This facility was undergoing a complete renovation, pool was closed, breakfast area was broken up into two areas. They did the best they could do under the circumstances but I likely would have stayed someplace else if I had known they were doing a renovation!

Convenient location across from airport however the hotel no longer offers a shuttle service to/from airport. It’s not as easy a walk as the front desk implied and you certainly wouldn’t want to walk it at 5am. The “taxi service” they recommended at the front desk appeared to be a one-person service who was rude when I inquired about an early morning ride.

The hotel itself is nice but there is no shuttle from the airport and if you need to reach the hotel prior to your arrival expect to call multiple times and no one answers the phone.

This property is heavily under construction. I had no idea I was walking into a full construction site when I booked my room. I couldn’t believe they still are charging people full price. If I had known, I wouldn’t have booked there. Last year I stayed there and it was so lovely and this year it was an expensive mess. The breakfast was served in a temporary dark room shoved to the side with construction dust in the air so I skipped it. The AC was pretty much ineffective and my throat was irritated by all the dust. I’m frustrated I wasn’t warned beforehand and I was still charged full price.

This property is old and needs updates. Room was not vacuumed, dirty fridge with half empty beverage cups and straws in it. Front desk was polite and seemed fine BUT as a woman traveling alone, felt very uncomfortable with one random man sitting in lobby by front desk at 12:45am, also another man sitting outside the front door. I decided not to stay the night and left.

Pool was to be up and running before our stay ! We showed up 2 weeks after the time it was to be re opened to be told it’s still closed! Checked into our room to find someone’s underwear in our window ledge…. Ugh was put into a new room thankfully much cleaner.

Hotel is very dated and extremely dirty. Even the windows haven’t been cleaned in ages. Carpets haven’t been vacuumed in I’m Not sure how long. Looks like they have started to renovate but the hotel needs a major cleaning before they do anything. We thought about switching hotels but more a a pain since we are only here for one night and leaving early. Staff was great checking in. Area is a bit sketchy and weird.

The toilet and shower were dirty but the rest of the room was modern and clean. No one was at the front desk when I checked out. The lock on my door was in poor condition—it broke so I could not get into the room one night and it took a long time to fix while I waited in the hallway. The staff in the breakfast area worked hard and did a good job.

The AC makes unbearable noise and is not for sleeping you can't even listen to the TV. To make it worse no help from the front desk staff. They said they knew the problem and all the rooms had the same issue and also said that it was a management issue. Had a bad experience and will never come or recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel was horrible and horrible service. They did not have clean rooms at check in. They swiped our card for incidentals but never assigned us a room. When we wnet back afyer our concert they had overbooked and had no room for us. We had to drive home 3 hours after a lo g day.

Ariel front desk attendant was fabulous. She helped every aspect of our stay. Sam the shuttle driver, went out of his way to help us out of town folks enjoy our stay. Paul, another shuttle driver also chipped in to do room service. Anna was great for breakfast! It was a total team effort! Let’s go Buffalo!!

The breakfast was awesome! Every staff member I met was very friendly, talkative, and kind. I had an issue with my key card not working but they resolved it quickly. Room and service was clean and comfortable. The airport/hotel shuttle was a huge plus!

The room was nice, but the check in was slow and, as we found out at midnight when someone knocked repeatedly on our door because the room had also been assigned to him, seriously screwed up. The night front desk employee then came to our room twice (at 1a and about 1:45a), pounded hard on our door, said we were not in the system and, clearly thinking we were interlopers, demanded to be let in. We thought we had worked it out with her that we had indeed checked in and paid for the room, but later in the morning (8ish), another employee actually came into the room just as my husband was getting out of the tub. Clearly there are problems with the check in process or software. Also, while the employees were nice enough and apologetic, they need training in how to handle this sort of situation (they could have called us on the room phone). The manager has said he will provide additional training, and he is waiving our room charges. All in all, though, it was a stressful night for us.

We selected this hotel because of the shuttle. We planned 4 trips because we booked this place at the beginning and end of our trip because it was close to the airport and there was a shuttle. We were able to use the shuttle 2 of the 4 planned trips. I let the place know that we were arriving at Buffalo late; when I called, they said no problem. We arrived about 15 minutes later than expected; I called and was told that the shuttle stopped about 10 minutes ago. The guy said he'd try to find the driver because we could tip him the amount that we'd pay an Uber. Fair enough. When I called to check on it, the same guy said I'd have to find my own way. Glad I checked back. The trip on the second stay was at 15:00 which I assumed was a normal time. We were told that there was not going to be a shuttle until 17:00. We had to get a taxi. The shuttle was only used for 50% of our needed transportation. The rooms are a bit dated. The friendliness of the desk workers is hit and miss. Some were great but others... The lady in the dining room was extra friendly and cheerful.

We stayed for 5 nights. The room and hotel were clean and the staff was really friendly. Check in was easy and they were quick to bring things I asked for. The breakfast had healthy items and they restocked quickly. The lady that worked the breakfast- I think her name was Annie was so friendly and a very hard worker. We will stay here again.

We arrived late night and waited 40mins trying to check in before asking agency we booked through to change to a different hotel. This process took over 1.5hrs going until 130am and we had young children who just wanted to go to sleep. The man was not able to unlock his computer to allow for us to check in.

Holiday Inn Express was quiet, comfortable beds, excellent shower and replenished breakfast items. It has a good location with easy access to both the airport and to shopping malls/tourist attractions. The hotel would benefit from additional shelving and hooks for added storage opportunities. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at this hotel.

We had a good stay at the Holiday Inn Express. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast has some variety. The staff in the breakfast area must be commended for their kindness and helpfulness to all the guests. They made sure to help the guests in so many ways in order for guests to enjoy their breakfast. It is a short distance from the Walden Galleria, which is convenient for shopping and other restaurants. There are other hotels in the immediate area so that is what surrounds this hotel. It is very close to the airport .

An older hotel with good upkeep. Upgraded to a jacuzzi in the bath, so happier than expected in a 95 degree summer day. Very easy check in. No restaurant here but a great one very close by.

Power outage. Had to walk stairs to get luggage out. Should receive a discount. Breakfast staff arguing. Everyone can hear and even some swearing was heard. Lady was angry with man. No cheese omelettes. Man told me to go to lady in staff room. She did not like it. Got mad at him. Apparently man said when he does the food the food does not run out.

The breakfast was delicious especially the warm cinnamon rolls. Coffee was good too. The only issue was a slow running drain in the shower. Beds were comfy. Room was clean and fresh smelling.

The breakfast staff was rude (yelling at us) and the food was gross. They didn’t clean the tables, there was no food and the toasters were broken. Never staying at a holiday express again.
