Easy valet parking. Restaurants on site as well as a Starbucks. There are also some great restaurants within walking distance. Have stayed here many times. Easy to walk to Meyerson and First Baptist Dallas.

Only 1 of 4 elevators worked and then on Saturday during our stay, the only operating elevator broke down after someone got stuck in it. We waited most of the day for it to be fixed . Finally, at 11 pm we decided to hike up 24 flights of stairs (14th floor) to go to our room. The elevator (only 1) was semi-operational on Sunday, but the doors kept opening and closing and it skipped floors (very scary). Certainly not the typical Fairmont Hotel experience.

This is now my "go to" hotel when I need to be in downtown Dallas. It's in a good location near the Guadalupe Cathedral and the Meyerson Symphony Hall. The valet parking staff (Michael & Su) and hotel staff (Raven, Mary Jane) were very kind and helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I slept so well. The room and bathroom were very clean, comfortable. The pool was fantastic. The terrace pool is lovely, 3 to 9 feet increasing depths. And the final wonderful surprise was the Pyramid restaurant which offered delicious affordable gourmet cuisine. That is why I like this hotel so very much.

Definitely not a good experience. Unable to sleep due to noise on the street. Windows are razor thin and do not keep out the sound from outside. Room was dated and bathroom ceiling had hair stuck to it. Sheets and towels did not have a good scent. Overall, not a 4 star experience by any standard.

There was a small cockroach climbing the wall which can happen but still leaves an impression. The beds were not all that comfortable and while the air blew cold, it seemed to have trouble cooling off the room even when it was only 40 degrees outside. However the worst was the water pressure. It was so weak that it would even make it up to the shower head. Engineering was called and we were told that the problem was there were a lot of people taking showers at that time. You would think that an established hotel of this size could support such water use at the same time. We had the time so we waited a few hours and the water was a little better but was still very weak. The front desk staff was extremely nice and offered to move us to a different room. However there was no guarantee that it would have been any better in a different room. We were only there for that day so we just dealt with it. They charge $50 for valet parking with no option of self parking. However there is a parking lot across the street to the east that only cost $12. The staff were very nice but with all the options in the Dallas area we will probably stay elsewhere next time.

My room was not properly cleaned. The bathtub was clogged with ginger hair, despite me having black hair. The cleaning staff arrived at my door promptly and removed the hair, assuring me that everything should be fine. The maintenance person arrived a few minutes late, but I told him that everything should be okay. After taking a shower, I found that the tub was still clogged. I didn't call again since I was leaving the next day. Fairmont is such a nice hotel, and I have stayed here in the past, but my room really was not cleaned well.

We had a wonderful stay at the Fairmont Dallas. The rooms were beautifully appointed and very clean, with incredibly comfortable beds that made it easy to relax after a long day. The pool area was a definite highlight — perfect for cooling off and enjoying some downtime. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making the experience even more enjoyable. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dallas!

This should not be called a fairmont. Room was in bad shape and smelled musty. Carpet was old/dirty and smelled bad. Shower was in bad shape as well and had stains. This hotel needs some renovation and is not up to par for being a Fairmont.

All the furniture was in good condition, but color schemes was nothing but various shades of brown. The only AC vent blows directly on you if you are sitting at the desk which is completely distracting and noisy. Also, no fridge for my items. Only minibar fridge.

Our room was in the South tower and only one of the elevators was working and the temperature in our room never got below 75 degrees even with the air conditioning at its lowest setting. The only usb port in the room also didn’t work. However, The food was absolutely FABULOUS !! And the lobby was beautiful !!

Darrel the concierge was amazing, my wife had fallen and broke her ankle on Saturday at an event away from hotel. When we arrived back at hotel Darell was there he got her a wheel chair took us to our room, got ice and an extra pillow to Eli ate her leg. He was also there to help to the Uber and move our luggage at check out. E is your best person! Thank you!

Looks Fancy Outside, but Very Outdated Inside The Fairmont Dallas makes a great first impression from the outside, and valet service was excellent — polite and efficient. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended for us. Once inside, the hotel feels tired and outdated. Service was extremely slow — we asked for coffee and water in the morning, waited over two hours, and made three follow-up calls before giving up and getting it ourselves. When we asked for a microwave to warm up our child’s food, we were told none were available for guest use — not even in a common area. We stayed in a double junior suite, but the bathroom was very small, and most of the light fixtures were old, dim, or not working properly. Fairmont used to stand for luxury, but this property really hasn’t kept up. It feels like they’re relying on the brand’s history instead of updating rooms or improving service. Dallas has many newer, more comfortable hotels that offer better value and attention to guests.

The service here is brillaint. From the valet parking as you arrive to the bell hop service and the excellent staff at the bar, all were 5 star and a credit to the hotel. The gent who took our bags to our room gave us some brilliant recommendations and really helped make our brief stay in Dallas perfect.

I recently stayed at your property & want to begin by recognizing the many positive aspects of my visit. Raven was especially kind, checking in to see how my stay was going, & the concierge was helpful when I called with questions. Overall, the service I received was appreciated. That said, I want to raise a concern about my departure on July 19. While I understand technical issues can occur, the elevator outage became extremely distressing. I had a 2 PM late checkout, & by the time I was leaving, all elevators—including the service elevator—were out of order. I was staying on the 22nd floor with luggage, and could not get back into the room when I tried to return. I texted the same hotel contact I had been communicating with during my stay but didn’t receive a reply until I was already in my Uber to the airport. With no other option, I had to carry & drag my luggage down 22 flights of stairs. It was hot, exhausting, & frankly unsafe—especially for guests with mobility or health concerns. I made it down safely, but I’ve had lingering pain since, & my luggage was damaged. I understand that unexpected problems arise, but the lack of communication made the situation feel chaotic. In a hospitality setting, timely outreach to impacted guests was expected. I know kindness matters & goes a long way, which is why I’m not sending this as a malicious complaint, but as a thoughtful suggestion to consider. safety risk was safety risk was real & would have fallen on the property.

I recently stayed at the Fairmont Hotel to celebrate both my birthday and anniversary, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, we were encouraged to use the valet service, which we were assured would park our vehicles in a covered parking garage. However, we later discovered that both of our cars were left in an open parking lot down the street—something we could have paid a much lower rate for had we known in advance. The hotel’s elevator situation was also frustrating. With only one functioning elevator, we waited 15–20 minutes each time we needed to go up or down, which was highly inconvenient. The valet retrieval process was equally chaotic, with some guests waiting up to 1.5 hours just to get their keys. Additionally, the heater in our room was not working properly despite the outside temperature being 30 degrees. While the room itself was decent, it felt very outdated and in need of renovation. Overall, for a luxury hotel, I expected a much smoother experience. The service inefficiencies, outdated accommodations, and lack of communication regarding parking made our stay less enjoyable than anticipated. I hope management takes steps to improve these issues for future guests.

Great staff and rooms. I loved being in the middle of the arts district. I chose this hotel because we came for a concert at the House of Blues and I wanted to be in walking distance, so glad I did! This was my first visit to Texas and I loved walking around and all that was available in walking distance or by the trolley which was a great experience as well!!

We’ve stayed here several times when we visit Downtown Dallas. It’s convenient to the interstate for a quick trip to Northpark and also within walking distance of nice parks, museums and dining. The bar and room service are excellent. Valet get a little backed up if you time it wrong, but they are efficient and friendly. We usually grab a Suite and enjoy the dining table for room service breakfast.

Didn't like that front desk didn’t pick up several times. Our bathroom had slow drainage in the shower and overall the hotel was dated. I was told renovations are coming in the future. Room seevice didn't pick up about 15 minutes before it stated they were closed. They should update the houra. Nevertheless, the pool area was nice and easy to access towels. And the food at the restaurant next to the bar was good.

The food and service at the restaurant was mediocre. The parking fee of $54.13 for one night was extreme. The carpet on the 16th floor north tower was old and pieced together in the hallway. There is no complimentary WiFi. No blankets in the room. The best part of our stay was Greg, the complimentary car service driver who make sure my daughter was safely driven to and from the House of Blues.

Food options are really horrible. If you ask them to make omelette with tomato they put dried or canned tomato. They dont have breakfast buffet. Room are not cleaned timley. It has happened with me twice that they didnt clean my room and bins.

First Fairmont i have ever seen that failed to meet my standards. Room was not thought through - had to climb under the table to charge laptop; had to climb there again to turn off the lamp. There was no drinking water in the room despite a coffee machine. Breakfast order on door knob was not picked up. Restaurant was understaffed for breakfast (took some time to find the host) and the front desk was empty.
