Hotel is okay but connectivity is an issue for both cell service and internet in meeting areas like the ballroom don't are non existent. Its got you captive so there is nowhere to walk to for other food options but they do a decent job of having food available. Couldn't believe the lack of connectivity though for a modern business hotel.

The person checking us in was AMAZING! I believe her name was Jackie, but I was exhausted when we arrived after delayed and missed flight connections. I mentioned in passing we had no clean clothes, and she immediately let us know about the free laundry facility and provided a detergent package and laundry sheet. She also sent up a robe and slippers. Truly excellent service. All with an infectious smile to boot!

We opted to stay in the airport hotel because we were arriving late and had an early flight to the island. Check in went great and we walked in to a very nice room on an upper floor. After a long drive, a cocktail sounded wonderful. So I went to make my way to the hotel bar. That’s when the trouble started. I went to the elevator we had just come up, and none were working. Being sure they would be fixed soon, I hiked down the 13 floors to the lobby, and enjoyed said cocktail. Now, 30 minutes later, still no elevator to get back to the room and no communication as to when they might be available. So I climbed the 13 flights of stairs back to the room. Feeling sweaty, out of breath, but somewhat accomplished, I began the wind down for the night, being sure they would be fixed by morning. Early the next morning, we packed up to head out on our island adventure. We made our way to the elevators, and……nothing. Still not fixed. We called down to the front desk and were told “sorry, they’re out of order.” So I got to carry two full scuba kits and a large suitcase down 13 flights of stairs while my petite wife followed with three carryons. I understand things break down sometimes, but I just can’t help but think there must’ve been a service elevator, some strapping college kids working night shift, or some other available option the hotel could have offered beyond “sorry, they’re out of order.”

We had a good time, except the elevators were always full which made it challenging with small babies and a stroller. We weren’t able to take the stairs, just had to wait. At one point we waited 15 min to get one.

This hotel had a picture of a water park as its second photo of the property, that when you click it, it says “point of interest”. They have a small pool they don’t tidy up after allowing guests to party there until late, so when we brought our kids there in the morning it was full of drink cups, cigarettes and pizza boxes. The condition of the furniture is awful. The staff is plesant but we didn’t get the information about the shuttle until the last day of our stay so we had to drag 7 suitcases up/down 7 flights of stairs with our four small kids to get there. We had dinner at the restaurant but it was a long wait and slow, so on top of being already exhausted from unexpected travel, we had dinner at a snail’s pace. The icing on the cake was being charged $6 for water that we understood to be complimentary as it was on the desk of the room, where every other hotel in the world leaves complimentary water. We will not return.

We have stayed at the airport hyatt several times recently. It is usually our go to. Never had a complaint!! WE were very pleased to receive an upgrade this time. Unfortunately the tub was not clean (hair in the drain) and we could not get hot water!! I did mention it to the front desk and they were kind enough to comp our restaurant charges from the night before. I am going to consider this a one off as usually we are very happy.

The woman at the registration desk was kind and welcoming. I was just coming from the airport where I had one of the most stressful days ever, and she was genuinely empathetic. Other staff not so much. I got a room that had a connecting door to the next room and their tv was keeping me awake when I desperately needed sleep. When I explained this to staff I was admittedly a bit pissed, and she did send up a security person to knock on the door, but after I realized that the sound was coming through the cracks around the connecting door and that the noise was still keeping me awake, I called again and she said “so what am I supised to do?” And I said “maybe you should tell people when you are putting them in a connecting room that there could be noise issues.” Downstairs in the lobby they have words like “empathy” describing how they treat guests. I had just experienced a horrible day at the airport with multiple delays and cancellations and a lot of expense, and now I was paying a lot of money to stay in a fairly high-end hotel, and I was doing my best not to sound angry but I was exhausted and honestly needed to get some sleep before an early flight. I don’t think there was even an attempt on her part to understand her guest’s needs let alone do something to make it right, even if making it right only meant being sympathetic and understanding. My room had an odor of mildew mixed with stale air, and now all the clothes in my luggage smell of it and need washing.

The room felt like an overcharged motel6 and not to bash motel6 because I’ve been in motel6 rooms that were cleaner than that. What appeared to be makeup lines on the bed, fingernail clippings on the dresser with the tv, and like someone had blown their nose on the desk; and yes Hyatt, I did take photos. The stay was brief because of an unexpected layover and thank God it was.

Check in was easy and all people from reception to the restaurant were very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the rooms have very thin walls and room 1233 has two adjoining room doors so you can hear your neighbors very clearly. i was woken at 3pm with snoring from the room next to me and 5pm from them hacking and a 6pm from their television. I only had to stay one night but would not stay any longer due to thin walls.

The location is excellent, and the shuttle services are great. The on-site restaurant was amazing, too; however, the room was the worst part. The bedding is super thin, the bed is uncomfortable, and the pillows are horrible.

This hotel is well maintained and I assume it is usually quite comfortable. But it was a bit cold outside when I was there recently for an overnight stay. It was impossible to get the room warmed enough to make it comfortable and the bed covers were very thin. The food — I had both dinner and breakfast there — was very good (although dinner was marred a bit by the dominance of big screen TVs showing college sports).

Great view of airport. Good soundproofing so very quiet. Clean, good beds. Friendly staff. Only negative is the shuttle service to and from the terminals. Very long time to get an answer on the phone when calling for the shuttle. Very long wait time for shuttle arrival. Very very very long walk from the middle of the terminal to either one of the shuttle pick-up points at the ends of the terminal. Long wait time for driver at hotel for shuttle drop off as well.

I had a bar tab which was charged to my room. Hyatt charged my linked card for the said amount. At checkout they advised they haven’t charged the amount and even after showijg them the transaction on my account, decided to charge it again. The manager, upon questioning became defensive and rude. Poor service

Wasn’t planning on staying the night in Dallas, but weather and cancellations had other ideas. The staff did an amazing job of checking in hundreds of people who were travel weary, exhausted, and out of sorts, handing out bottled water, keeping the line moving swiftly, and cranking out food and drinks well into the later hours of the day. We didn’t spend much time in the room as we had an early morning flight home, but the bed was cozy, the room clean, and hospitality more than I would have expected. Hope I never have to stay here again in such circumstances, but super happy it was there when we needed it!

The line was out the door for check in when I arrived. I thought this can't be so I went to the front of the line to ask customer service if this was the line for check-in. I received a response laced with attitude as if I was stupid for asking. After 45 minutes when I finally reached the front of the line, the person who checked me in said this was normal for this property. This will be my last visit.

Excellent food choices; great facilities; friendly staff; not too noisy; convenient shuttle. Be sure you pick the right DFW airport Hyatt because there are 2! And you can’t instantly rebook between them. This one (Regency) is by terminal C; Grand is at terminal D. If you stay here, just use the free shuttle for any terminal other than C; can’t walk outside except to C, and transit inside the airport is slow.

Only one restaurant was open with a very limited menu. Out of some things. The rooms, of which we had three on different floors, were so cold. The thermostats wouldn’t get the rooms warm. If you try turning up the heat, the thermostats would kick itself off and back down to 70’ and cold air flooded the rooms. Also the area to catch the shuttle outside the airport was extremely dangerously dark. There was no permanent overhead lighting, just some highway construction lighting on a temporary pole hooked up to a generator. I certainly would not have felt safe as a female alone making my way. The rooms were over $300 a night for each room with one occupant. The road construction around the airport to the hotel, a trip that should take 10 minutes, took 30 minutes. We paid for close proximity to the airport for an early morning flight. Some mention should have been made on the website about the road construction and resultant delays. We would have been better off staying further away and coming straight in on the highway. Furthermore, there was noise all night long from outside. It was just dreadful. Never again.

I HAD A LOT OF TROUBLE TO FIND THE HOTEL COMIMG FROM THE AIRPORT. IT IS SUPPOSED IT TAKES 5 MINUTES. IN THE DIGITAL INFORMATION BOARDS, THE HYATT REGENCY HOTEL AT THE SAME AIRPORT DOES NOT APPEAR. SO DUE TO EVERYONES MISSINFORMATION AND HOTEL DIRECTIONS SIGNS MISSING, IT TOOK ME ALMOST 2 HOURS TO FIND THE WAY, AND FINALY ARRIVED TO THE HOTEL WALKING, CARRIYING MY BAGS AND CARRY ON LUGGAGE,THROUGH A HORRIBLE UNDERGROUND PARKING LOT, WITH LOTS OF STAIRS GOING UP AND DOWN. I´M 67 YEARS OLD AND HAVE ARTHRITIS, SO I ENDED UP VERY TIRED AND WITH A LOT OF PAIN. BACK HOME I FALL SICK AND HAD TO VISIT THE DOCTOR, I´M A FREQUENT TRAVELLER AND I HAVE A LOT OF EXPIERIENCE IN AIRPORT MATTERS... THIS WAS A REALY HORRIBLE AND TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Our stay was great! We usually stay at Hotel Swexon or the omni downtown but we plan to come back here next time. We got the strip view and it wasn't loud at all, we didn't hear anything. The buffet restaurant has great food too!

Easy access to the airport. Shuttle every 20 minutes makes it really convenient. We were just staying overnight after a trip to Puerto Rico as our flight arrived quite late. We needed to catch a flight the next morning. Was quite disappointed that the complimentary water jar in the lobby was empty when we got there, granted we came in around 11:00 pm. I could have used a good refreshing drink. Breakfast was a good spread, really appreciated as we did not have dinner the evening we arrived. Appreciated how quiet it was despite its close proximity to the airport. We usually choose Hyatt because it is pet friendly. Did not travel with a pet this time, but chose to stay in one anyway.

All of the staff were bere friendly and helpful. Rooms were very nice. Only downfall was the hours for dining and the bar. We arrived a little after 2:00 pm. The dining areas and bar were closed until 4:00 pm. Once the bar opened, food and drinks were great.

Incompetent in room dining. Used four different iOS devices, and couldn’t get the QR code to load up the menu. Called down to have the menu Xeroxed, and delivered 20 minutes later. Called down to place an order, and was forwarded to the concierge as in room dining would not pick up. A young man answered, who sounded very confident, and took our order. An hour later, we found out that the order was never submitted! That’s a no bueno. BIG TIME. We will be staying with the Marriott next time, to compare services.
