I spoke to the front desk after check out. And told her about construction going on literally under my room. She stated its posted online that theres construction on the property which is false. Theres nothing online stating that theres construction going on. On the property. Workers got there around 6 to 7 am and started working. They were making regular noise. Hammers of some sort so it wasnt a major issue. Till about 9am they started using what i could think of is a jack hammer. Atleast two hours straight noise from that machine. I was trying to sleep in. Its a hotel. Ppl want to sleep in because they cant at home. I was atleast trying to wake up after 11am but i couldnt due to the noise. So i just ended up leaving the hotel and came back late at night. The lady so called said she would talk to management about some type of refund. Im not looking for a full refund but some type of refund for the inconvenience would be appreciated. I am going to make a claim with expedia. I have photos and video of rhe noise as well. It was loud like they were in my room.

Enjoyed the in room coffee machine and microwave. Spacious room, comfortable bed, good working shower. Appreciated the small dog park. The small fridge was not working properly, did not keep the food cold, had to throw it out. Overall a good place to stay.

Ice machine was broken, was told to get ice on the second floor. Coffee maker didn't work. Faucet in bathroom sink had only a very very small stream of water. Floor was dirty. For the price $120.00 I would stay elsewhere next time.

Property is being renewed, rooms are done and work g in the outside, so you’ll hear hammering around 9:30 am, lots of traffic on that road so it a bit noisy but very convenient location and comfy bed 😊

The most DISGUSTING experience I have ever had at a hotel. When I first walked into my hotel room it smelled like weed. It was midnight I was tired I dealt with it. When I pulled the sheets off my bed to lie down the sheets were filthy. Stained yellow brown and black with black crumbs in the bed. Every pillow case was also stained with makeup and god knows what else. I called the front desk and asked for another room. To my horror the sheets in the second room were even worse. And this time the filth was not only on the sheets underneath but on the top comforter just out in the open. How anyone made that bed and just left it like that blows my mind. Needless to say I did not complete my intended stay there.

Tried three rooms and had staff go with us and they agreed they were dirty to the point they just gave us a refund. Room 108 was okay other than nasty sheets. 104 had a crazy noisy ac and dirty sheets. Third room just dirty.

The location is wonderful! Nice area of Dallas. But this hotel is disgusting! I’ve never left a hotel in the middle of the night until now! It’s infested with roaches. I woke up with one crawling on me at 2 in the morning so I just got up and left! The rooms smell, towels smell. The roaches were the last straw for me! Stains all over the pillows and bed sheets!

Looks to be a fairly recently remodeled motel…still needs lots of work. The doors and windows could use some sound proofing seeing as how the motel is right on a busy highway and frontage road. The floors were filthy…I don’t recommend walking barefoot…your feet will look disgusting. Maybe more towels for a room with 3 beds should’ve a given….more beds generally means more guests staying in the room.

The hotel is fine, but the room was not as clean as we would’ve liked. Some old stains on the sheets made it a little uncomfortable, Abel. While the hotel is relatively as advertise, it is right on a major expressway, so it gets really loud starting at 5 AM in the morning with traffic.

Roaches in the room and office, dirty throughout, no towels, and the lock on the door didn't work. Shady characters around. We asked for repair on the door and no one came so we cancelled our remaining reservation after the first night and looked elsewhere. They did call us to provide the refund later, which was nice. The staff were pleasant when we engaged but this place was not nice and we felt vigilant.

Bathroom was nasty and toilet didnt work. There was someone elses hair in the tub. Roaches in the bathroom and sink areas. I have pictures of it all. Never will stay here again. Manager never called me back.

Great hotel for the price. Staff was friendly and quick during check-in and check-out. The room itself was very clean and tidy. Bed was reasonably comfy if you prefer firmer mattresses. Water pressure for the shower could be better but the temp was good. I will say, as a light sleeper, the biggest negative for me is the noisy freeway outside. This is of course not the fault of the hotel or staff, it just is what it is, but it's basically like a raging river that is never quiet. You can bring earplugs but I was afraid of sleeping through my early alarm after a very exhausting day.

This was really a "motel" that was noisy, old, and bugs in the sink. Beds were fairly comfortable and the lobby was nice but I got no sleep because of the party in the room next door until 3 am. The hotel clerk told me they had no conditioner for the shower and had to bring a hair dryer to the room. We checked out early and will not stay there again.

In our first room, there were 2 issues: the bedding smelled clean, like bleach, but had stains and the wall unit was making a terrible sound and was not putting off heat during a cold spell in Dallas. We dealt with it and asked to be moved the 2nd night. In our first NEW room, the wall unit did not come on at all. When we called the front desk, the clerk was rude and said he couldn’t guarantee another room would have heat either, but WE could check?! So my husband went down and had a few words, but we got a 3rd room. This one was better and no noticeable stains on the bedding. Overall, the manager Danny was kind and comped our 2nd night. We used Hotels.com which did rate it at 6.2, they were right!

I had a great stay at this hotel and will definitely be returning for future weekend trips to Dallas. The room was clean, the property was well maintained, and the lighting throughout felt safe and appropriate. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There’s a Denny’s just steps away in the same parking lot, and if you're looking for something with more character, The Old Monk is right around the corner a vibey spot with a great atmosphere. The surrounding area has a laid-back, convenient feel, with a liquor store and a 7-Eleven both within walking distance. Parking was easy and stress-free. Overall, a solid, reasonably priced hotel in a great location. I’ve found my new go-to for Dallas weekends.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were pretty clean. The bedding was very old so had a few stains but I could tell they were clean, just simply stained. The check in process was incredibly bad though. It took forever to get checked in to realize they gave us a room that was already occupied. We ended up walking in on a couple enjoying relations! The woman was not dressed and the man was quite pissed off which I do not blame him however it was completely not our fault. So with our hands completely full with our belongings we made a trip back to the office to get assigned another room along with the pissed off original occupant. Lets just say it was incredibly awkward for everyone involved and so inconvenient as well. It ended up taking a good hour just to get checked into our room.

Not so good for family with kids to stay in this place. When you need something, you have to walk outside and not safe for Everyone to walk during night time. I informed the front desk that the coffee maker is not working and the guy promised to fix it or replace thru maintenance person. But nothing was done. Me and my wife are coffee drinker and need it as soon as we get up. I have to walk outside like 5-10 minutes just to get coffee. The front desk said when we checked in that he had to get from my card a deposit of $75 and be returned after checked out. When I checked tonight my credit card, I was charged $322 for 2 nights stay including my deposit. My two nights was supposed to be $247. This is not a good place to stay coz the AC is so loud and my family were bothered by its noise.

Upon checking-in, we inspected the room and found stained bedding, which we reported to the front desk and we replaced with clean linens. However, two hours after activating the air conditioning, a loud screeching noise at midnight indicated the AC's malfunction. We informed the front desk, who displayed an uncooperative attitude when we requested a room change due to the non-functional AC. Given our exhaustion from a 500-mile drive, we requested to pack our belongings in the morning. The attendant, who only addressed my husband, a white male, while disregarding me, a Hispanic female, stated that a second room would incur additional charges. The replacement room had a defective refrigerator, shared a wall with an occupied room where illicit drug use was evident, and, most concerning, had a front door that would not latch, posing a significant safety risk. We report this to Expedia and decided to check out after having been at the property a total of 6 hours. The attendants don't care, are disrespectful to Women and lack empathy, customer service skills and most importantly lack critical thinking. This place is a total scam and not worth the hassle

The property is a motel about 10 ft. from the highway. The stairs outside smelled like urine. The bedding pillow cases and sheets were stained and yellowed. There was a huge gap under the door and the window could be pushed in with your hand without much effort. It was wholly unsafe for myself and my daughter. They have tried to spruce it up with paint, new floors, and furniture but its location can never be fixed. It is unfortunate because the front desk person was kind and lobby was nice but they would not return my money when I said we felt uncomfortable and only returned half our deposit. We had to go stay elsewhere so we lost over $225 plus a new hotel. We went to The Beeman just up the road for only $20 more for the night and had a great and safe place to rest our heads before my daughter’s spinal surgery consultation. I can’t suggest staying here if you are a woman because I believe fully it is not safe. This is not the property’s fault but its location. If it were a few blocks off the highway back with the newly revitalized restaurant area nearby it would be better but it’s still a motel with no barrier between you and who knows what lurking around the parking lot and highway.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, breakfast was not much but my brother and I had a late supper, next door, right after arrival so the breakfast selections were adequate. Room was nice & comfortable. I chose the handicap room as I was coming to Dallas to be seen regarding a medical condition. Will be returning to Dallas in 2 weeks for medical testing, will book with LaQuinta again, possibly a different location according to where my testing will be done. Do enjoying LaQuinta properties, service, locations, and definitely the fair price for value received.

The staff was fine, the room ok cleanliness was fine. It wasn't amazing, but it was fine for the 1 night we needed to stay. The "breakfast" was not much of a breakfast at all. It was more of a snack. It had your standard waffle, cereal and some bananas, but not much else. So, if you need a place for a night or maybe 2, that's convenient to downtown Dallas and places just north of downtown, it's economical and clean.

It wasn’t bad. There were just a few issues. The a/c unit kept making a noise when it went to cool the room which was pretty loud while trying to sleep. The breakfast area was lacking in drinks (milk) yogurt, and if there are more than 6 people coming in to eat there is no room to sit and eat or able to grab things to eat

Thin walls, people above my room kept me awake both nights, moving chairs and walking around un boots until 2am in the morning. Told night clerk but nothing wax done. Was told before i paid two nights there was a hot breakfast. When got up next morning there hot breakfast was waffels, rest was cold.

It’s okay for what it is. Bonus is that there is a Denny’s that shares the parking lot. Negative is that the employees of said Denny’s are nervous about what happens outside their restaurant. Which pretty much tells you everything you need to know. But the price was right, and the room (ignoring the decaying outside or the guy throwing up in his car - true story) did what we needed it to do. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked. It’s just an average place for a low price.
