I would give this a 5 star hotel, however, there was a winter storm that night, our room was cold even with temperature on highest setting. Also, woke up to snow all over the floor from where it came in through heating element. The pool was nice, kids loved it, however for me, not so much. Between over doing it on the chemicals, and the overkill of of laundry chemicals for the the linens and beddings, my body had a reaction to the chemicals. My whole body is covered in a hot, red, and itchy rash. If I could upload pictures of it I would. Other than those issues, the night staff was amazing. The morning staff not so much. They acted like it was nothing for the issues at hand.

Breakfast buffet was excellent!! The lady was super friendly too. We were sad we couldnt use the pool, we would have booked elsewhere if we'd known. And the lady at front desk didn't really care, no discounts for the inconvenience neither.

There was a washcloth on the shower curtain from the previous guest. but it was good little place, the restaurant next door was great. The breakfast was very nice at the hotel. The ladies who work there was absolutely wonderful they couldn't be anymore friendlier, Just GREAT! The pool was a little cool....

The hotel room that I had was just gross. The bathroom door hasn’t been wiped in quite some time due to the obvious amount of dirt and build up. The paint has been chipping and there was some sort of substance dried on the door jam. In the hallway where you walk in there was a shelf that has been removed, some of the debris remained on the floor and the wallpaper was torn and unfinished. where the wallpaper met the ceiling it was crumbly and looked like it had gotten wet. Overall, the cleanliness of this hotel was one of the worst I’ve seen.

The woman at the front desk was outstanding. The furniture in the room is showing wear and wasn't clean, but the bed was really comfy. We appreciate the low ($25) pet fee. The carpets and common areas need a deep cleaning and then I could have rated higher.

The young woman at the check-in desk was absolutely phenomenal. Friendly, attentive & helpful, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The hot breakfast was very substantial in choices and not too bad tasting. In today's world of shrinkinflation, the breakfast was almost as good as it might have been anywhere else three or four years ago. The only complaint I had had to do with the paper thin walls. By all means make every effort possible to get a room where your neighbor's TV set is not adjacent to your bedroom wall.

This was a 2 night stay while seeing family in the area. The little refridgerator makes a high wine noise. It may be off balance? Needs to be looked into, can be annoying while trying to sleep. Great breakfast layout, thanks for that variety.

Room was clean and the staff incredibly nice. Amenities were just right - we weren't in need of anything. The only complaint would be the mattress - not a very comfortable sleep. My husband was ok, but I ended up trying to sleep in the chair. Normally that would yield a pretty low score, but everything else was top notch so i can still give 4 starts.

The entire staff was always very welcoming. The hotel underwent a renovation a year before and it looked great. The room was spacious,clean and the beds were very comfortable. The morning breakfast buffet area was spotless and was staffed by several people. The buffet offered a wide selection of food. It was wonderful to eat there. And don’t forget to go to Dietsch’s Ice Cream and Candy, for the best treats anywhere!

Our daughter who attends the local university fell and sprained both of her ankles. Long story short we had to travel from Michigan to tend to her and she wont be going tmback to her 3rd dloor dorm. The staff here gave us a handicap suite on the first floor. It was so appreciated. They were amazing in handling our unique situation.

It wasn’t the greatest sadly. We booked four different rooms for my daughter 7th birthday and it wasn’t the greatest the night shift younger girl with short black hair was very disrespectful. Very rude . And just the way she came at our kids was not okay . Don’t ever come to my kid acting like your there mom . Telling them they need to be in bed etc not okay . Your ruined a little girls birthday by your rudeness . I wasted so much time and money into that hotel for your worker to be rude etc .

This was the friendliest staff I have experienced at any visit. The check in process was fast and easy and the employee was very nice. I was welcomed to have a cookie from the check in desk. At breakfast the next morning, there was a lady who went around and asked everyone how they were and if they needed anything else. She was outstanding! As soon as a guest(s) left a table, someone was wiping it off and getting ready for the next guest.

The staff are great and friendly. Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast but the staff did small things to make it a nice experience (see how you are doing, jams/jellies at tables, butter warmer, etc) If it weren’t for the walls being extremely thin/no insulation to the point I could hear everything in the room next to me as if they were in my room (mom yelling at her kid to get ready for school, dogs barking non stop, TV, etc) I would have rated this better

Great room, comfortable, clean. The young lady who checked us in Tuesday evening (who used to go to Marietta College) was prompt and very friendly! The lady in the breakfast room (I think her name was Amy) was extremely welcoming/friendly and attentive. She cleaned our table and offered to get us something else. The staff just felt like family! 🙂

We've stayed here a few times and its always been a good experience. We especially like the breakfasts. In fact, this last time my husband was looking forward to the breakfasts and the breakfast cook called off. He was disappointed, but then the manager jumped in and and took care of it himself and did well to rectify the situation. We'll definitely stay here again if we need to spend a night in Findlay.
