airport. The hotel is beautiful. Friendly staff. One guy really went above and beyond with me and my family. He even drove us to the airport when he was short-staffed. I want to stay here again when I return.

Rude night desk person threatening yelling combative. Had 2 occurrences with her. One time a tv was on in an empty room Next to us all day and at 10:30 asked for it to be handled. Was told by one person it would an hour later nothing done new person at front desk. She took her time and it was after 1 am Tv remote not working finally switched to another tv. Only 2 towels in room Meanwhile 3 people staying in the room On 2d day we were out from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm No one had cleaned the room yet even though requested it. We came back at 1:30 to change for my stepsons wake. Left at 2:30. Came back to room at 9:30 pm wasn’t cleaned. They cleaned in Friday didn’t replace body wash No parking at all in lot when returned at midnight on Friday and same rude combative person told me Not my problem she did t care Have enough spots for each room. There is no restaurant etc at hotel so. It like people were coming to use it Dirty carpets crumbs in stairs for 3 days. Bartender was only person who k ee her job was friendly and courteous. I got zero benefits from this hotel. It should be closed and I should receive a refund for my stay

Front desk staff were entirely unprofessional: cursing and bad mouthing a former employee and barely acknowledging guests.

Terrible mattress, television did not work ,no breakfast as in the past -coffee etc. No response from staff to address the television despite calling twice and they agreed to address - no show three nights in a dirty room . Will not return to this hotel .

Not far from highway. Parking is good. Room was good.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. We enjoyed ourselves. We were only there for four days, but it was. We like where it was situated. It was close to shopping close to the airport and Niagara Falls, which we really enjoyed. We would recommend it to everyone and anyone.

Not many options in walkinh distance. Cloae to the airport which is convenient.

Staff was super friendly, hotel was very nice. room was big and amenities are were spot on. location between Buffalo and Niagara make it a great place if you trip includes both places. There were a lot of restaurants around the hotel, including a few that were walkable. I would stay here again for sure.

Conveniently located,

Big old hotel near the airport. Big ornate lobby and entry area, but dated. Lobby staff friendly and helpful on check-in and check-out. Lobby is nice and big, coffee and water available. Grand entry mezzanine is ornate and dated, carpet is plush and wrinkled, as is carpet in hallways. But room was updated with LVP flooring, HUGE room, king bed, three chairs, desk. Bathroom had big walk in shower but lacked shelf to hold soap and shampoo, but did have modern mixing valve for temp control. Room is partially updated, partially old furniture, eclectic. Internet was fast, AC was quiet. Keurig in room, with mini frig. Microwave available on first floor. I'd stay there again, price is reasonable compared to other hotels in the area that also aren't completely updated either but cost more.

Needed a safe hotel with free shuttle for airport. Bed was comfy. Staff nice. Room showed its age. Stains, rips spots outdated decor etc.

Interesting decor! We were going to a concert in Darien Lake so the location was good.

We were disappointed with the lack of amenities and the absence of food service or a lounge, as they had in the past. We have been coming to this hotel for many years and were very disappointed. Not sure if we will be back again.

The establishment was beautiful, clean and friendly staff. But regarding advertising a Restaurants, Bars, Lounge & Dining options was false. I was anticipating enjoying a steak dinner with a cocktail and relaxing for the evening. Instead found room service offered for a few hours with limited selections and would be delivered from the hotel next door. No vending machines. And gift shop.....I have more items in my pantry. The shower stall had no grab bar(s) and no soap/shampoo dish. The shower floor was slippery. If I am every in the area again I will not stay at the Garden Place Hotel. M. IRENE BOYLES

Very unique property. The courtyard was beautiful. When we checked in the only available room was a handicap room and that was just fine with us. Very spacious bathroom. I was a little disappointed the property did not have a restaurant on site ( its at another location) but other than that, I would definitely stay here again.

My visit overall was good expect for buying the breakfast. On our first morning 8/19 we brought breakfast and my sister was given a sandwich with moldy eggs. The man offered to give her another sandwich at no cost, but we declined. That cause us to buy food outside for the rest of our stay. But everything else was great.

our problem is we stayed at this property a few years ago and it was fabulous. Now it looks tired. It needs maintenance. None of the water features were working. The courtyard has been stripped down. The absence of the free breakfast was disappointing and the food that we paid for was subpar best.
