Shilo Inn Klamath Falls

The indoor pool and spa were pretty good, and the desk clerk and manager were friendly and responsive. Unfortunately, our room had not been properly cleaned. The previous guest clearly had a dog staying with them and the floor had not been cleaned. There was dog hair and dirt everywhere. The housekeeping staff had already gone home and they were fully booked. The best thing to be done was to sweep the room myself, with a broom borrowed from the front desk. The manager was very apologetic in the morning, but it made for an uncomfortable night. It was compounded by the fact that the hotel is clearly due for a refurbished. The furniture is very tired. Almost all of the chairs and the sofa in our room had holes worn through the upholstery.

There were some food options within walking distance. Plenty of parking. The hot tub and pool were pleasant. The bed was comfortable and clean.

Loved the pool

The Positive: This is the second time we have brought our family here, the kids love the pool, the rooms are always clean, the staff is nice, they have a nice little gym with mirrors, a small pool, a hot tub, sauna, steam room, the beds are comfortable, air conditioning worked GREAT. The Negatives: The Breakfast has not been available the last two times we came down (but they did have coffee still), the ice machines on the top 3 floors didn’t work, some of the furniture is outdated, if you have the fan off you can hear everything in the halls.

Room was clean, but the place was severely understaffed for a really busy check in. Hot tub wasn't working on our first stay. Barely working on our second. Hotel is located away from most everything. Luckily, Abby's Pizza was nearby. Good pizza. Positive note: it's right on the highway. So, easy in, easy out for us long trekkers.

The sauna and steam room were great surprises! Would definitely stay again!

I really liked the room. Great mirror lighting, fluffy towels, comfy beds, great ironing board available to use and our room was quiet. I rated a 4 because the hot tub was out of service and it the main reason we booked the Shiloh Inn.

Hotel listed a lounge and restaurant It had neither. Most ice machines were out of order. Had to go on a scavenger hunt to find the one that worked. Checkin person had zero personality. Hot tub was also out of order. Workout room was lacking. Atleast it was clean and comfortable.

Nice staff, big clean rooms

I appreciated the pool and hot tub being open. I found a used bandaid in my bed, and it looked like the room hadn't been cleaned in a while. There was dust on every surface and hair on the floor in the bathroom. The other bed seemed fine, so we slept in that one.

I have stayed here numerous times and within the past two years it is steadily going down. Last night I took a bath received a phone call that water was leaking from my bath into the downstairs bathroom. No offer to change rooms at that point because that meant I was not able to take a shower in the morning. Then proceeded to go to bed and the sheets were not fresh sheets. They were dirty previously used by the look of them so I got out the blanket. I always carry with me while traveling and use that so please beware in regards to cleanliness at this hotel. I did pass along my concerns when I checked out Manager was not available and I had to leave for a meeting. I left my phone number and no response at all from the manager. Highly doubtful I will ever stay at this hotel again.

The hot tub and sauna/stream room were closed but there was no notice of this. The room was nice and big but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Mostly, the room was just dirty. Stains on sheets, towels, carpet and lamp shades. Dirty bathtub. Pretty gross, actually. At least it’s pet friendly. Hardly ever anyone at the front counter. I wasn’t expecting a breakfast at all so something is better than nothing but it was all prepackaged and extremely processed foods. The hotel needs a facelift real bad.

The room was nice and big. The only issue was the room smelled like wet dog and cigarette smoke.

I can hear next door talking. I can hear people walking above us. Woke me up with people take showers and flushed toilets. If you want a quiet place to stay, this is not the place.

Room was very spacious, but noisy from adjacent rooms. Could have used microwaveable cups, and blankets for the beds, and more coat hangers. One light bulb burned out. Not worth the high cost.

Free breakfast was disappointing. Nothing made fresh like the last time I stayed. The person above me spent the evening dragging stuff around and stomping. No insulation between floors. The front desk handed out my room keys to someone checking in after me. They actually walked into the room before realizing there was a mistake. Front desk blamed it on our last names being similar. Whatever.

It’s conveniently located on the highway. Room was spacious and clean, though the hotel was old side. Our room was on 4th floor and we could see Klamath lake.

This hotel is just ok. Here to get to Crate Lake. Very dated, smells a little musty but seems clean enough.

This was a quick overnight trip. The hotel and room were clean and comfortable. The hotel is a little dated, but has been kept up very well. We had a King bed room and when we walked in we were surprised to see the size of the room was huge with a separate living room area with a wet bar and second television. We will definitely stay here again!

Bad hotel. Feel it’s like too much hype around this. Internet was terrible. Nothing connected at all. They need to do better.

Everyone was exceptional. Example: Couldn't get the key card to work (operator error, not property) and an employee came by and assisted me! Thanks!

I want to share a deeply disappointing experience at this hotel, centered around a front desk staff member named Britney. While traveling from California, I called the hotel in advance to inform them we’d be checking in late—around 4:00 AM. Instead of helping, Britney flatly denied our request and insisted we would not be allowed to check in at that time, despite having a confirmed reservation. To make matters worse, she even left a note for the next shift reinforcing that instruction. We arrived at 4:30 AM with five family members, including my elderly parents, after a long drive—only to be left waiting in the lobby for over 30 minutes. The night receptionist seemed apologetic but said she was unable to override the instructions left by Britney. After repeated requests, she kindly escalated the issue to her manager’s supervisor, who immediately approved our check-in. Even Expedia, whom we contacted during the ordeal, acknowledged the unprofessional behavior on record. In today’s competitive hospitality landscape, such treatment is not just unacceptable—it’s damaging to the reputation of any brand. Britney’s behavior showed a complete lack of empathy, professionalism, and respect for guests. Because of this experience, I’ve decided never to stay at a Shilo property again and will strongly discourage others from booking with them.

The rooms are roomy and very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We love staying here when we come to Klamath.

The room was clean, but the staff was very unhelpful. My room was very cold when I checked in, but when I called front desk for an extra blanket, she said ‘I can’t find them’ and didn’t want to do anything to help, then hung up on me.

The curtain rod to close at night was missing. I could hear neighbors talking and hear their pipe water when in use. Front desk clerks were not welcoming and did not smile.

The woman at the front desk was unnecessarily rude. We are senior citizens and had no intention of breaking any rules or causing a problem. She was also rude to the couple we are traveling with. Too bad, because your hotel was actually very nice. We won’t be staying there again.

Good experience on this trip. Hour away from the airport and Crater Lake National Park. Hotel is clean, good breakfast, and good service. Few things I would recommend is add some fruits on the breakfast menu and complimentary water on arrival just like most hotels we had been.

Convenient place as it’s very close to highway. Have a few fast food restaurants nearby for breakfast.

There is no sports bar there even though it is still on the signs inside. The breakfast choices were very weak.

I liked the two tv's in the room. The breakfast isn't great. You can microwave some hot pocket things and they have muffins. Not a lot of protein options. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Everything about my stay was good except that there was no breakfast and there was a sign saying "Breakfast will return soon." Rather disappointed as breakfast is one of the factors I and many others use when deciding whether or not to stay at a particular hotel. Shilo needs to update their website and their hotels.com listing to reflect that there is currently no breakfast.

The staff was just ok. It says breakfast included, but it was a grab and go and wasn't what we have had at other hotels.

The room was mostly fine, but the carpet was stained in several locations and the bed was uncomforably soft. The ice maker was broken on our floor, making it necessaary to got downstairs for ice. There was a restaurant & bar, but they were closed during our three-day stay.
