Nice bar and clean modern rooms

The hotel is being remodeled and we were not able to enjoy all the amenities. It is lovely now, but it will be great once it’s finished. I will definitely go back once it’s done.

We were there for a seminar. Food services for the event were excellent. Elevators were VERY swift and efficient for a 30-story hotel.

Everything was almost perfect, the staff was really nice and helpful but the pool was disgusting, lots of crickets and flies were floating all over the pool, was very disappointing

This hotel is designed poorly and is overall inconvenient. To get to the pool and gym area you must walk up dusty metal stairs. I saw other guests that had difficulty getting out of the limited parking garage - the card the hotel provides doesn't work all the time. Staff were rude and not willing to help after i told them about the predicament. Avoid this hotel that is overpriced for such limited services and outdated design.

The hotel was under renovation. This should have been disclosed at the time I made my reservation.

Didn’t like the parking so much, could have a been little more expressed on parking. Paid parking when I already paid a premium to stay in a room, seems ridiculous.

The hotel was very clean, it is very conveniently located. The staff was great and our room was clean and quiet. The rooftop pool and gym are clean and well kept. This is a great place to stay.

Initial impressions were all awesome. Easy check in, very clean room, beautiful pool & hot tub. By 10pm, I had already decided to plan a return trip. And then it all fell apart. Somewhere between 10-midnight we started hearing loud strange noises that we couldn’t identify. It sounded like an electrical saw on metal. Seemed like a strange time for maintenance to be happening or maybe there was some kind of maintenance emergency. Then during the night the toliets stopped flushing completely, then started backing up. I had a dilemma of dealing with my sleeping grandson, or “waiting “ which ended when my grandson woke up at 8, and had to go. Quickly got dressed and headed for the lobby to use the lobby restrooms. No such luck… closed for cleanup. We were told we might be able to use restrooms on the 3rd floor. No clean flushable toilet available but when a 10 year old has to go, you use what’s available…gross. Was told at checkout that the situation started out as “planned” maintenance but then a pipe burst or was broken. I get it stuff happens , unexpected events occur but no toliets for many hours at a premium hotel is unacceptable. No contingency plan? No notice under the door or at checkin about loud late hour maintenance planned? No good information about where we could “go” until it’s repaired? And no offer of compensation at checkout. We checked out earlier than planned to drive next door at the children’s hospital to use their lobby facilities. Very disappointing

Pool area is so dated. you should certainly have an indoor pool and outdoor. The outdoor pool needs to renovated. Thanks loyal Marriott member.

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly, courteous, and accommodating.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and I had breakfast at the restaurant every morning. I wish I could have opened a window for fresh air. I would stay there again.

Property is slightly on the outdated side. It was clean but there was a little mildew in the shower which made me uncomfortable/avoid using it to shower. The front desk representatives during the day time were very friendly and attentive but the night/overnight were not. I had called the hotel front desk hours before our check in to let them know we would be arriving late after 10 PM. I reminded her of the crib request that I put in and to ensure it would be ready in the room so baby can sleep right away. She said no problem and documented it. We arrived at the property around 12:30 AM. The front desk person said there was no notes on the reservations from the prior person I spoke to over the phone. Basically there were no cribs available after we had to wait 20 mins for her to call around and check. The only solution she offered us was to cancel and refund the reservation and call other hotels to see if they had availability with a crib. She called around and told us there was a hotel farther out that had a crib but cost more to stay per night. This was ridiculous and unfair. I went out of my way to avoid this situation happening and the person I spoke to on the phone clearly LIED and didn’t do their job. When checked out at noon I made to sure to take the managers information and will be calling him tomorrow. We will never stay here again. There are plenty of newer, cleaner, more reliable, professional hotels for $300 a night.

Clean and nice property.

There aren't any bad things I can say about this hotel! We've stayed at a lot of high end resorts and this hotel is at the top! Great visit from check-in to checkout! Great customer service, beautiful decor, impeccably clean, and super comfortable beds! When in Dallas, this will be our go to hotel.

The hotel was very clean, it is very conveniently located. The staff was great and our room was clean and quiet. The rooftop pool and gym are clean and well kept. This is a great place to stay.

Staff was excellent. However, the room floor was dirty and hadn't been mopped or vacuumed. You could see dirty water spots in the bathroom area. There was items, i.e., paper clips or safety pin under the settee. There wasn't any liners in the trash cans. There are no eateries in walking distance of the hotel. The only place to dine was the hotel restaurant which was nice but expensive & limited menu. Also there was an added fees on my bill. I was expecting my total rate to be $198/night including fees & taxes as listed on Expedia. It was higher,

Our stay was mostly positive. Initially, we were given an incredibly small room that felt unbearable. I called the front desk right away, and thankfully, they were able to move us immediately to a more spacious king room, which met our needs perfectly. The hotel was clean and easy to navigate, and it offered great value for the price. Its convenient location near the American Airlines Center was a definite plus!

Had a problem with door to room. Lock wouldn’t open. Anytime I had to get into my room, would take 6 or 7 attempts.

I loved the room. Comfy bed wonderful bathroom and friendly staff

Excellent in overall experience. Large specious room. Large bathroom. Plenty of towels. Housekeeping is provided upon request. I will definitely recommended this property to family and friends.

Had a water leak in my room

It would be good, if WiFi for free!

No water bottles in the room . No microwave . No iron bar in the bathtub.it is dangerous for the old people to take showers . No free wifi , No breakfast available. Only one small restaurent for 550 rooms . They know how to milk the customers . For 4 bottles water they charged 20 dollars .

Prior to my arrival, i called the hotel for assistance with a late check out and a possible 6:30 P.M. checkout, Staff was rude, advised they had room however it would cost $30.00 per Hour, I called the hotel 3 times in hopes of being more reasonable, It seemed only a Marriott membership would help, the 3rd. time i gave them a Marriott number, still rude. I changed to Virgin Hotel and they were Great, worked with late check out that was reasonable and even gave me a ride to my evening event at No charge, I would Never recommend Renaissance Dallas

Great stay, was in town for a vollleyball tournament, great place to stay. Staff was great!!

It was a great experience since we were there for Dallas Market. We had excellent customer service and the rooms were nice. We will definitely go back!

On the morning of check out, I called the front desk for a luggage cart. She was very rude. Then I asked if there was a valet charge because the man at check in told me just let them know and they would take it off. She tells me, 'uh, obviously they (the valet) didn't walk over here and tell us you valeted.' I did not get her name but she would remember being rude to me. That last encounter ruined all the good things. She needs a refresher in CUSTOMER SERVICE or get out of that field because she is not for customer service.

the staff really made our stay memorable. Everyone was friendly and attentive, which made a big difference. The facilities were clean and well-maintained.

The property is under construction, but overall it seemed pretty average. The room was ok. A little tight with space. No hooks in the bathroom for towels. They were outside the bathroom door in the room. Not a lot of dining choices in the area. Need a car or share ride service to get around. Their restaurant, Asador, was amazing for dinner. The food and drinks were so good.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff were very helpful. The restaurant on the first floor was wonderful. We ate there every night as we were snowed in, but it was great because the food was awesome.

Everything was Great, wish they had a coffee shop inside and another dining option.
