Quality Inn Findlay

The area around the motel was nice and the workers were friendly, but the facilities were not as pictured, the pool was not open, and our bathroom was in need of some repairs.

Clean, comfy room. Desk staff super friendly. Quick check in. Loved the pond to walk my dog around.

This facility had a lot of options for parking, a grill which was bustling and lively, friendly staff, and the room was clean! This was in a walking distance from eateries and across the street from a WalMart. The coffee machine was missing a piece so I could not use it, and the neighbor I shared a door with must have smoked a lot because after the first day it smelled like smoke somewhat but not terrible. Overall great experience!

We felt safe and secure. Good parking spots and very comfortable room.

Pool was closed, which sadly was the reason we booked the stay. Staff was polite in helping move to a nonsmoking room and helpful with accommodations.

Check in was efficient, clerk was very friendly. We chose this hotel as it accepts pets, for a fee of $15 USD. Room was clean and comfortable. The ceiling air vents could use a cleaning. However it did not impact our overall stay. Close to the highway, you could hear the traffic at about 6am, however, we were only staying one night and getting back on the road. Earplugs would help. Well situated, lots of restaurants close by and the hotel also provided a list of restaurants. All in all, value for your money. Breakfast options were good. Tim Hortons is nearby.

Check in was fine, very friendly. Room was the smallest hotel room I have ever been in, it was old and tired. Front desk did say they were doing reno's soon, needs it. Large deisel truck started at 5am right outside my door at 5am, ran for half an hour, couldn't fall back to sleep. I do like where you park outside your front door because I travel with a dog. Wouldn't stay again till reno's are done.

Pool no longer operational and half the room are actually smoking rooms.

The Quality Inn in Findlay is a big two-story hotel very close to I-75. We had a very comfortable room with a number of amenities such as a fridge, microwave and coffee maker plus this hotel has a nice hot buffet breakfast. There are several restaurants in the area and you are only 20 minutes from major shopping stores that included a Meijers, Home Depot, Kohl's, Dollar Tree, etc. The staff is super friendly. The only drawback when we were there was no hot water. The tank was on the blink for the hotel and would not be repaired until the following day when we were no longer there. However, that was a maintenance situation which hopefully would not re-occur. The parking lot seemed to be completely covered by several security cameras. We would definitely go back to this hotel.

Lots of convenient shops and restaurants around the hotel. Driving right up to the door was really convenient too. A few cobwebs in the corners of the room though.

The rooms were dirty borderline disgusting. I didn’t feel safe traveling with my child.

The pictures online are very misleading. Room was gross. Black mold in the shower, drain was clogged and had gunk in it. There were people shouting and screaming. The lady at the front desk looked and acted like she was high on something. We ended up not even staying and left. $80 bucks for the room, I wasn’t expecting high end, but it still shouldn’t have been sketchy to stay in.

The bathroom was nasty. Hair in the corner of the tub, and just dirty. We wouldn't even use the shower. The beds were fine. The remote for tv didn't work. Would be fine if they kept their rooms clean.

I got in the room and sat on the bed and a dirty rusty price of metal i didn't see cut my leg. There were 2 of us and we forgot our shampoo. But they would only give us 1 little sample bottle. Dead bed bug on wall. Roaches in bathroom

Bathroom had mold and was not very clean.

I was in room 304 about an hour in i found a bed bug crawling on the bed i put tape on it and took it to the front office. The guy was very apologetic very understanding. I didnt ask for a refund altho i thought it would of been offered i was givin another room but i was uneasy and ended up sleeping in my truck

Room was not real clean. Bathroom floor was very dirty and smelled like urine. I washed it myself with their wash cloth and then threw it away. All complimentary toiletries were open and cup wrappers had holes in them and were unsealed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else and was very disappointed. When I expressed my concerns at front desk, he said “Okay, I’ll let housekeepers know. He didn’t apologize until my husband came in and I told him I’d told him our concerns.

The room was unclean, no shower curtain, had to ask for towels.

There was bugs everywhere. While cleaning up I found 3 crickets, multiple spiders, and a dead frog. Not only the bugs but the floors were so wet and everything was falling apart. The towel rack in the bathroom fell off the wall when I set the towel back on the rack. The drawers didn’t have a bottom to them, the bottom of the drawer was actually set next to the night stand so they were aware of the problem and decided not to do anything. It was a great location and a great price for a hotel but not this hotel. I woke up itchy and with bug bites and the door didn’t even close all the way. Which is the reason for the bugs I’m assuming! Huge ant problem as well. There were ants all over the bathroom sink when I got there and they multiplied as I stayed. Genuinely a very deserving 1/10 rating.

Check in clerk was competent and kind. Sheets and pillow cases were stained. Called front desk; 35 minutes passed and situation was not corrected. Went to front clerk to return key and they recommended another hotel they use that is clean!

Nice clean room! Just a bit small.

Location is good for overnight stay on the way down I-75 but the building is becoming a bit run down. In our room there was a lot of noise from the freeway and the seals on the door were coming apart. The coffee machine was missing the tray for the coffee pods and the bathtub had a constant drip that could not be turned off.

A/c didn't work very well. Other than that all good enough for the price.

Room and bathroom very small. Room was damp. Fixtures broken. Very dated and in much need of TLC.

Convenient location, but outdated. Walk in shower was slippery. Cleaning staff knocked on my door twice before 9 a.m. (check out is 11 a.m.). Curtains were not light blocking and too sheer for a 1st floor room.

Bathroom light randomly went off and on. Bathroom commode was very short (just over 1 ft tall) like sitting on floor.

Needs updating. Toilets are so low they are suitable for 5 year olds.

Would not accommodate a late check out. Reservation was for a room with 2 queen beds, unfortunately for us a baseball tournament was happening in town and we checked in later in the day and got stuck with a single twin bed. Didn’t apologize or offer a better room. We were the inconvenience!

I liked the woman at the front desk I by mistake reserved the wrong room online and she gave no hesitation to correct the mistake and made sure I got a room I didn't have to wait on. Very friendly woman very professional. The room was everything I expected greatly recommend. Thanks again to the woman working saved me time stress and money well done

After waiting in the lobby for 29 minutes before i was finally greeted to find out they switched my booking to a 1 bed and i am a family of 4. They said they could not switch me to a doble bed which was my origibal book. So we asked to be refu ded which hasnt been done yet. We also had 2 other families with us that checked in and then checked out that night due to dirty mold and bugs. The pool was closed and dirty. I dont recommend stating here to anyone

Will have breakfast ready but locked up until 6 no room service for the 4 days stayed had to wait until 7pm to get into the room was sent away 3 times until it was ready. Very poor service it would be a last resort if I ever went back. So unfortunate honestly.

The room was really clean, the staff members I interacted with were very friendly and helpful, and the location is very convenient! There's a handful of food options, a Walmart, and a couple gas stations right in the same little area.

We were there to see the University and this was perfect for our needs. Near the freeway, the university, shopping and food. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and helpful as well.

Lot of vehicle noise and no double glazing of windows in rooms.

The room was okay. Bathroom was pretty clean. The type of shower was kind of questionable water went all over the bathroom floor which made it slippery. The complimentary breakfast. Not what I Would really call a breakfast. The coffee was lukewarm. The juice dispensers were totally out of juice. There was some bagels, biscuits and what looked like sausage. Gravy and some mini muffins, and that was the only variety outside of waffles.

Room was excellent and quiet. Breakfast a bonus scrambled eggs and waffles, hmmm and staff were excellent. I will let my fiends know and will be staying there again.

Everything was good, except the breakfast bar was out of some items. The parking lot was fine except for some people playing their music late at night. But, overall, I was satisfied with a nice clean safe room at a reasonable price. The breakfast bar was a nice bonus but incomplete by the time I got there at 9:00.

This is an example of you get what you pay for. The room here was quite inexpensive. So, if you want a clean room in a fairly well-located motel and you are not concerned about the amenities then this place is fine. The room included a free breakfast too which would have been great but for the fact that at the time I went to breakfast, which was between 7:30 am and 7:45 am that the vibes were shady getting scarce and there was no effort to restock. See photos. Now there was still enough to get a decent breakfast out of it but I would have thought that if breakfast went until 9:00 or 9:30 am that would have replenished the food offerings. Plus we specifically ordered a queen size bed. It seemed that the bed we got was not queen size. I did not have a tape measure but laying across it sideways with my 5'9" body and my shoulders drooped off the end. It was long enough. I asked the people at the front desk and they told me that that room showed that the bed was what we ordered. In our opinion it was not. It was otherwise comfortable though. Another problem was that there were workers standing on the sidewalk between the main door and our room starting around 6am talking and laughing. I slept through it but my wife didn't. There was another inconvenience but bottom line is, I didn't pay for the taj mahal. I have stayed there before with fewer issues. But this stay was greatly disappointing.

Disappointed when told it was hot breakfast and was expecting more than just waffles and oatmeal. Also coffee and juice machine didn’t work.
